The fried chicken wasn't my favorite. It was pretty hard and dry, although I'm not sure if I just got an older batch. But that Cajun rice... OH MY! Now THAT was good! It was packed with flavor, with plenty of chicken and some shrimp mixed in. The portion size was also great. I easily ate off of it at least four times! My only complaint is that they don't give you much shrimp. You definitely get galore of chicken, but the shrimp could be more generous. Overall, though, that Cajun rice is definitely worth trying!

If you ever have a craving for Americanized Mexican fast food that is delicious and not too heavy,…read moreTaco Casa is your jam! The elegance of TC is its simplicity. Things are just not too complicated around here, and I think that gives them the focus to concentrate on delivering a delicious and consistent product every time. You will never see some limited edition Frankenstein menu item collab with some overly processed food brand. Taco Casa knows it's got a winning repertoire and sticks to the classics. All of TC's menu items are basically a combination of taco meat, frejoles, cheese, red sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and different tortillas/ taco shells/ tostadas. The menu features photos of the items and let me tell ya, the items always look exactly as they are pictured. You never have to order "extra" anything because you always get the exact item from the picture. One of my favorite items is the excellent Taco Salad. It's in a deep fried flour tortilla bowl with all the taco fixins and salsa. I love this because it always tastes fresh and it's such a hearty portion, I can make 2 meals out of it. Everything I've ever tried at Taco Casa has been great, so it's pretty safe to say you could close your eyes and randomly choose something and you'd be happy with it. A lot of care is taken when packing the orders in the drive-thru so extra kudos for that attention to detail. Also, TC is a great value. Their prices are reasonable to begin with but they have "Frijole Fridays" where you can get a bean burrito, frijoles or a tostada for $1.49! This location also has a QR code you can scan in the drive-thru to get location-specific deals sent to you via text. Overall, Taco Casa is an unbelievable value with an excellent product. There were plenty of tables and window side seats for indoor dining. The condiment area had two soda dispensers, ketchup, utensils and teas. After researching online and learning my lessons from previous disappointing experience at INOB, I ordered the animal style double cheeseburger and animal style fries with soda. Took them about 5-6 minutes prepare the meal. Loved the way the burger was wrapped in paper. I definitely liked the taste of animal style sauce on both the burger and fries. I wish they had toasted/grilled the buns a bit. The soda from the dispenser was bleh, didn't have much fizz in the drink. Also for some reason between all Coca Cola brands (regular, diet, cherry), they had 7up instead of Sprite, it was weird for a soda geek like!!!! I don't like the crossover of Coca-cola and Pepsi universes :p. Imagine seeing Batman teaming up with Avengers, iykyk lol! The staff members in the store were very friendly. The staff that took my order at the register was patient and kind, as she explained me their types of burgers and the secret menu that had animal style items. Overall I liked the INOB a lot more here than my previous experience at a Vegas location almost a decade ago. We were pleasantly surprised by how crispy the chicken was; it had a really nice flavor. We also ordered a side of onion rings, which were super crunchy and delicious, and a side of sweet potato waffle fries. While the sweet potato waffle fries tasted amazing, the portion was pretty disappointing; we got about 10 fries total to share between two people. We originally wanted to order the K-Meal To-Go for 4-6 people, as we thought it was good value for money, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. They only had the large K-Box To-Go available, which costs around $90. We were told the K-Meals are not available on Fridays so they "don't lose money." If that's the case, then that's terrible marketing. Overall, the chicken and sides were great. We just think the sweet potato waffle fries portion should be larger for the price.

This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've ever had…read more I called in an order for two cups of churro bites--one with pistachio and one with cajeta. The employee repeated my order back to me exactly as I placed it, so I assumed everything was correct. Once we picked up the order I realized the churros had no cinnamon and sugar. They were completely plain. I had no idea plain churros were even an option, and no one on the phone asked whether I wanted cinnamon sugar or explained that it had to be requested separately. I politely brought the order back and simply explained that the churros didn't have cinnamon and sugar. Instead of trying to understand the misunderstanding or apologize, the employee immediately became defensive and repeatedly said, "You didn't order cinnamon sugar." I explained that I didn't know it had to be requested because, like most people, I expect a churro to come with cinnamon and sugar. I wasn't rude, I wasn't demanding, and I simply asked if they could fix it. Then another employee asked if I spoke English or Spanish. I answered that I wanted to continue in English. After walking away, 3 employees started talking about me in Spanish, calling me an idiot for not asking for cinnamon sugar, laughing about me together, and looking over at me while they were fixing my order. Unfortunately for them, I understand Spanish, so I knew exactly what they were saying. They apparently assumed I couldn't understand them. To make it even worse, as I left, they continued watching me walk out, watched me get into my car, and one was jumping around mocking me while they all stared at me through the window and laughed. The missing cinnamon sugar was never the real issue. It was a simple misunderstanding that could have been resolved in less than a minute with a quick apology and a positive attitude. Instead, your staff chose to embarrass and mock a respectful customer over something as minor as cinnamon and sugar. Everyone makes mistakes. That's not why I'm leaving this review. I'm leaving it because of the complete lack of professionalism, basic respect, and customer service. If this is how your staff chooses to treat respectful customers over something as minor as cinnamon and sugar, then I can't recommend this business to anyone. I'd much rather spend my money supporting a churro shop that values its customers, takes pride in its service, and employs people who treat others with courtesy and respect. Needless to say, I won't be returning, ever again.
