This CO-OP is smaller than the one Gayle and I visited in Moreton In March, but a bit more historical and convenient High Street wise. Between a fabulous Curry Lunch at the Noel Arms and late afternoon tea at the Bantam Tea Rooms, our "dinner" consisted of wine and snacks (and a Guardian) from tis Co-Op. We also picked up a couple of jars of Colman's Mustard to take back to Nevada.
The aisles were narrow, making our choices was educational, checkout was efficient, and our fine hotel room dining was satisfactory. We left open the possibility of going out for a later dinner, but walking fatigue and preparation for the next day's walk resulted in an early bedtime. read more
