If the review was based on the work alone, I would give 5 stars. She is a professional and she…read moreknows what she's doing. My dress came out very nice. The reason I'm leaving three stars is a couple things. 1. Friendliness really wasn't there. I'm a bride and I'm spending lots of money to have my gown altered. I did not receive a single compliment from the woman working on my dress. Never once asked me about my wedding or if I was getting excited. Proceeded to compliment other customers in front of me but not the bride. I was waiting cuz I thought well maybe on the last fitting she will....she did not. Finally on my second to last fitting a really kind red headed woman complimented my dress. Finally I felt like a bride. She deserves a raise..... I'm not sure if Zina treats all brides this way or just me.....even if you didn't like the dress you can still make small talk about other things. Especially when it comes to the biggest day of someone's life....... It is very intimidating to stand in front of a bunch of strangers in your wedding gown. It's even more intimidating when they don't say ONE SINGLE WORD about it. I was never offered water or anything. Other customers were. Again, I'm spending over 500 dollars so why am I not being treated like a BRIDE.... 2. When it came to payments, I made a few of them separate. She almost overcharged me by over 100 dollars!!! Thankfully my husbands card declined. Then I had her double check and she absolutely over charged me. She made a mistake. I get it , stuff happens. Maybe if I was treated a little kinder, I wouldn't have minded. But this is still sketchy and leaves me wondering if she overcharged me for other things. 180 dollars just to take in the top of my dress a bit. Seems crazy to me ..... Overall, they know what they are doing and they will get your dress right! However, if you are looking for a friendly bridal experience maybe not ...... it's just odd to me that someone who is recommended by a bridal shop (belle amour) would be so stand offish about someone's wedding.

Lo and behold they do not sell pajamas for women (which I am) in the store except at Christmas. They do have some for men! They had few sales and even at that I still found things to be too expensive. However the staff as usual-very pleasant and helpful.

My fiancé and I worked with Vice President Rachel Ovens to create the engagement ring of my dreams…read more I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she personally walked me through all the options for settings, bands, and diamonds. I wanted a cushion cut stone, so she was able to pull many different stones in my price range and I found one that I absolutely loved. The fact that I had to wait a few years for my fiancé to finally propose and receive my dream ring is beside the point. It was worth the wait! I live in California now, but she is still my jeweler of choice. Over the Christmas holiday I was in town and I came back to Rachel for a smaller project - shortening the chain of a delicate 14k gold necklace. She took the time to help me find the exact length I wanted it shortened and then she is shipping it back to me when it is completed. During that visit, I found a beautiful estate piece that I wanted to buy and use as my wedding band. It is a special, one of a kind piece that was thoughtfully curated for the store. That might be true, except if it is a defective product and is no longer carried, the customer is out of luck. I bought $250 worth of yarn for my church prayer shawl group. 2 of the skeins I wanted to return because the product did not knit well. I used half of one and did not try to return it. The fibers came untwisted and stretched where another color was inserted to make the confetti effect. They refused to take them other two back, because it is no longer carried. My guess is it was discontinued due to this problem! So instead of refunding $7 or allowing me to get 2 different skeins, they made an unhappy customer. Not exactly good for a store that professes Christian values. Michael's is right across the street!
