My garage door wasn't working properly, so I requested quotation from 4 Garage door repairs in my locality. Out of 4, I liked the professionalism of Mr Chen, most as he ensured me that he can visit my address & check the issue for free while others were charging for visit. This was my primary reason to opt for CO Global Garage Doors. Secondary, based on their reviews on Yelp. And also it is nearest to my house, i.e. 1.5 miles away. So, I called them to assess whether my current garage door was salvageable or needed to be replaced. He demonstrated promote communication and after a few questions a time to meet in was scheduled. Mr. Chen called prior to arriving on time...and unlike other companies whom I contacted prior, actually showed up altogether. Mr Chen & his technician, Tal assessed my ageing garage door & informed he only needed to make a few minor adjustments/repairs. He also gave me a quote for the installation of a new door. He honestly put both the options for me to select from. That means a lot, as I have 0 knowledge regarding these things. He also said There is no pressure to replace immediately. After that Mr Tal, repaired few minor issues within 15 mins like a boss. I felt Mr. Chen was completely honest & isn't out to gouge anyone. After dealing with several other flaky garage companies who disregard your time & money, I strongly appreciate the honest & punctual customer service provider. read more

This was me, with our garage door the last few days. It was not only super loud, but it also often got stuck, and you had to wait for it to stop about 2/3 of the way up & down and then press the button again. When you are juggling a toddler, dogs, groceries, etc, you kind of want the garage door to just work as it is intended, but you don't really want to add another thing to the never ending list. My husband just decided one day he was sick of our garage door, so he contacted Mr. Chen from CO Garage Doors & setup a service call, and I'm so thankful he did. Our garage door (which I had just assumed was on it's next-to-last legs and wouldn't last much longer) seems like a new door. It works perfectly - no more sticking and is nearly silent! I'm absolutely relax & thrilled as these guys assured me that the work will last for years. I think that's a fair price to pay for something so big that you use so many times every day. Here's how it works: it's so quiet I'm learning that one of my dogs has good hearing and the other gal, not so much. Felixe still greets us at the door but Betty can't hear the quiet new door! She never knows we're home now until we're inside the house! We keep scarring her. Don't just accept that your garage door is a loud, sticky mess. Cal Talk and let him get you all fixed. read more

So, I wrote this review two years ago when this guy was hired by my landlord to fix my garage door. Long story short, this guy is incredibly shady, definitely do not do business with him. Here's the full story: The garage door was hardwired to a button inside the unit that would open it, and this button no longer worked. He showed up, and couldn't fix the hardwired opener. So he ripped it out, replaced it with a $6 wireless opener that he nailed to the wall, and charged more than $100. Like, these are the ones you get at Walmart that you put in your car. The kicker was that he demanded payment up front from me the tenant) immediately, even though he had already worked out a payment solution with my landlord that was discussed well in advance. My landlord was extremely disappointed, and so was I, even though I was reimbursed, and ultimately, I didn't own the property so I wouldn't have to deal with this ugly garage door opener nailed to the wall forever. I wrote the review initially as 5 stars because he offered a substantial discount on the "service" if I wrote a 5-star review for his business (while he stood there looking over my shoulder). I figured I would at least try to save my landlord some money after this joke of an experience. Again, don't do businesses with this guy. It's a scam. read more

Hey everyone! So yesterday I came back home to find my garage door looking like this. One of the neighbors kid crash into our garage and this was the first time since we moved here I needed to deal with any issue with the garage. I asked a friend who recommended Tal so I took the number and called CO Global Garage Doors. Surprisingly Tal said he can be there in less then an hour which was amazing. He came over in a white van right away gave me a business card and introduced himself. He examined the situation (not that it was hard to guess what happened) and gave me a fair price for fixing the door. He took the time same night to work on my door for over two hours and brought it to perfection. Throughout the whole process Tal was professional and easy to work with. I'm happy Tal took my advise to open a business page on yelp and I'm very happy to be the first to review this great young hard working guy. I wish you the best Tal god bless. read more

I was looking for a shop to replace a broken compression spring on my garage door and it being a Friday afternoon it was going to be a challenge to find someone for same day work. I did a search online and found CO garage doors. I wasn't sure about it using them but decided to call. I spoke with a guy name Oman (I believe that was his name) he said a tech would call me back in 10 min. The tech name Amire called back and we talked in details about the work and price. He asked me to take a few pictures so he could make sure he had the right parts and to provide me an estimate. He provided an ETA and arrived at the time he stated. The work has fast and he was very knowledgeable. Amire was friendly, answered the questions I had and was professional. This isn't a big shop but a family owned business. I would use them again. 2 other companies couldn't come out until Mon or Wed. Thanks for coming out on a Friday evening Amire. read more

He best guys in town!! Yesterday I heard a big noise from my garage door and when I went to check what happened I saw the chain of the garage door opener was broken and I was thought maybe it's time to change it because is old. I called Co global garage door repair at 7am the owner Chen answered right away and said he could send the tech in an hour (!!) After 45 minutes the tech, Tal, came immediately saw the problem and gave me couple of options of repair. Even I thought the opener is gone he told me he can fix it with couple of parts to be changed and I don't have to replace the opener if I don't want to! Which was amazing! I preferred to fix it instead of replacing the whole unit. After less then an hour the garage door worked properly even better then it was! The spring broke on my garage door late Monday evening, and we couldn't even open it manually. I requested quotation from 4 Garage door repair services in my locality. But finally decided to call these guys. I called them first thing today's morning and spoke with Chen (Owner) of this business who said his technician would be out in a couple of hours. I was most grateful as most companies were giving me appointment only after 1 day wait. Mr. Tal arrived, diagnosed the problem, and within no time we had set of new springs replaced and he made sure everything was in good working order. He also gave suggestions which are beneficial, fair & cost effective. It was a pleasure dealing with this Business. I highly recommend them. read more

I've used Co Global Garage Doors for multiple jobs at 2 different houses and Tal is my techie. Tal is hardworking, dedicated and timely and calls to let me know when he's on his way. He always kept his words. He showed me exactly what they needed to do to repair a broken safety eye and bent door frame, and then had me test multiple times to confirm it was working before they left. They will give you different options for large jobs. This is what Co Global Garage Doors has done for me over couple of months: - installed a brand new door - replaced door springs - replaced 2 door openers - installed a key pad opener. Thank you Chen and Tal!! - read more

I bought a new home and it didn't came with a garage door opener. I called these guys to see what my options were and they were quite reasonably priced. Guy was very responsive. After my initial call regarding faulty garage door, he arrived the next day, diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the motor unit on the spot (all while the temperature was in the teens!). My garage door opener was opening and closing on its own. I decided to replace it with a new, modern opener. I was impressed that they were able to make an appointment the next day. His guy, Tal was available early and I was home. About an hour later my door was fixed - two new springs and 2 new cables. We tested it a couple times and made minor adjustments before he left. He even removed his shoes when we walked through the house. Professional & courteous!! read more
