I apologize to those that have given this spot a 5 star review. As a result of these rave reviews, I was excited to grab a big, awesome breakfast. I miss having a diner that's super close to home with an outstanding breakfast/brunch offering and reasonable pricing. Over The Moon in Schuylerville was my go-to spot and I haven't replaced them since they shut down. If I were being completely honest, my experience here was actually closer to 2 or 2.5 stars. Service was great and everyone was friendly. They clearly work very, very hard. But most of the food was served lukewarm and cold-ish. The potatoes were burnt...and I like mine well done....but I couldn't even get my fork through some of them. Burnt yet cold...not a great combination. Same with my breakfast burrito...the cheese was only partially melted and it just wasn't hot. Coffee was strong. Plenty of half and half on the table. The other breakfast was also "meh" and not quite hot, either. Giving them the benefit of the doubt; perhaps I just hit them on an off day. read more

This owner no longer has a "brick and mortar" location, and has gone on the road with a food truck. He splits his day between two locations, both locally, check his Facebook posts daily for location and menu items. The food is fresh, well prepared and made to order. I've had breakfast and lunch from this venture and love the concept. Villa fried bread dough with butter and cinnamon sugar is a rare treat to find. Great burgers and breakfast sandwiches to go!!!! They used to have an establishement on route 9 in South Glens Falls and now they have a food truck that makes if not, better food than the restaurant. All the information can be located on Facebook, and it even tells you where they're going to be example Thursday nights is the food truck corral at the shirt factory in glens Falls... On Saturdays he is at the Chase/epic building in South Falls right by the Fennimore bridge. But sometimes the location may change... Still has great specials prices can't be beat everything is made fresh right there and you can call ahead and place an order so that's ready when you get there. read more

If you like sports memorabilia, this is the place for you. If you DO NOT but still like friendly staff, GREAT (!) coffee and supporting a small local business this is definitely the place to come. It's very unassuming upon approach, it sort of looks like a house but once inside you'll be delighted. Sporting plenty of comfort food fare and smiles, you're sure to leave here wanting for naught. Tried Coach's for the first time today. It's a great local place. Everyone knew each other. I ordered a 3 egg veggie omelette which was full of good veggies. The options were plenty and the service was great. My friend ordered sausage links and bacon sides which he said were both great. He also recommends the villa bread. They do accept credit/debit cards. read more

Do you love pancakes as much as I do? Well then you've come to the right place!!! Ask the handsome owner named Jack to make you a delicious stack of cinnamon swirl pancakes. These things will melt in your mouth and you won't even use syrup. Perfect grilled to perfection, these pancakes go perfect with a nice side of locally made breakfast sausage. There is not a bad thing on this menu, eggs, hash, sausage gravy it's all good baby! Lastly ask the owner what big Snacks would get if he was sitting down. Snacks is a local football legend who has been known to love everything on this menu. If you start talking to him, he's not going to let you leave without a good story from his playing days. We are loving this place. Just passing through on our way to Quebec and stopped in for breakfast. The food was... Great. Exactly what one expects from a breakfast and lunch place. Super friendly. Great diner with real home fries and homemade corned beef hash that was perfectly seasoned. Good service, smooth coffee and a great decor with local sports photos and memorabila. We would definitely come back here. read more
