Are they professional, will they pay on time, and how loyal are they to me as I am to them? I find that C2C meets all my checklist and I truly appreciate Coast 2 Coast Signings and the orders I receive. They are professional and have great communication with us independent contractors. Will not be using these services. Asked for pricing and was told $25/5 pages in which I asked for clarification on if I'm being charged for 5 pages of signatures or every 5 pages of the document they read since I've never had to use a notary before. They responded with "$25/5 pages..." Also to note, the other worker had originally said that they aren't available and after that initial pleasant back and forth, once again said that they aren't available. Unprofessional and unorganized. edit: Easier to just attach the entire conversation in a screenshot, but to give more evidence of unprofessionalism: as per the screenshot, there were 2 different people that responded to my inquiry. Obviously I was told more than once about the "25/5 pages" because that's what I was asking about...yet clarification was not provided and instead got a passive aggressive restatement followed by a ...(.) Ironically, she's claiming that she asked for my phone number to clear up any misunderstandings that could have happened over text. However, if there was something she didn't understand, she could have easily stated her reason instead of making it seem like she needed it to go through with the notarization process. I'm pretty sure that's what she was doing and is just pulling the "miscommunication" card. I'm not going to give out my information until I have my questions answered. Regardless of that, if she has trouble communicating through text, it'd probably be wiser to turn off Yelp inquiries. And to address how I "did not respond in a timely manner" and that they were "taking hours to see responses" from me: The timestamps show that I responded within 20 minutes, while she actually took 5 hours to respond. I've been a notary signer for over 25 years .I took these signing for a little extra money.I waiting to paid for June through now Payments. Obviously they've been paid the full amount through title where they won't even pay me my little $50. I just stopped doing signings for them. And I've asked them several times to pay me. Now they're at the point where they don't even respond to my emails. I feel like this company takes the money from the title companies and uses the notaries. Collecting for services rendered is problematic. My invoice is 10 days past due. It should not be difficult for a company to pay a vendor invoice of $75 for a signing. Emails not answered and payment was received only after contacting the title company (their customer) and advising of non-payment. Whew where do I even begin! I will say this was a very nice company. I had done a couple of signings and was very please with the service I had received before today. The pay seems to fit the cases provided. I cannot complain about the quality of work that has been received as a notary. However the quality of customer serviced received today makes me second guess the company. It is true sometimes one bad apple can spoil the bunch. I have dealt with a lot of ladies and the service has been superior. I received a called from Jeff because Lisa was not in the office and ensured she would have someone called. Upon walking in my office this morning and sitting down I noticed I had some emails from C2C. I begin responding but Spectrum was here working on the internet. Once the internet was back up, I went back to responding. Long story short, I spoke to Jeff. I was trying to get clarity on why I was dropped from a signing. He said well we could not reach you so we had to drop you. I was like but I had already answered the questions inside the portal. Anyway he begin to say well it was after then. We started writing you about 6pm and since there was no response boom your dropped. He said the package was not tracking and that is why they dropped me. We hung up the phone because he said that was there practice and that was it, there was nothing to be done or willing to be done about it. You would think case close. I would just be upset that I spent 4 days on a signing that keep being pushed off and then boom finally happens. BUT.... This man called me back! Just to argue some more. Can you really believe that a "professional" called me back just to have a heated conversation? He literally said "I am calling you back just to prove that the documents were held because it is just now tracking. I started laughing because apparently the south wind was blowing and he had lost his marbles. I just knew the Punk crew was going to jump out. As a business owner myself who records calls for quality assurance, its definitely these conversations should be used for training purposes to show others never call a client back to argue with them. Along with Jeff having some type of coaching and/or write up. Dude was super rude. He was like "Oh notaries just holding documents for two days!" He even cussed and said what the fuck! Like where do we really do this at? It was mind blowing to say the least, so I really gave him some attitude back and told him I was not about to go back and forth with him and hung up the phone. VERY unprofessional to say the least. The thing is, people have to learn to be more considerate and more professional in there tone and delivery. Jeff doesn't know if I was having a bad day and in C2C city. I could be pyscho and be sitting at his office waiting on him to clock out and kidnap him. She displays a great sense of humor while still being professional and shares even her own mistakes so we can learn from them. Virginia knows how to connect with her audience, which is hard when it is via zoom. If I could I would give NEGATIVE STARS. Your company sends out a notary that received $150 for just making sure I signed mortgage documents. I asked the notary if I needed to add the date next to my name, and she said she would do that. So I think closing docs are done and I'm waiting the 3-day cool down. Then I get a call from the Title/Escrow company saying that the dates are incorrect on the documents. The Escrow company had to overnight the documents and I had to initial and put the correct date on 5 to 6 pages. The worst part is the month and day were fine, but the YEAR WAS INCORRECT. I received multiple requests for HELOCs and loan modifications from them. I am ok with those types of signings. However, I live in an area where the distance between some of the towns is great and fairly rural. I have been able to negotiate a few of these, however, when it comes time for payment, they run 45 days or longer. I currently have over $100 worth of invoices for which I have sent statements and have not been paid. Other agencies pay like clock work on 30 days or 15 days. To be among the desired companies to do business with, suggest they review their collection methods with their lenders and payouts to hard working signing agents. I am a brand new notary and laughed at the $30 fee. I responded that I will not accept any mortgage signing for no less than $150. Coast to Coast rejected the request almost immediately. ha, ha, ha. You want my time and services then you must pay for it. Fortunately, I do notary work as a side hustle and don't need the income to survive. The time and effort to travel to a signing, prepare the documents, and then mail them requires the same amount of effort. This frankly is my point! The time, training, transportation, equipment, supplies, and professionalism, are all fixed costs. The $150 minimum fee that I charge is the minimum for the 15 page document because of the required fixed cost effort. If Coast to Coast would like me to complete the full mortgage closing, my fees would only be just under $200. This is a simple business practice of economies of scale. Most shops or contracted services across the country require a minimum one hour service fee or a diagnostics fee. Why is that so hard to understand? read more

When they could not find a mobile notary on Guam they decide to send the escrow documents, which they weren't even authorized by the escrow company to send, to my elderly parents via email and asked them to sign in their presence via virtual meeting! They didn't even try to track down a mobile notary on the island while I was able to do so by reaching out to escrow companies there. read more

I am an independent Certified Notary Signing Agent and I must say I have received 95% of my signings from C2C. I haven't received my first paycheck from the company yet but my 30 days just got here. I never had a bad experience with this company at all. In fact, when I am assigned the signing and make contact with borrowers to confirm date and times, they are always shows by the quick response for a notary. I enjoy getting signings from them. I just branched out on my own in January after being a being a notary 4 years into my commission. Because of C2C, I have now gained experience in loan modifications, re-financing, and loan closings. Great company to do signings for! The work is super consistent and they pay out on time. Lisa gave me my first signing and actually called me on the phone and shared some helpful tips before getting started. Kasey works extremely hard to make sure the packets are completed properly and I don't think notaries realize how difficult of a task that is.
