We were impressed enough with his attention to detail that we also asked him to take care of some additional home improvement work that wasn't related to painting. I found The Affordable & Licensed Handyman through Yelp because they had great reviews so I was interested to see how much their service fee would be for a simple job when I was looking for a plumber. I needed a license plumber due to home insurance requirement to do this installation or I would've done it myself. They were responsive when I talked to them through Yelp projects. I was shocked with how much I was quoted because it was almost double the price of the automatic shut off valve device I paid for. So I had to confirm that the price that was given to me was just to switch out the bad unit with the new one. They didn't have to do anything else like run new pipes or replace anything else. When I communicated to them that the quote was high, they asked how much did i wanted to pay. I thought they would try to be more reasonable since the name is The Affordable. I give them a range based on the prices from other plumbing company that I reached out to and they couldn't do it which I understand they can set their own prices. Maybe for big projects, they'll give more of a reasonable price which is why they have great reviews on Yelp but just to replace a bad automatic shut off valve with a brand new one, I think it was overprice so I used another plumbing company where they were very reasonable on the price.

The sales person was very nice and had very good customer service skills however, the way the…read morehouse would be painted was not discussed. For instance, there was no primer put on the house. Since the paint color was so different I thought there should be. They spray painted the house but didn't stand away from the house to look at it, so I had to point out place where paint was missing. There were two people for the first 2 days. A senior painter and a junior painter. The senior painter went on vacation in the middle of the job and the junior painter went on wasn't quite sure what to do. They had to come back twice to repaint the places they missed. And they only repainted what I pointed out.They didn't actively look around the house.
