OMG! I just did a random search and sure enough, a review for COACHELLA!!!!!!
WOOHOO!!!!
This is my third year to the festivities!!!
You are in the desert EXPECT the HEAT!
Imagine 60,000+ people trying to get there, CARS galore!
It took us about 1 1/2 hours to get to the parking. We were already in Indio but to get to the parking lot was a mess! Make sure your air condition works in your car and pack your car with liquids! You will need it!
You can't bring your drinks into the venue but there are a lot of vendors inside. A little overpriced but what do you expect? Have you ever gone to a concert where the prices of drinks were on the cheap side? Nope, always overpriced!
There is a lot of different food choices though.
Backpacks are allowed. So make sure you pack your bags with necessities. Me, the main thing, camera, wallet, antibacterial wipes and "energy bars". Oh wait an extra tank or shirt! Remember you are in the desert!!!
Though the line ups are becoming a little more main stream (but you can chose what you see, just hop around to the different tents), you will still see me more going back for more. I have no idea what brings me back (I bitch a lot) but it is worth every hardship to get there! Just make sure you go with someone you can have fun with! I always do! :)
Oh make sure you are comfortable. Feet, body and mind!!!
I think next year I will dress in my pajama's with my work out shoes. I may look weird but at least I will be comfortable! Heck everyone looks weird there! Anything and everything goes!
Here is a taste of what the line ups were like in the past years I attended!
