First year Coachella goer! It was really super duper fun! I had the best time listening to my favorite artists, getting freebies, and photo ops. It's a little pricey but worth every penny. If you don't care about celebrities and influencers, I recommend weekend 2.

Day Zero to Day Three of Coachella and Car Camping. There's so much activities to do here for the weekend. From the Camping Hub, Food Vendors, Freebies, Music and more. I have to say that with the good comes with the work to have fun. Tennis shoes is a must, you'll be doing more than 10k a day and accumulating a few blisters if you don't wear the right shoes. It's pretty dusty out here so you should wear a mask or rag to not breathe in so much cuz you'll surely have the desert all up in your nose. The food is of festival prices so yes you'll be spending $15 on a grilled cheese or $27 on a burrito. Good thing water is reasonable priced $2 or free if you don't mind the water refill station. If you decide to camp, Day Zero which is a Thursday is when people decide to come to get parking as close as possible to the main entrance of the venue. There are free showers and porta-pottys where it's cleanest in the morning. A bag of ice is about $14. It is all ages so people do bring their children but I would say majority of the population are those in their 20s and 30s. I was kind of a wreck on what to wear for three days let alone one day. The heat is pretty wild during peak hours but once sunset, it feels nice but thats when alot of dust blows in. It's not even that cold but windy so a windbreaker type jacket is ideal. Instead of wrapping yourself in that silver sheet that's suppose to insulate but really it's just to block out the wind. My friends are regular festival goers and said it was pretty busy this year. I mean even as a millennial here. I knew no new songs but sang when the "oldies" played. Coachella is definitely for those in their prime. Lol. It is fun but three days of walking nonstop got my calves all stiff and experiencing muscle spasms. I think if it were me a decade ago i would do it again next year but now, just a check off my bucket list. Thanks Coachella, it was fun but I'll leave ya to the young and restless.

    Goo goo for Gaga!

Coachella!!~ First and best weekend II 2025 Coachella ever!! Lady Gaga was by far my favorite performance (even though I was vertically challenged & couldn't see most of her performance, her set was nothing less of magical!!). She killed it! Other amazing performers were Benson Boone, Green Day & Zedd. Shaboozey, Beabadoobee, Jennie, Le Youth, Missy Elliott, T-pain & Boris Brejcha surprisingly rocked it! Would've been nice to be able to see a lot more bands, as there were tons that we didn't see, but we definitely saw what we came to see and more, so can't complain! My one big complaint and mistake would be purchasing VIP wrist bands. For the amount that I paid, VIP was not worth the big price tag at all. The only thing VIP offered was a few shaded areas, a fairly large area with it's separate food and drink vendors, and some bathrooms inside the area designated for VIPs (the bathrooms were no different than the bathrooms in the GA areas) so, other than some shade and a segregated area, nothing special at all! It's really sad that getting the VIP pass didn't get you any closer to the performers. In fact, if you stayed in the VIP section for EVERY performance, you're actually FARTHER away from the stage! If you can some how score an artist guest pass, you're golden! This pass will allow you into the coveted guest viewing area, which is much closer to the stage and artists!! Food was the same'ol pricey festival food. Anywhere from $18-$26 for a meal, so come prepared to fork out dem $$$!! Food portions were not extremely tiny, but definitely small for what you pay. The short-rib tator tots from Something Good LA and the Neapolitan pepperoni pizza from Ronan were my two fav dishes. Drinks were pretty good! Generally around $19-$23. My fav was the Codigo Classic Margarita! The empire polo club grounds are ginormous! If don't like walking, then you'll have to fake your disability somehow and get a wheelchair, otherwise, you gotta walk til you drop! Honestly, walking wasn't all THAT bad, it was the standing that killed me! WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES AT ALL COSTS!! Premadonnas will pay dearly!! We stayed at Indian Waters RV resort, a few miles away from Coachella, and biked to and from Coachella daily. This was one of the best decisions we made to avoid high Uber/Lyft fees and traffic!! Overall, if you've never done Coachella, it's a must, but it's definitely not a yearly thing for me!

I've been coming to Coachella since 2019 and I will never get sick of this place ! I feel like I will continue to come to this event til I'm a grandma LOLLL There's a huge variety of music to listen to here which is the beauty of Coachella :-) I also love exploring and discovering new artists I never listened to before. Another plus is food is always SOOO good here ! I've never had a bad experience here and always try to get people to come; it's a unique festival experience that most ppl love

I was curious to see if Coachella had an official Yelp, and I can review my experience as I've gone twice in 2019 and for Weekend One, Sunday 2024. In 2019, I went all three days and had the best first festival experience. I could say the same for 2024. Numbers have gone down as I've noticed huge gaps towards the front of main Coachella stage when Doja Cat was headlining. The open space allows so much walking space and room to relax, the vibes from people were overall friendly and polite. Stages are easy to find, information booths were set up to where we can see them, and plenty of water stations were nearby to refill out bottles this year. Although I only knew a few headliners, they always tend to surprise me with featured artists and I rediscover old music that I have forgotten about. My biggest con is that both times, staff members directing traffic and security are not reliable for directions to the parking lots. We did day parking and remembered the lot where we parked and were able to find our car easily, however, one misleading direction of the exit led to another and the closed off streets and misdirection from the staff made what should have been a 20-minute walk turn into an HOUR walk. I strongly feel like more maps or more training on the lots could help improve those who don't go to Coachella or first timers. Yes, my feet hurt incredibly bad the next day, however, I would do it all again. I haven't been to my fair share of big festivals yet, but Coachella has to be one of my favorite ones so far.

It's Coachella, is there really anything else that needs to convince you to experience it? One caveat, which I don't understand why people don't abide by is to wear comfortable shoes. You can literally walk over 10 miles a day. If you don't get blisters wearing tall/clunky shoes, please let me know your secret!!

I did in fact return to the desert in 2023. After going one year, you get the hang of how to survive a 3 day bender like Coachella. It starts with Day 0 (Thursday): you and your crew pull up to the desert. You fly, drive, whatever it is... you mentally and physically prep for the BENDER. You pregame until you look at the clock and someone responsible in the group initiates going to bed since Day 1 is tomorrow. Day 1-3: Good luck. Survival of the fittest. Put your sexiest outfits on, apply sunblock, hydrate more than you are barely doing, pack all the essentials to survive the festival. Day 4: Begin rotting. Return back to the daily schedule program. I love this festival. So many memories happen here. 2024?

Coachelalalala, where o where do I even start. Senior year of high school, I went to my first ever music festival, which happened to be Coachella, and have returned every year the event has happened since. People will complain about the lines, or the trash, or the artists coming on late. But at the end of the day, this is a music festival and those negatives inherently come with any large music event. For the amount of people that flock to Indio each year, Coachella does a pretty good job at keeping things relatively smooth for its festival goers. Things to note: 1) I usually go with an Airbnb during the weekend. You can choose to camp on festival grounds, which is still a great time, but it really comes down to how clean and comfortable you want to be for 3 days. 2) I personally don't go into the grounds too too early, I find the intense heat to burn you out pretty quickly and you are more likely to last longer if you enter later afternoon 3) Bring a camelback backpack!! It's a lifesaver because it makes water accessible whenever and wherever you are, if you are hydrated you will be 100x happier 4) It's a festival so food will be expensive! Go into the weekend knowing that, eat more beforehand, and then you will be less likely to be upset when you see prices

Oh, Coachella. How I have so many memories with you. I'll never forget my first Coachella in 2012 (definitely dating myself) and all the years in between now including this past year (2022). I still cannot believe it's been 10 years since my first Coachella! I have discovered so many bands through this festival, and while yes, this festival has changed a lot, it's still so much fun. People of all ages can come and enjoy themselves here. It can be a pretentious event, especially with Weekend 1 being very influencer heavy, but as long as you're with your friends and are in it for the music you won't have a bad time. I HIGHLY recommend bringing a gaiter or a bandana of some sort as it can get extremely dusty.

    GUESS compound was the best.

Impulse trip last weekend. 04/22/2023 My friend hooked me up with VIP treatment and we even went to the Guess (clothing) party. FUN-FUN-FUN. The lineup was pretty amazing. Chemical Brothers, Blondie, Idris Elba, Labrinth, and did I mention Blink-182? My favorites. Make sure Coachella is on your bucket list. I was thrilled to enjoy the amenities set up by the clothing company, GUESS, had a blast at their compound (pre & post).

If you see Cena Vegan, their big burrito is a must get. Easy to eat while going in between stages. And they are super quick. Happy Munchies, @aVeganAndHer

We entered on foot through Santa's Workshop. When we left after 12 noon, Santa himself was there. The first thing we did was visited all the sponsor tables where we picked up swag. College of the Desert had some nice items - stress ball, lip balm, highlighters, etc. Then it was tamale time. Which vendor? Sis and I lined up at the longest line one. We waited about 1/2 hour but spoke to a couple ahead of us who told us which vendors they enjoyed. The longest line was Casa De Silvia. I heard snatches of people's conversations about the chili relleno tamale. When I got up to the order counter I ordered it plus chicken in green sauce and pork in red. The chili relleno tamale lived up to its reputation. Very good. Filled with cheese and chopped green poblano stuffed. Yummy. Later I got a pineapple tamale from The Tamale Fiesta booth. Said came with pineapple pieces. I didn't see any in mine. There's an eating area with canopies that offered much needed shade. We ate our tamales there. Hubby & I made an observation - there seemed to be less tamale vendors than in the past. But the ones that participated offered delicious tamales. We did a complete circle of the festival. We tried many tamales and were disappointed in most of them. Barely took any home to freeze for later. We drive from Riverside every year but probably won't go for 2026. Leaving this review I understand my circumstances are different than some and their complaints I can't speak to per se. I didn't need to take a shuttle, I expect food to be pricy so I eat beforehand (almost every venue or festival for music I've been to the food is not priced at a normal rate), I wasn't camping here, and I don't expect a festival or their staff to somehow be able to control desert weather?! Some of these complaints on here are weird. lol. Their experiences are valid but also a lot of these things with better planning or some sense could likely be mitigated, at least that's how I felt after reading them. Maybe I am just too logical? The polo grounds are great, large enough to accommodate these massive crowds and it's a good location as it neighbors La Quinta, Indio, and Coachella giving you variety of areas you could stay if you are traveling. I'm impressed with how many parking lots they have here and with 80,000 people attending I'm not sure how people wouldn't think there would be some walking involved? You can't get that many people and their vehicles, shuttles, and alternative rides all close enough to park and just walk right into a venue. I felt their parking setup was pretty successful if you brought your own car but I understand the shuttles had massive lines and that's unfortunate. I feel like overall the staff are very friendly and nice here. These festivals bring jobs to the community and while you definitely get a variety of workers from all walks of life, I felt my interactions were 98% very positive. So many staff just with a smile on their faces, asking you to get home safe, and thanking you for coming as you walk out, that's a nice touch. I saw staff everywhere I turned and they seemed to have a good handle on things between the security, vendors, and even trash cleanup crews I felt they did a good job. The lineup this year was really great, some hits and misses as will happen but for the most part I was impressed with the headliners. My personal opinion was that Post Malone and Morgan Wallen were some of the best this year, brought good energy and the sound came across really good on my end. I loved the merch options and the ability to buy items ahead of time. The app for the phone was also super handy and I like the organization it helps create when planning your trip. Lastly, the VIP and upgraded wristbands were a must in my opinion. Worth the money I felt as you had better access to restrooms, food stalls, drinks, and of course close to the stage and more room. Stagecoach was great, definitely a music festival worth coming to 100%.

The Coachella Valley Invitational Tournament is pre-season soccer for men (MLS) and women (NWSL), played at the Empire Polo Club in February each year. We have visited Palm Desert for many years, and have visited before and after the tournament the past couple years, but have missed attending; thankfully schedules aligned this year. After watching previous games on YouTube, this year we got to be there in person! The tournament's site offers some challenges on finding General Admission tickets; after some time we found that the Los Angeles Galaxy (LAG) were managing the tickets; a quick call with Miguel, who was very helpful, and we soon had our tickets in the app ready to be there for the soccer. Thanks, Miguel!! Parking for soccer was easy to find based on the online map and following the signs. For food, under the semi-permanent tent they have food trucks and an open bar. Here is little shade on the fields; some palm trees in the corners offer a place to cool off; otherwise if the skies are clear, the Palm Desert sun will provide copious doses of Vitamin D to lift your spirits. DJ Alf Alpha provided dance tubes all day and there were various soccer skills for fans to participate in. Even when the weather is not as nice as it was for us, this is still a great facility, with low humidity. Fun fact... the Salton Sea is the second lowest point in the US, after Badwater Basin / Death Valley; if I calculated correctly, the Empire Polo Club elevation is 5-20 feet. Thank you to everyone who makes the Coachella Valley Invitational possible! As Major League Soccer transitions its season to match the rest of the world, and to spread across two years, but no soccer in cold Jan/Fen nor hot July/Aug, we hope you'll continue the tournament as a mid-season break tourney. ----- ----- -----
