There was so much overspray that after a couple weeks of badgering, they sent a guy out to chip it away. After one-day, he made an entire crew come out and they spent hours pounding, hacking, chopping, and cutting that crap off the studs so I could have a surface to mount drywall. I still needed an electrician to replace switches and outlets which were ruined and PVC drain vent-pipes were entombed in foam causing them to warp past the face of the studs. The two-person prep crew DID laid out some plastic and nominally covered a few things a COUPLE WEEKS before the spray guys came. The spray guys were here a few hours at a time over several scattered days to apply the foam. They even mixed open cell and closed cell foam in the same areas when it should have been only closed cell. Significant areas of interior walls were also insulated for what reason?! Cigarette butts, chunks of foam, and trash littered my yard for many days and I ended up cleaning it myself as it was being blown around yard -and the job wasn't even done yet. Long after they were done, I am still finding significant corners and transitions that still have airflow passing through the walls from outside -but they caulked studs on interior walls, again, for what reason?! Thousands of dollars spent for a lousy job, hundreds more for electrical repairs and supplemental closed-cell spray foam I did myself to gain more even coverage. Also had to caulk many corners and studs when I still felt cold air coming in. This company sucks. Even the owner came out in the early days to inspect and saw the super uneven coverage and the lousy cleanup. Still took weeks and many calls to get it from being a gawd-awful horrid job to just sucking.

Earlier this year, our gutters and front awning were damaged in a storm. I'm normally a DIY kind of person, but I've been suffering from a lack of mobility for the past year or so after a back injury, and found that I wasn't going to be able to get around to doing any kind of repair myself. We dreaded the cost, but bit the bullet and reached out to a few local contractors. These guys responded quick, came out quick for the initial assessment and quote, and gave us a reasonable price and timeframe for the work. A few other companies had comparable prices, several were much more expensive, but the professional communication from this team sold us. The job had to be rescheduled, at first, because of weather, and then again due to the unpredictable schedules that come with custom work, but they responded quickly to calls and e-mails, and kept us in the loop. Finally, the big day came, and during the course of setting up to work, they noticed some issues with our house's novel construction, especially with the way our roofers had not left much of an overhang with our drip edge and shingles. At first, we were worried this was going to turn into a much more expensive job, or that we'd have to start shopping around again, but were pleasantly surprised when the owner himself came out to take a look, with one of their more senior employees, who quickly identified a likely solution. Not only are they going forward with the job as soon as possible, but they're honoring their original quote despite the extra work and materials, partially to make up for the initial scheduling delays. A far better experience, so far, than being left in the dark by other companies we've worked with recently, and it's refreshing to have a company honor their own quote without sneaky fees, last-minute upselling, or bait-and-switch tactics even in the face of unforeseen complications. I'm impressed.
