He's been so good to me and wonderful in helping make great decisions. He's counseled me on weight to blood pressure and made sure medical issues are all good and done. I so respect and appreciate Dr. Lowenstein for his wonderful medical knowledge, sober reminder of making good choices and basically his friendship. We've been known to share vacation locations and his knowledge of Alaska is fabulous. If you're looking for somebody to kiss your ass--keep looking. Either I get rescheduled and not enough medication to make it to their next convenience or they screw up rye amount getting sent over to the pharmacy, causing me trouble have to call them every quarter to call I more to get me by. Basically, I'm saying the lights are on but nobody is home. I'm sad to give this rating as a 1 because I feel Lokale personally deserves a 4-5 star rating. We absolutely did not have the same experience as the person who gave him a bad review. Please remember that some people love to complain. His nurse called and put him on the phone with me and this guy become so defensive and rude and all but called me a lier even tho I was quite polite w him. When I sent him a screenshot he did not call me back and apologize as he said he would. I got a half-assed apology a few days later in an email saying it was not seen on his end. BUT he wrote me up on my Medical records (IN ALL CAPS) for all to see as if I was somehow in the wrong for questioning why it was never discussed as a health issue, obviously to cover his own ass. His notes on my Records are very unprofessional and obviously written in anger which says alot. THESE NOTES NEED TO BE REMOVED.

I love the new office on El Dorado - alot more personable, quieter - and the staff isn't as "flighty" as the other office was - no being ignored while trying to make an appt as they were discussing last nights date or party (other office). Dr. Bohay is TOP OF THE LINE IN KNOWLEDGE, PROFESSIONALISM and Kindness. Luckily he is my age so that he won't be retiring "early" and I can still utilize his services.

After not hearing anything back for a week... I called and left several messages... also sent a message after TWO weeks via the patient portal... I received no contact back at all... ever. I finally gave up and moved on to a PCP that was not totally disorganized and uncaring... the worst practice I have ever had the misfortune to come into contact with!

She gave me Azithromiacin and took a chest xray. She told me he would see the results and contact me. The next day I saw the xray came back PNEUMONIA, BOTH LOWER LOBES. I assumed Dr Martinez would call me because I wasn't doing any better. I left a message, and I couldn't get a response from him.But a young, under qualified "assistant " i told me to let them know in three days if I didn't feel any better. Lucky for me, I knew something was terribly wrong, and then so we went immediately to the ER. The PNEUMONIA had set off SEVERE AFIB. My heart rate was 180 bpm for FIVE DAYS! EIGHT PEOPLE we're waiting on me in the ar trying to and they were working out those deep make sure I didn't die. Not ONE WORD from a Martinez!! I ended up with TWO CARDIOVERSIONS & have to wear a cardiovest for THREE MONTHS! I'm taking MANY DRUGS to let's try and keep my heart at a proper rhythm. I NOW HAVE HEART DAMAGE! Overall, I think Dr Martinez has gotten arrogant. He and his wife are involved in real estate investments. Maybe he should just skip being a doctor before someone not as lucky as me, DIES!
