While Michael Kors styles seem to look the same season…read moreafter season, the other day they had several unique handbags using different materials giving the bags a very modern and edgy look. As with all of these designer stores, they put price tags at 4x the value and then use some ridiculously complicated discount plus coupon system to get you to the price, which is really the actual price every single day. Make it stop! No one is even remotely fooled by this! We all know that there are two product lines. One that goes to the flagship stores; and a line with lower quality materials and far less labor that is made specifically for the outlet stores. We are ok with that. Just put the actual price on the merchandise and people will buy it! I'm a whiz at math and I have to pull out the calculator on my phone to figure out that the overly priced belt bag listed at $398 is just $69. Or I have to track down an employee who then has to get a calculator and figure it out. Don't make your customers work this hard to buy your merchandise! OK, I feel a tiny bit better now. On to the actual store and merchandise. The store is very bright and white allowing the merchandise to stand out. Lots of black and white handbags with pops of the in season color making appearances here and there. They have a small amount of clothing, a case with Michael Kors watches, and even some jewelry. I really took my time checking everything out as I have several Michael Kors bags and many handbags in general. Some women love shoes; I fell hard for handbags as a tween and the love affair has never ended. On this day, a small, pale pink bucket bag called out to me and I answered. With its little handle and small size, it's the perfect bag when going out for Happy Hour or dinner, when all you are carrying is your smartphone, sunglasses and a lipstick. I tend to prefer small bags anyway and the color on this one is so soft, so sweet, I had to have it. After using my calculator, the $89 price point was doable, and since it's pink, I decided it would be a Valentine's gift from me, to me. There were lots of people working that day and hardly anyone in the store, but trying to track someone down for a calculator was a chore. They all seemed to be in their own world or chatting with each other like they were at a coffee shop, not at work. Michael Kors, you need to do better! I'm still going to buy a purse if I like the style and price point, but you need to focus on the entire customer experience and make sure it lives up to your Brand promise.

Both are lower, which is why I'm here. Even though I shop here pretty regularly, I have two major complaints. The high pressure sales and the cumbersome and deliberately complicated pricing scheme. Yes a pricing scheme, not a pricing structure. In the past, as soon as you walked in, you were bombarded with sales clerks giving you coupons, telling you about the sale of the day, and asking what you were looking for. All of that turns me off! Too high pressure. Give me space. Let me breathe. Good news!! They have changed their style! Now, just one person is by the front door and simply welcomes you in. So much better! If I need a personal shopper, I will ask for assistance. The other annoyance was the complicated pricing system designed so that you needed a calculator to determine the actual cost. I'm not kidding, they would give you a calculator! It was a major challenge and I'm a wiz at math! Discounts on top of discounts that differed on every item. Ridiculous. Just tell me the gosh darn price! We already know this is an outlet and there will be deals. And not one of us believes this tiny purse of low quality was ever priced at $398 and it just happens to be my lucky day so I can purchase it for $89. Seriously, just put the dang price on the bag. Well, more good news! They now have a scan code on a sign that you scan into your phone. This enables you to scan any barcode on any item to see the actual price. Not what it originally was or what it was first discounted to. The price you actually pay! Hallelujah! Finally Coach has moved forward with the times and stopped selling handbags like we are buying them off an infomercial at 3am. Along with 2 Ginzo knives! Now that the rant is over, there were lots of nicely styled bags available in a variety of price ranges. Nothing that I had to have, and that's ok. But what I did need was some LOVE. We are nearing Valentine's Day so they had a display of bags in Valentine's Red or pink or with hearts. Plus a few bags in their signature brown print with LOVE emblazoned in a 70s style script in shades of Orange. And a tag of the same that you can clip onto a pony bag and adorn it in LOVE. That's what I bought! For about $25, I bought me some much needed LOVE and I'm super happy with my purchase. Thanks again, Coach, for listening to your customers and making much needed improvements to reduce the high pressure sales and make it easy for customers to figure out the price. Price it right and they will buy, it's that simple.

This store is not different than most Cole Haan outlet stores. You have to start at the clearance rack in the back and work your way around. This store is good for finding items on the last offer. If you don't know what you are buying you might over pay. The brand is notorious for having a higher than normal retail value tagged on the shoe. The customer service is usually pretty on point here. The team will look up shoes at other locations and will have them shipped to you. Always stop in!!

My hubby is an employee at Nike and with his badge we were able to receive an additional 50%. They might as well have given me the store! I scored a bag, clutch and he got a pair of shoes! The bags retail was $400, we paid $75.00. Clutch retailed at $98.00 and we paid $20.00 (both matching of course) and he paid around $35.00 for a $150 pair. Can we say bargain!!!!
