M friend and I went to Coasis for brunch and it was very busy! We had reservations so thankfully we didn't have to wait. We sat inside which was pretty tight seating so if you want a lot of personal space, this isn't the place for you. The music was also blasting. I liked the music selection but my friend and I were literally yelling in order to hear each other so that wasn't ideal. The service was decent but the waitress forgot both of our sides until we reminded her. Also, there's an automatic service charge. Now, the food was very good! It was way overpriced but cooked and seasoned well. Parking is also non-existent and its valet only. I want to say I paid $15 or $20 which is ridiculous but I was running late and didn't have time to search for street parking. All in all, it's a cute spot with good food but probably wouldn't return due to the cost. There's similar places with better options and service.

I went to Coasis on Saturday to celebrate my friend's birthday, and overall, we had a great time! We had a 1:30 PM reservation and were seated right away as soon as we walked in. There was security at the door who wanded us down and checked our purses, which made me feel like the area might not be the safest, but once we got inside, the vibes were definitely flowing. We were greeted by the DJ as we entered, and the energy was great from the start. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name because she was so sweet!) greeted us quickly and brought paid bottled water to the table. There is no tap water here. For appetizers, we ordered the Cajun wings and seafood dip. The food took a little while to come out, but when it did, everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The wings were crispy and seasoned perfectly, definitely one of the highlights. The seafood dip was also really good, and when we asked for more chips, our waitress happily brought some out. We ordered lemon drop towers in different flavors. Pineapple, peach, blueberry, and strawberry. They were yummy, and the bartender definitely wasn't stingy with the liquor! For my meal, I ordered the churro waffles and wings (yes, the same wings from the appetizer. I didn't mind one bit! LOL!). The waffle was just right. Crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, and not overly sweet. I also tried the biscuit with honey butter, which was good. My friend had the Bananas Foster French toast, and she loved it, although her eggs came out a little late. Another friend had the shrimp and grits and said the shrimp were on the salty side, and someone else mentioned the same about the salmon croquettes. Our waitress apologized for those hiccups and offered to make it right, which I really appreciated. The music was great. Shout out to DJ Marly Mar! Very lively and fun, though a bit explicit at times (the DJ said it depends on the crowd). He even came out from the booth to interact with everyone and handed out free shots to people celebrating birthdays and college graduations, which was a nice touch. All in all, even with a few small issues, I'd definitely go back. The food, drinks, and atmosphere made it a fun brunch spot!

Coasis was my go to restaurant for amazing soul food in Tampa. The remodeling of the restaurant is a vibe. This visit was unfortunately not similar to my past experiences. They now do valet only parking for their lots. It cost $16.50 with tax. I can see their main lot but why the parking across the street. The reservation check in process included a security checkpoint including checking my purse and a full body pat down of my husband. Did I mention we went for BRUNCH. The music is always too loud but was better today. The food as always was really good. We had fish and grits, chicken and waffles, honey butter biscuits, and peach french toast and chicken. Delicious! No complaints. Service by Princess was excellent and the saving grace to push my experience from a 2 to a 3 stars. I'm not sure if something happened there but that's not the experience I prefer and enjoy for an expensive brunch. Real shame as this place has potential if they rethink the total experience they provide. Best of luck to them.

Pretty decent experience here. Went here on a double date and specifically wanted to come to their R&B night. The venue is a bit small on the inside, but it didn't feel overcrowded. Although it was a night designated for playing music, it was entirely TOO loud. Our group was barely able to hold a conversation throughout the night, and when we did speak we had to yell and repeat ourselves. The service was okay. Our waitress was fine but extremely slow. The saving grace was the food. My partner and I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and truffle fries. The lamb chops were so juicy and tender. Everything was delicious. I don't see myself in a hurry to come back here, but I'd be open to trying again eventually.

The vibe was a vibe! First time I went was on a Saturday afternoon with no reservation so we were seated outside which was no problem for me. The inside was jumping though but I did not get any pics inside it looked very nice & even the bar was full up. I will get inside pics next time! Outside was a vibe though! The music was great. The energy was dope! It was a mix crowd. It is a nice spot whether for a fun date, girl's trip or guys outing! I would not recommend small/young children going as they do hVe hookahs & loud music inside & outside. Not sure if there is an age required anyway so please check. The waitress was super cool and recommended options. My food was great! I got the shrimp and grits with no sausage. They got the fried seafood platter that came with fried lobster tail, fried shrimp, and fried fish. They also got some collard greens. I would recommend making a reservation, especially if you have a decent size party as it was only two of us so luckily we were able to be seated. I've been for ladies night as well as a regular night, and both nights were lit! The DJ played great music and it was a great environment to be in with great food and great service! For searing inside, I would recommend getting a reservation

The food is made to order fresh and cooked to perfection. The interior was made to take pictures and feel comfy and on trend. They have amazing lighting. Our servicer was so nice personable and knowledgeable about the food. The interior is spectacular for influencers photos. I can't wait to go back for Wednesday seafood.

This is a cute place with good food. Their oysters and brussels are REALLY GOOD! All of the food is very well seasoned. The drinks are good and will sneak up on you. WATER is not free and you can't get a cup of water from the bar so that was a disappointment. The location of the restaurant is the worst and you have to park on the street unless you do valet and the parking lot they use looks super tight so if you're particular about your car I'd pass on this place completely. The servers are nice but service is extremely slow. They have a DJ on certain days and the music can be loud. This isn't my favorite place but the oysters are really good. Also make sure you understand the specials before ordering bc the bill may look different than expected.

The food and drinks here are bomb !!! The service was great by our waitress and assisting waitresses. It was a fun time. We loved the music. We had a great time celebrating my bfs birthday. I didn't give a 5-star rating because it wasn't a perfect visit. I am not sure how long they have been open but some things need to be worked on. This place gets a lot of business, I hope they can work on the parking arrangement. Be aware that it doesn't look like a restaurant from the street. Be prepared to wait if your entire party is not present at the time of seating. I recommend making a reservation and asking to be seated inside if it is hot out. The inside is way prettier than the outside also. The food was served hot i absolutely loved that.

The food at Coasis Restaurant & Bar is really really good. The service is the best. Our waitress Princess was so accommodating and helpful. I love the ambiance of Coasis as it is so relaxing and the DJ plays awesome music. My favorite is the honey hot chicken wings. Stop by and give a Coasis a visit, you won't be disappointed!

Nice place, definitely loved what they did to a regular home and how they gutted it into a restaurant. What could have definitely gone better is the level of the music. I couldn't even be in proximity. I really hear my friends talk unless I got close and raised my voice. Also, the waitress was quite busy. She only checked on us but so many times and seemingly we had to go find her for items that we needed. She's was very nice however. however, the food was quite delicious, no one complained about the quality of the meals so that was a win. The RSVP portion though was a bit different. They needed you to put a car down, and if you needed to make any alterations to your reservations , then you had to text the number and then they made the changes manually. They didn't even respond to let me know this until I checked in the app myself. The communication was unnecessarily the greatest. The final part that was a bit annoying, annoying while sitting outside and having to deal with a bunch of flies that come around because of all the sugary items on the table. Very frustrating. I would go back again because the atmosphere is lively, but that would be just about it.

Truffle Fries SO good!

Hey y'all! Now this place made me happy! Just as a reference, a friend and I went on a weekday right when they opened at 4PM; so we got to experience the Happy Hour. Now, I'll be honest, the Happy Hour prices are the "BEST" to me. $2 a wing with a 6 wing minimum is hardly happy hour, but the we ordered them anyways and they were really good. I requested that they cook them well done and they were perfect! We ordered a few others things: the truffle fries, the catfish nuggets, the asian shrimp and the oysters and a few drinks. Those CATFISH NUGGETS need to be what they advertise more because they were SO good! Cooked to perfection, served with some kind of sauce and I got a side of hot sauce and BABY these are it! We ordered (2) orders and an order to go! The Oysters as well made me happy! I'm only a part-time oyster-eater. I don't like them when they're big and in season. So these were perfect and seasoned very well. My friend said they were a little salty to her, but they were great to me! The Asian shrimp weren't my favorite, but I'm also not a big shrimp eater. They were good though. Not to mention the service was fast, but again, we were the only people there for a while. The DRINKS! Yes! The lemon drop was perfect and typically my go-to drink, but I would actually recommend those Margaritas! They were nice and strong. One or two and it's a good time! Being a Tampa native, I'm familiar to the area so I was skeptical until I arrived. They've done a good job to make you forget where you're at LOL. The decor is really fun and nice. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Now the parking is sort of non-existent so LUCKILY we got there right at open and there were NO cars there. I'd advise carpooling or maybe even Uber because I don't know where else one would park. Lastly, I'm NOT a fan of the 20% automatic gratuity which added like an additional $30 to the tab PLUS tax PLUS tip, but it is what it is. Based on this experience, I WOULD definitely go back.

I reached out while planning a proposal to my now fiancée at the nearby park, hoping to arrange a small photo shoot area with champagne before dinner. After one quick email, the General Manager personally called me and spent time talking through ideas and helping make the evening special. Even with that conversation, I was completely unprepared for just how extraordinary they made everything. When we arrived, we followed a trail of rose petals to a beautifully decorated private table waiting for us with flowers, a handwritten card, champagne, and glasses already set. It honestly felt like something out of a movie. The attention to detail and genuine care from the entire team was unbelievable. The manager working that evening and our server were both absolutely wonderful -- warm, attentive, and sincerely excited for us. And on top of all of that, the food was phenomenal as always. I'm still in awe of how special Ulele made the night feel. I truly cannot imagine a better place to have proposed. This restaurant will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for many anniversaries and celebrations to come. Highly, highly recommend.

I went on a Sunday and had the best experience. The ambiance was beautiful--everything was clean, the noise level was not loud at all, and I loved the lighting and overall atmosphere of the open-concept space. It felt comfortable, elevated, and easy to enjoy a full meal without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. Our server was training someone, but you couldn't even tell--it was so professional. One thing I noticed was how many people work there, and I really hope it stays that way. Each staff member had a specific role, and it made the entire service feel seamless. There was no rushing and no stress on the servers. You could tell they really enjoyed what they were doing. They also offer complimentary valet, and you can even Venmo a tip, which made arrival and departure super easy. At the end of our meal, someone even came to box up our food for us--we didn't have to do it ourselves. Very old school NY!!! Top-tier service. As for the food: the oysters we had were flavorful, and the garlic bread selection was soft and not overly heavy on the garlic. My friend ordered the scallops with risotto and crispy prosciutto, and I ordered the special chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti in a lemon sauce that they suggested. I was in the mood for a lemon-flavored pasta, and they absolutely delivered. Both plates were phenomenal. I wish they had a place like this in Orlando. I also wish the chicken parm would always be a special because that sauce was delicious. Growing up in Brooklyn, I've had some really good Italian food--and I would absolutely come back here. I'd give service five stars and food five stars. Thank you for a great meal--you did not disappoint.

We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that.
