They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Hard alcohol are located behind the cashiers so you'll have to ask for those. There are also magazines by the register. They do have some basic toiletries, but i would go next door to the Chemist if you need health and beauty products! We got some water for our hotel room, about 50p for a liter which is not a bad price. We also got our favorite Cadbury bars. The Cadbury bars taste different here than the ones in the US. Here they have Wispa, Twirl and Flake which are my favorite bar.

Still, there's always room for a latte and carrot cake, especially if it gives one the opportunity to hang out at such an attractively casual spot. The service here is nice if a little a wonky due to the popularity of the place. It mattered little though. Blockley Cafe just has a wonderful vibe. The Village Shop is attached to the Cafe (or vice versa) and it was the sort of market that I enjoy looking through. Prices were very good for specialty foods I'd like to bring back home with me. Blockley's inescapable claim to fame is that the popular BBC series, "Father Brown" is filmed at the church that sits mere steps from the Cafe. So it's somewhat mandatory to visit that before or after a stop at the Cafe.
