Firstly.... I want to thank the owner and her family & friends for being the most gracious and beautiful hosts! Secondly, forget any other "CM" Chicken you have been to. They are not the same and can't even compare nor compete with Heejong's establishment. Hands down the best Korean GEM in our city. Pure and true authentic Korean! The rosé tteokbokki- is phenomenal and the literal best I've ever had. The wings and tenders are superior in every way- flavor, crunch, tenderness, and juiciness- than any damn CM chicken you've ever been to. Again this place is unreal and so unique it's not to be associated with these others. They're just not the same. "They not like us" vibes all day & night! Outstanding! We also tried the plum soju- we like soju and anime nights... and this was brilliant it's so tasty without being over or under in sweetness! Now.... For my favorite part- the experience only heightened how wonderful the food is. We walked into the place door was open, we had zero idea they were closed for a private event to watch the fifa World Cup (GOOOOOO South Korea!) and were in knee deep family style eating drinking and enjoying the match. We were going to leave but they all said NO, said let's watch the game- you want to watch? The owner said stay, and politely excused herself to the back to receive our order (didn't know she was the owner until later lol but I'm in tears on the inside cause no you sit down and eat your food we can leave but she wasn't having it!) They welcomed us in like family fed us so well even though I bought our meals- she was giving us special food she made for her family too- and that's just something that people don't do... so yes this place is so special and with such warm inviting good hearted people and a perfect energy... So if you go- be good, kind, and don't start no mess with my family lol cause we are family now, and I'll get you if you don't respect these rules alright! Again Heejung- so grateful for the amazing time and appreciate you letting us join you all! Chefs kiss hit em five times!!! (And yes the emojis make it better) read more

Lots to unpack on today's visit. There's a small sign when you enter that's asks you to wait to be seated. So, I waited. As there was just one person as a greeter, server and chief bottle washer, I waited for several minutes. When I was seated, the menu was promptly delivered. I came for the wings, so all I had to do was pick a flavor. I went with spicy garlic and an order of fries. Now, if you're a wing fan, you know they're often slathered in a sauce and can be quite messy. Well, Korean wings take it to a whole new level. These wings are crispy, sticky, messy and require a hose for cleanup. Two napkins and a wet nap just doesn't get it done. The wing order was very good. A mix of drums and flats. Served piping hot. And the spice level was enough to make my eyes water, but not so hot they weren't enjoyable. The side of fries was also excellent, some of the best I've had. Hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I rarely can't finish an order of fries, but these were a challenge. I failed. A small dish of pickled radishes accompanied the order. And the server also managed to find time to refill my soft drink. So, why not 5 stars? First acknowledge CM is not fast food. On average, based on the other tables, orders seemed to take 20 minutes. So. After a 10-15 minute wait, the fries were brought to the table. And I waited, assuming the wings would quickly follow. I was as mistaken. It was another 10 minutes before the wings were served. In the end, the disjointed service didn't diminish the meal. But better timing would certainly have improved it. Along with a damp washcloth to wash off the sticky stuff. read more

I've had food from here before. Today's was not a good experience. The best item was a pickled tiny salad. Yum. The Kim chi cucumber salad was a bad miss, sorely missing a garlic element. I don't know who cuts their chicken. It left me wondering what part of the chicken it was. The batter was unusually hard also. $0.02 read more

CM Chicken - Korean Near Me - Prospect, Kentucky

CM chicken again does not disappoint. I was in the mood for some Korean chicken and I knew that CM chicken had just finished remodeling their business. So I stopped by and ordered the Snow chicken drumsticks which I've never had and turned out to be so delicious that I hated to stop eating, but I was too full. I had the beef dumpling and fried tofu with a lightly spicy sauce. It was so delicious. you have to experience it for yourself. It made me do my happy dancing in my chair. And I've been enjoying this pair of tea from them. That doesn't need any sugar to feel the beautiful flavor that comes from The tea. It's a soothing hug in a cup. It makes you smile. I like their new design and it's very wonderful to see that they're opening their space for more business because they really deserve it so you can take groups or a date or just wandering around and wanting to have a small space to yourself. This is absolutely a great place to go eat, and the staff is wonderful and attentive so please if you have an opportunity to go by there give them a try you will not be sad and there are so many different options that you can. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen for making my lunch so wonderful. read more

Great Korean chicken and other specialties served with care. Happy hour that's hard to beat!!

CM Chicken has been one of those places on my list to try for forever, but I wasn't committing the time to go to. Mainly because I had thought the only location was on Frankfort Ave, which isn't that close to me. But as soon as I saw there was one in Norton Commons, my friends and I high-tailed it over there. It's a very small and casual type of joint, but it totally lived up to my expectations. While their most-advertised item is their fried chicken, they do have plenty of other Korean options on the menu. But, the fried chicken was what I came for and it was so good! Very saucy and crispy. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other menu items! read more

What a surprise awaits. I did not know how authentic their Korean food tasted. After working in Korea in my youth, this is the first time food has brought me back to those memories. read more

POV: you didn't know Korean fried chicken could be this good. This is CM Chicken and I'm telling you right now -- the crunch is unreal. Like... actually crispy, not greasy, not heavy, just clean crunchy chicken. Every box hit. No skips. Also, they just renovated and added a private seating area, which is lowkey perfect if you're coming with family, kids, or a group and don't want to be all up in everyone's space. It feels cozy but still fun. The vibe is chill -- TVs on, people hanging out, no pressure. This is the kind of place where you open all the boxes on the table and everyone starts grabbing pieces like "wait which one is this??" 10/10 would come back and p.s. I over-ordered so I can have some the next day. Just put it in the air fryer for a few mins. read more

This place is so bomb. It's located in Norton commons and there's usually a lot of parking nearby. The restaurant itself is modest but the chef is so sweet. We'd been to the other CM chicken on Frankfort where we only got chicken, which was delicious, but we tried other things here. The beef bulgogi and spicy pork were so flavorful. The chicken katsu was okay though it's admittedly not my favorite dish anywhere. The veggie dumplings were also solid with good sauce. The main dishes also come with banchan. Very much recommend. read more

This place has to be one of the best places I have ever been. 100% recommended they have such good customer service. I ate my food in like 10 minutes flat it was so good. It's a cute little shop and it's not too overwhelming! read more

We recently had an incredible dinner at CM Chicken Norton Commons that I am excited to share! We started with Japchae, which are sweet potato starch noodles stir-fried with veggies and meat. It's one of Korea's most popular dishes, and for good reason. It's a great dish to share, and it's now one of our favorites too. We ordered the Japchae without meat so we could also enjoy the Korean fried chicken. I ordered drumsticks with the Hot Honey sauce. It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy and juicy, and the Hot Honey sauce added a nice spicy kick. If HOT isn't your thing, they offer many other flavorful sauces from mild to hot. CM Chicken offers many other dishes worthy of your attention. They also have lunch specials which I plan to try very soon. Check out the attached menus. CM Chicken is delicious Korean Fried Chicken and so much more. Open 6 days a week. Closed on Mondays. Located next to Karems, in the previous Tea Station Asian Bistro location. We'll be back again very soon. I'm craving that Hot Honey Sauce on my CM Chicken super thick crust juicy fried chicken! read more

The food was amazing. We got the glass noodle stir fry and the curry fried chicken sandwich. Both tasted amazing. The fries were super delicious as well. The owner was so sweet and even brought our 9month old some watermelon. It was so kind. Great service and great experience all around. Oh I forgot the pork dumplings! Those were top notch! Best Korean/chicken restaurant in Louisville! Authentic Korean dishes for all pallets and the crispiest chicken I've had by far. The cook is such an amazing woman and all the food is house-made. Check this place out if you're in the area!! read more

This restaurant is a newly opened branch of CM Chicken, but it has also added a Korean bistro. When I visited this restaurant, it had only been open for a week, so it can be improved in the future. Service: I was there during off-peak hours, but my server always responded quickly. The food was served quickly, and she was friendly enough. Atmosphere: The restaurant was newly opened, so everything looked clean. It felt like I was in a Korean chicken restaurant. Food: They give you a side dish when you order Korean food. The side dishes were neat. We had bulgogi stone pot bibimbap. The bulgogi was flavored like it was cooked on a grill. We tried two types of chicken, one spicy and one sweet. The sweet chicken was a bit greasy if you eat only this. But, with the other chicken, the spicy chicken made it taste better. I recommend ordering two types of chicken dishes. It was a pleasant enough experience. I will revisit this place in the future. Recommended. read more

Run, do not walk, to CM Chicken. This place has the best fried chicken you will ever have, so much so, you will come back for more (as my family and I have). The chicken is served at the highest quality with bold flavors and savory sides. In addition, the staff takes their time with every order. I came in with my mother and brother, and we ordered chicken. We were waiting for some time, and she came out with hot tea while we were waiting! The wait honestly isn't that long--and for good chicken? I don't mind waiting while watching K-pop on their large projector. The staff is so friendly and genuine, always checking in on customers and building relationships. My favorite part about all of this? The chicken is AFFORDABLE. You can check the prices yourself. So, if you're thinking about getting lunch or dinner, order or stop in Tuesday through Sunday, and get a taste of authentic Korean chicken. read more

This is a Korean fried chicken place. The crust is very thin, and it makes the fried chicken really delicious. I heard that the chef is known among Koreans for being a good cook.
