The reason I'm leaving three stars is a couple things. 1. Friendliness really wasn't there. I'm a bride and I'm spending lots of money to have my gown altered. I did not receive a single compliment from the woman working on my dress. Never once asked me about my wedding or if I was getting excited. Proceeded to compliment other customers in front of me but not the bride. I was waiting cuz I thought well maybe on the last fitting she will....she did not. Finally on my second to last fitting a really kind red headed woman complimented my dress. Finally I felt like a bride. She deserves a raise..... I'm not sure if Zina treats all brides this way or just me.....even if you didn't like the dress you can still make small talk about other things. Especially when it comes to the biggest day of someone's life....... It is very intimidating to stand in front of a bunch of strangers in your wedding gown. It's even more intimidating when they don't say ONE SINGLE WORD about it. I was never offered water or anything. Other customers were. Again, I'm spending over 500 dollars so why am I not being treated like a BRIDE.... 2. When it came to payments, I made a few of them separate. She almost overcharged me by over 100 dollars!!! Thankfully my husbands card declined. Then I had her double check and she absolutely over charged me. She made a mistake. I get it , stuff happens. Maybe if I was treated a little kinder, I wouldn't have minded. Overall, they know what they are doing and they will get your dress right! I had previously gone to another David's Bridal location in NE Ohio and I was less than impressed. The consultant brought me dresses that were nothing like what I asked for, and I felt very uncomfortable. It was not a pleasant experience at all. I left that store feeling like I would never find my dress. Because of that experience, I had been on the fence about trying another David's store, but I'm so glad that I did! I tried the first four on...Nope! Either too small too big too short or too ugly....Then thr 5th dress... It turned out fitting me perfect almost....creepy perfect it was a little beat up but supposedly never worn. They do alterations there and we'll fix the beads that were little loose and will accommodate me on my request to put straps on it. Not only did I find this perfect dress but I found the perfect shoes, that match the dress in my exact size! along with the jacket that went with dress! as well as the purse!!! I am so happy with this dress but it only cost me $250 for everything including the shoes the purse the jacket everything! Diana is very personable and took time to make me and my family members feel comfortable and welcome while shopping. I take a long time to shop and make decisions and the staff at White Arbor never made me feel rushed or pressured. Even if I hadn't ultimately purchased my dress here, the experience dress shopping itself was enjoyable. The dressing rooms are roomy, cute and clean. There are couches for guests to wait/view the bride in dresses. At first I was worried based on the size of the store that there wouldn't be much selection, but after shopping at almost all of the bridal stores in the Ann Arbor area I was very pleasantly surprised. Most of my favorite dresses were found at White Arbor (and obviously the dress I said yes to was found at White Arbor).
