Been coming here for years whenever I need a quick pick-me-up and only a new handbag will do! The bags and other items at the Coach Outlet are made specifically for the outlet, so the quality is not on par with the items at the flagship stores, but neither is the price. Both are lower, which is why I'm here. Even though I shop here pretty regularly, I have two major complaints. The high pressure sales and the cumbersome and deliberately complicated pricing scheme. Yes a pricing scheme, not a pricing structure. In the past, as soon as you walked in, you were bombarded with sales clerks giving you coupons, telling you about the sale of the day, and asking what you were looking for. All of that turns me off! Too high pressure. Give me space. Let me breathe. Good news!! They have changed their style! Now, just one person is by the front door and simply welcomes you in. So much better! If I need a personal shopper, I will ask for assistance. The other annoyance was the complicated pricing system designed so that you needed a calculator to determine the actual cost. I'm not kidding, they would give you a calculator! It was a major challenge and I'm a wiz at math! Discounts on top of discounts that differed on every item. Ridiculous. Just tell me the gosh darn price! We already know this is an outlet and there will be deals. And not one of us believes this tiny purse of low quality was ever priced at $398 and it just happens to be my lucky day so I can purchase it for $89. Seriously, just put the dang price on the bag. Well, more good news! They now have a scan code on a sign that you scan into your phone. This enables you to scan any barcode on any item to see the actual price. Not what it originally was or what it was first discounted to. The price you actually pay! Hallelujah! Finally Coach has moved forward with the times and stopped selling handbags like we are buying them off an infomercial at 3am. Along with 2 Ginzo knives! Now that the rant is over, there were lots of nicely styled bags available in a variety of price ranges. Nothing that I had to have, and that's ok. But what I did need was some LOVE. We are nearing Valentine's Day so they had a display of bags in Valentine's Red or pink or with hearts. Plus a few bags in their signature brown print with LOVE emblazoned in a 70s style script in shades of Orange. And a tag of the same that you can clip onto a pony bag and adorn it in LOVE. That's what I bought! For about $25, I bought me some much needed LOVE and I'm super happy with my purchase. Thanks again, Coach, for listening to your customers and making much needed improvements to reduce the high pressure sales and make it easy for customers to figure out the price. This review is more about the quality of product that the Coach outlet sells as opposed to the staff and layout. We made a special trip from Vancouver Washington to this store to buy some Coach products at their low prices. The age old saying "you get what you pay for" cannot be more true than the Coach outlet. Upon entering the store we were very happy, the layout was wonderful, and the employees were very nice. We started looking at the products for sales with excitement. However, our excitement quickly sank into irritation and disbelief that the products sold at the Coach outlet store are not the same quality that you can buy at the normal Coach stores. We only evaluated the men's products for sale so I cannot comment on women's products sold there. The first issue we noticed was that certain items had price tags much higher than Coach's normal website or mall shops selling "similar items". For instance a shirt that would be between $95-$120 had a price tag of $150. Yes there was a discount bringing it down to $60 but why is the original price point higher at the outlet. A single strap shoulder backpack for men of a much higher quality at the normal Coach store is $350, at the outlet the price was $550, then 75% off. There is a huge quality difference in every item we though about buying so much that what we went there for, we ended up not buying. My son did pick out a belt bag, but after we left the store, within 10 minutes he decided to return it because the quality was clearly low, as well as we noticed a severe flaw in the design of the strap. It is almost like the company is selling close to knock off items, with their name on it. I asked an associate if the quality was different at the outlet store versus the actual Coach store. He said "they are the same quality exactly aside from the emblem." Outlet store Coach emblems just have the word "Coach" as opposed to normal Coach items have the horse and carriage also. If you want to buy some cheaply made and cheaply looking "Coach" items, this place is for you. If you want actual Coach quality, visit an actual retail store and pay the difference for superior quality, material and workmanship. There are "some" good things to buy there, but the majority of bags are very close to being poorly made imposters. read more

Every year for my wedding anniversary, I get a new Coach handbag from my husband! Clearly I picked a good man. Lol. We go shopping in this store quite often. I've always enjoyed this location. The employees are super helpful. If I'm not sure what I want, they leave me to browse, and if I want a specific look or style of handbag, they'll help me find it. The store has a great selection of handbags, wallets, shoes and accessories. I love it. It's rare I don't find something I love. They've even got men's accessories. My absolute favorite thing about Coach and why I'm willing to spend so much money on their products is the durability. Even my husband can't tear their stuff up! He used to go through wallets and belts like nobody's business. Until I bought him a Coach belt and wallet. So now, not only does he look good (he's the envy of all the girls and gay boy at work, which they all notice when he's got new Coach attire) but he's got lasting products that I don't have to constantly replace. If they made men's sneakers, I'd buy stock in the company! Lol. It's a store we absolutely have to visit every time we are at the outlet mall. The only thing I have to say is that for the size of the store, it can get very crowded. So if you go in on a busy day, be prepared for bumping into people. read more

Let me just start by saying, I used to manage a customer service call center. I know what goes on, and I GET IT. But my goodness, my recent experience was nothing short of a straight up scam and I have no clue how Coach, a once respected company, can operate this way. Here are the facts and timeline of my experience: July 29th - I placed my order online for two items. August 10th - My order arrived. August 11th - I decided to return one item as it was much larger than it looked online and had a huge belt buckle on it which was not in the photo at all (the size of a seat belt buckle). When I reached out to Coach, Amanda replied, "I am very sorry that your bag arrived damaged", wait, what? It didn't arrive damaged, but ok. So Amanda sent me an email with a shipping label except the shipping label wasn't attached. I let her know this. This was just the beginning of a long, very mind numbing experience. Fed up at this point, I decide I'll return it in person at the Coach Outlet store, which is a 45 minute drive away from me. I get to the Coach Outlet store, after a 45 minute drive, and it is CLOSED FOR TWO DAYS with a note on the door saying they would be back after two days. This sucked. August 13th - I finally received the shipping label, but the link doesn't work. August 14th - I had a planned trip and didn't return until August 28th. Worried about the return deadline, I called Coach. This time, the person was really helpful. They sent me a QR code for UPS to scan and told me NOT TO WORRY - because the order just needs to be shipped within 30 days, but they allow wiggle room so it doesn't need to arrive to them in 30 days. I thought that that made sense, since I have no control over shipping times, both after I place my order and after I send my return. Neither of those things should be the customer's fault. Most reputable companies have this policy. So, okay, cool. August 29th - I ship my item to Coach. Note, this is within my 30-day return window. September 6th - I get an email from Coach that they have received my return. September 21th - With no refund in sight, I reached out via chat asking what the status was. Joedy replied, "Your return was received on 9/6 and will be processed within 24-48 business hours." To which I asked, 24-48 hours from today (9/21) or was it supposed to be 24-48 hours from 9/6? Because that passed a long time ago. September 28th - Still no return, I once again asked what the status was. Keshara replied, "A credit to your original method of payment has been processed as of 9/15/2022, in the amount of $175.00. Please allow 3-5 business days for this transaction to appear on your account. I do see you used Paypal as a method which means it does take additional days to process." See the issues here already? I've already been quoted multiple dates. Why didn't Joedy say my refund was processed when I reached out on the 21st? That was after the 15th. I asked about that and someone named Ameina replied that Coach has been having issues with PayPal, and since I paid with Paypal, I should reach out to them. October 2nd - I reached out to PayPal. PayPal states that there are NO ISSUES ON THEIR END with Coach, and provides me a transaction ID to give to Coach for the refund. I then promptly sent Coach a screenshot of my chat with PayPal. It's been over a month now since I shipped my item with no refund. Jodi from Coach tells me, "We have escalated this to the correct department and you should receive confirmation of refund in the next 24-48 hours". October 3rd - I wake up to an email from Coach stating that I have sent myself an E GIFT CARD for the price of my returned item, $175. I'm speechless at this point. After a month of back and forth, being told different information, a store being closed, I am sent an e gift card? Nope. Not Cool Coach, that was not what I was told repeatedly, as I highlighted in bold above. I sent another email. Got Keshara again who said, "Unfortunately, the item was returned after a 30-day return policy timeframe, and can only be issued a merchandise credit in the amount of the item or an exchange." This was NEVER mentioned before. I was told it was okay to ship within 30 days, I even tried to return in person and the store was closed for two days straight, and was told I'd be getting a refund, to my PayPal, which according to Keshara was "processed on 9/15/22". How can a refund be processed then I get an e-gift card? That's sketchy! So I called customer service and I am so sorry to say this, but the person I spoke with either didn't care, was distracted, or couldn't understand the situation. They were nice but... slow. However, they told me they could see my email correspondence with the previous representatives and they say they will escalate me to a supervisor, Hazel. After waiting, no joke, an HOUR AND 15 MINUTES on hold, I hear "Hi this is Hazel who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?" then the phone disconnects. read more

Came to Portland for a short visit and decided to do some shopping here at the outlet. I love coach so I had to stop by. This is a very busy store and every associate was busy helping other customers. There's a lady standing by the door passing out coupons, just like all other Coach outlet stores. I walked around the store undisturbed and found a crossbody bag that would be nice for traveling. Waited in line and paid for my bag all within 15 mins. I'm a fast shopper. I see, I get, I pay... Overall, the store is clean. People are friendlier than the Michael Kors store. Even though nobody helped me, I can understand they are busy helping other customers. I like not being bothered and nobody following me around, but Coach felt more welcoming than my visit inside the MK store, therefore, Coach gets a 4 Star. I docked 1 star for a crowded store and not enough help. Felt a little chaotic there and if I needed help, it might have been difficult. Good thing I'm easy going! read more

This Coach store is clean, big, and well organized. While my wife browsed, I sat on one of their two cushioned benches. The seating was comfortable, and it makes for a nice spot for the hubbies and kiddos to wait while the girls shop. After about 20 minutes, my wife found something that she really liked. Regular price for the bag was $398. It was on sale for $119. Also, there was No Tax cause we were shopping in the great state of Oregon!! I think she found this buy in the Clearance section so it's a good area to check out. As for the staff, they were all fine. There were no crowds or lines during the time we were there. Chance of coming back here again are excellent the next time we're in Oregon. read more

I love Coach purses. I've always been a fan. I was equally surprised and pleased when there was an outlet store that opened in Woodburn. Quite by accident my bf drove us over to the mall one day after a bit of wine tasting. I walked in and it was a Saturday, the place was completely crowded. I was immediately handed a 20 percent off coupon. I thought that tears it, I'm going to have to buy something now. Well, I'm sure that's what they count on. There were many items that were attractive but it was a mad house in there so I settled on a wristlet and got it for the small sum of $27. Not too bad. I think the bf spent more in other stores while we were there. I'll be back but probably on a week day when it's not so crazy. read more

This is a complete fetish store for the wife. She is known in our town as the local Coach store herself as all of the mothers in the area are always asking what is the latest from Coach. This time we were able to get some accessories and I actually got myself a wallet. We of course are always treated well here, and with the discounts that come along, make the shopping here really affordable for high end merchandise. I can honestly say that I would never pay retail again knowing a store like this exists. Selection is not always the best, and it is pretty typical to have several buss loads of "out of towners" who buy as much as they can so they can resell it on Ebay. My wifie was looking for a certain size bag in a style and color and the sales rep walked her right over to a piece that was exactly what she wanted. We figured as easy as that was, let's try it again. My little 2 year old princess has a cute little hot pink coach purse, she we needed a matching clutch for her. It's a sweet deal when you get 60% off regular prices plus an additional 30% off clearance. Needless to say, the sweet deal means long lines at checkout. Extremely long lines. Bring a friend and have them stand in line for you. If they refuse, they are not your friend! For a while I thought it might develop into a type of Black Friday smash and grab but I think there's enough to go around for everyone. Bags are nicely displayed and in spite of the crowds, still seemed to be orderly. Chad, the greatest store attendant was very helpful and was so patient in spite of being bombarded by customer requests. There is also a small range of coats, scarves, belts and shoes. The man bags are displayed right as you enter the store and along the left side of the store. Checkout moved along fairly quickly and I'm learning to not use a long email address for my receipt. Like any checkout aisle, there's the impulse shopping temptation. No chocolate candy bars here, but lots of wallets, some for a mere $50. When I've cleared my closet, I'll be back for the other bags I couldn't take home this time around!! read more

I will not let this business could stand up. We wanted to support a business that deep down treat employees as an human being, respect the civil right, labor laws, and appreciate their effort. However, this coach business and management have not been doing that, instead violated the labor laws in Oregon. If you were abused there, please find legal justice. You are the human being, and you are deserved to be treated as human being. Don't put yourself down, or be afraid; we must fight back for our justice. People work there are required to wear professional uniform, the company doesn't provide any allowance for employees. They have changed a few dress code very quick. If a staff don't have money to buy whatever they wanted, he/she will be written up or giving a warning. Second, if the staff were sick like got injuries, and seeking the medical treatment. The management still insist them to work. If the employees can't perform the work schedule ( of course the managements knew, but still ignore), they must find other employees to cover their shift by themselves, the management never be responsible for this issue. That is ridiculousness manager's behavior. If the employees can't find somebody to cover the shift, they have to go to work in pain. If they don't the managers will write them up. You see guy, like I said if you were working there and been abused your emotion, work ability that is a violation of labor laws. You guy can find legal justice anytime and anywhere. You are absolutely deserved to be treated as human being. Start to treat yourself with respect guy. Be proud of yourself! Don't be afraid to do something justice. read more

I was there 12.28.17 by early evening. That manager named Jack was very disrespectful, I was video recording to promote and introduce about the discount and things they have in this particular store, that Jack walked to me accused me for live streaming which I didn't nor targeting on the shoppers, but I respected his request since he worked there so I turned it off immediately the entire phone shooting was less than 20 seconds. But what I am not happy about was he said things like, "I watched you do it last time, but I can't let you do it again", he made it out loud like a big deal and it seemed like he tried to impressed other shoppers or other employees in store, in fact I didn't even recognized this guy and he should already told me by the first time. I felt very insulted, and I spent about $3k on my previous visit around the memorial weekend 2017 but $0 this time after being bumped by the guy, however, I did bring people in on both time and they all made purchases. Still, the treatment was unbelievable. Many people from other places tried to show their friends in thousand miles away about the store so showing them the items and they can shop for them. If video taping not allowed, that Jack could put a sign says no video recording since there were other people phone shooting too (but he picked on me), or simply tell me videotaping isn't allowed here politely instead talked to me like disciplining a kindergarten, I could be even older than him though I look young. For the Coach upper division, he does not deserve that position and should have been fired. Other employees did well even I remember there was another female manager from last time, she was very polite and helpful (she wasn't there on 12.28.17) , but this guy ruined my entire experience shopping in this store. Very nice store. Lots of different styles displayed well and signed appropriately. All that and a greeter at the front and plenty of help milling around waiting to assist you makes this an easy place to shop and buy. The only problem is what to choose. So many great looks. Classic and modern and everything in between. There are a ton of shoppers in and out even on weekdays. Lots of people spending a ton. There is no sales tax in Oregon so that saves a few dineros as well. The outlet mall provides great parking and this place is easy to find. If you are in the market for a Coach, you can't beat this place for a splurge and a bargain. read more

My wife loves COACH a lot. I had gifted 2 bags worth more than 250$ from COACH for the last thanksgiving. This time, I got a gift from my friend, since i dint like it. I went to exchange it for different style for same price or different price. The bag had a tag, But still they weren't ready to accept it. They dint even try to scan the bag. Since I dint have the receipt she said they will take it as a return and will give a new one. Even though that item currently was 59$, they offered me 49$$$. I asked them why? they said some stories :-(. Then I called up my friend and told me to share the receipt and then she shared it. Once i showed the receipt they exchanged it. I have been to several of the Coach outlet locations through Oregon and Washington, and the Woodburn Coach outlet is, by far, the best! The selection is amazing for women between purses, wallets, large bags, footwear, and accessories. The mens line here is better than most, but still pretty limited. I ended up buying more, and leaving very happy due to the help I received from two associates in particular. Adriana and Chad could see I was a bit overwhelmed and went above the normal level of service most Coach stores offer. Chads level of knowledge of the products and aftercare for them helped me make the correct decision, and one I won't later regret. Adriana was the cashier, and she was very nice, and had great patience as she helped me narrow down my choices and discounts, and even pointed out a couple of variable combinations that allowed me to buy exactly what I wanted without having to skimp. Coach has great merchandise, but they are very smart and lucky to follow that up with great employees like Adriana and Chad! read more

I decided to venture out into the crazy "weekend before Christmas" shopping scene at the Woodburn Outlet. The Coach Store was an absolute madhouse! Remarkably, despite all the chaos, I must say they kept the store quite organized. Immediately upon entering, I received a 30% off coupon for anything in the store. I ended up buying a nice evening bag originally priced at $150.00 for only $50.00 after their sale and coupon... Not a bad deal :) The staff seemed very helpful, and despite the length of the line, I didn't have to wait very long to pay. I love purses. Big ones, small ones, shiny ones, soft ones, all of them. Ask my little boy- he'll tell you mama has a lot of purses. And being asian- I love a good deal too. I have bought 6 different purses here over the last few years, for my wife, mother, and mother in law. Each time the staff was friendly, courteous,and listened to what I wanted. The last time I was in I told the sales person I was buying 3 purses for family for Christmas, and I was on their email list but hadn't received any coupons for a while. She said lets see what we could do, she told the manager who wrote something down on a piece of paper came back with a code for an extra 25% off if I spent over 200$ which I was, it saved me a lot!! I have purchased Coach for about 15 years now, and have NEVER in my life been treated as rudely as I was at this outlet store. I buy Coach and expect to pay a few hundred dollars when I purchase a new purse. My Prior Coach bags have all lasted years, even with daily use. I took my bag that I had purchased less than 2 months prior, and it was shipped to me. I absolutely loved the bag until the studs stared falling out about a month in. Then I started to notice that the leather seemed to be showing wear. My Father has been hospitalized in ICU for about 6 months now, and during one of the few chances I get to run errands I stopped into this store to see if exchanging the purse was an option? The female staff was all friendly and smiling, but the Store Manager that was called from the back room (johnny) was absolutely awful. I left the store with a paper bag as my purse, as that was the only option johnny presented me with. He did not offer to repair the bag, or try to sell me another. Instead he told me that I could exchange it then (or return it) but after that I could no longer as this was my only chance. I don't know why it was (my only chance) but I was absolutely appalled by his poor service, I can't even really call it service. I also had $350 boats that I needed to exchange for a bigger size, that I still have not done as I'm not sure I want to keep buying the Coach brand.
