Clyde's did a horrible job on my roof and gutters, did not complete the job, did not meet their contract, and have never called me back. They are also NOT BBB certified. I do not recommend any of their services. I signed a contract with Clyde's on 6/9/2023 to have my gutters and roof replaced. They told me my roof was next on the list. I called them for 6 months and they finally showed up to do my roof on 12/13/2023. On 12/26/2023, I started calling to let them know there were issues with the work. They have never called back. I've had multiple roofing contractors inspect the work and create estimates. They all agree the workmanship is very shoddy and I should take legal action. Terrible I could I NOT get them to return calls.The receptionist was terrible to talk to. They gave us a guarantee on work had done but then they would not come out to fix an issue that occurs within the year, would not even bother to answer our call. We ended up paying another person to come out and do the work that have been guaranteed. I cannot recommend them. read more

BEWARE of this disreputable business! I hired Clyde's Bluegrass Roofing (Mr. Joe Johnson and Ms. Regina Yeager) to replace the roof on my house in January 2017. Work began 24January2017 and was not completed until 21April2017. The roof was not satisfactorily installed with many issues including failure to replace water damaged decking, cut and torn shingles, shingles installed directly on decking with no underlayment and a new leak around the chimney that did not exist before their work. Mr. Johnson and Ms. Yeager claimed that I voided my warranty by letting anyone on the roof and that I was to never contact them again. They refused to honor their warranty and correct the deficiencies. 22June2017 by the advice of my legal counsel, I hired Champion Roof to replace the roof installed by Clyde's Roofing. Legal action has been taken and as of December 2018, judgement granted in my favor. Now with a court ordered judgement, Clyde's Roofing refuses to respond to any communication and will not satisfy the court ordered judgement. This is a disreputable business. FRIENDS PLESE SHARE!!!!!! We hired JOE JOHNSON owner of Clydes Bluegrass Roofing Nov 12th 2018. We were in the process of listing/selling our home and were happy when the company told us they were two weeks out with only a few houses ahead of us. So we paid them almost 13K up front, which was our portion that State Farm insurance paid towards our roof replacement. They gladly cashed the insurance check a day later. As of today April 11th 2019 we have yet to get the roof replaced or had any communication from them since end of Feb. We have also sold our home and no longer live in the house and had to pay for the total roof replacement out of our own pockets. The owner Joe Johnson is a FRAUD. His company Clydes Bluegrass Roofing gave us the run around on why they could not come and do the work from the end of Nov to the end of Feb, when our house was under contract and getting ready for home inspection and closing soon. Our State Farm agent Steve Woodrum even called Joe Johnson, explaining to Amy the secretary if they did not resolve the situation their company would be black listed from doing any State Farm jobs. By mid Feb we could not even get a phone call back. My husband went to the office at the end of Feb to personally tell them we no longer wanted their services because we could not get them to come out and do the job.....only for the secretary Amy to get Joe Johnson on the phone, who then hung up on my husband and told him we couldn't get a refund.......and still no work has been done, no materials ever at our home and he had no labor to pay out....JOE JOHNSON has not contacted us since to resolve the issue!! Our minds our blown that a business could steal like this.....They went as far as telling us that bc the forecast had a 20% chance of rain that we needed to sign a waiver because his insurance wouldn't cover him working if an accident happened....WOW!!! We have now filed a court complaint against JOE JOHNSON and his business CLYDES BLUEGRASS ROOFING, and are waiting on a response so we can take him to court and get a judgement. When I called the Scott county sheriff's office earlier this week to see if he had been served the lady said yes and we are not the first to be filing against Joe Johnson and his company Clyde's Bluegrass Roofing! PLEASE BEWARE of CLYDES BLUEGRSS ROOFING!!!! Praying our family will eventually get a refund for the $13,000 they stole from our family!! Said they would in a week in a half. It's been over a month. There has been a lot of rain but plenty of times in between to get it done.
