    cobblestone breeder

I've written a review already but it didn't get posted for some reason…read more Our experience with Cobblestone and Miss Julia has been extraordinary. I say this as a former quality home breeder who is very conscientious about any pet I purchase. I do my homework, I ask questions, I read, compare breeder's litters/parents and carefully determine if this is the right breeder for us. Miss Julia is an extremely down-to-earth, personable, easy-to-talk-to breeder. Over several conversations and much exploring online, it became clear to me that our Bernedoodle puppy would come from her. She has a lifetime of experience and it shows in her litters. It's not just the markings or coat, it's the temperament that rules. I've done about 3 years of research, looking at many breeders across the country. I first was quite enamored with Swiss Ridge in Canada and still admire that breeder and her knowledge/facility but the distance was an issue because we really didn't want to ship our puppy, although I know it happens often with no problems, just a personal preference issue for us. What originally impressed me about her Cobblestone Kennels was her ability to have gorgeous pups in every litter. The most striking ones she calls "Puppy Stars" and they truly are! Almost all of her pups are "Stars"! Our puppy is even more spectacular than we were expecting, and that's saying a LOT, we've been pretty particular with specific wishes. That being said, I'm confident we would be delighted with any of Miss Julia's pups---that's just how good she is at breeding for amazing puppies. In fact, we're seriously considering saving up for another Cobblestone baby. Saint Nicholas (called Saint) is probably the smartest dog I've ever had and that is saying much because I'm 63 and have had many, many dogs in my life, from Great Danes to Yorkshires, Labs and Golden Retrievers, and blends of various like Maltipoos (raised litters of those), Bijon/Shih Zhu, etc. I'm a dog lover, and a Bernedoodle was my dream dog. "Saint" is amazing, learning faster than any dog I've known! A 5 lesson skill takes 1 lesson with practice. He's 11 wks. old and already is mostly house trained, sits, shakes, and overcame his fear of going up/down stairs in one lesson. As Miss Julia told me, he is extremely calm but playful. He spent Thanksgiving day with a gathering of 40 adults and children, and 4 other dogs. All fell in love with Saint. I can't more strongly recommend Cobblestone. And just know that the couple of bad reviews are total BS! (Sorry for cussing, Miss Julia!) It makes me really mad that people can truly LIE on reviews and say awful, untrue things for selfish reasons! I do read reviews, but I'm cognizant of that fact. Do your own research---I promise you won't find better than Miss Julia's Bernedoodles! We couldn't be more pleased with our Saint and we look forward to everyday adventures with him for a long time. Good luck in your perfect puppy search. Ours truly is perfect! Thanks, Miss Julia!!!

Buyer Beware! Please see review dated 6/27/2018…read more Our experience with Cobblestone has been a nightmare. These folks should be shut down. First vet visit diagnosed every type of worm. Then puppy came down with parvovirus and almost died. Breeder denies all issues! Our puppy was purchased on 6/14/2025
