This is a very late review, but we wanted to write one anyways for Clutter. My husband I used their service about a year ago. We were incredibly impressed by the care, speed, and dedication of the movers and packers. We have never moved and stored items so efficiently and with such organization and help. They brought all the boxes and packed up our whole apartment in just a few hours. They did the same when we moved into our other apartment a month later. We couldn't be happier with their service and we will definitely use Clutter again in the future. Ps If this is still a feature, we recommend getting the insurance just to cover any accidental damages. Their insurance policy is amazing and paid for the damages to few of our items to get them replaced. read more

Clutter is the best moving company I have ever dealt with. The movers were professional and courteous. Next time I move, I will definitely use Clutter. I am a disabled veteran and they packed most of my belongings with care. I would give them a higher rating if I were able. Clutter is the best. read more

Victor, Bryson and Mikey did an AMAZING job packing and loading my clutter in their truck. Service was 10/10 and they were very easy-going and nice group of people. Very accommodating and they definitely definitely deserve a raise. Give those men what they deserve! read more

Clutter - Bryson, Victor, and Mikey - Self Storage Near Me

We had a great experience with our movers! Francis and Mike were so experienced as movers and took extra care moving and packing our things. We were quite impressed with the service in general, however, I'm giving 4 stars due to the lack of detail of Clutter's form that is required for us to fill out to prepare for the move. Clutter only gave us options to notify them that we had stairs or elevators, but didn't have an option for us to explain the distance from our apartment door to where the trucks can park at our complex, which was quite far. Therefore, the move took longer than we had hoped and the movers had to stay overtime to finish the move. We are thankful for their hard work and love Clutter as a concept (who can beat free labor and packing), but from a management standpoint, the company has still more room to improve to better make the process easier for both its customers and workers. read more

First, I gotta say this has nothing to do wit& the delivery guys. They were great. But ever since clutter took over make space it got way too expensive for storage and the delivery fees are even more. Makespace had free 1/month delivery and pickups. I just closed my account and had my things dropped off. Cost nearly $200 including tips for the guys. The guys deserve it though. I hope that money goes to them. read more

This company is legit. Ask yourself - how many times has your stuff been damaged by movers? How many times has the moving company worked at a step and fetch it pace because they know it costs you more money? How many times have you tried to "save money" by renting a U-Haul and getting your friends to help you move only to feel like shit for the next week because you hurt yourself? Don't do any of the above by calling a second rate service. Clutter is THE BEST MOVING/STORAGE company I've ever seen or dealt with. They treat all of your stuff with care. They move quickly but not recklessly. They are considerate of you and the time you're paying for. Their customer service - both on the phone and while on the job site are top notch. I've talked to Sebastian on the phone, as well as Danielle and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. Carlos on the moving team is F'N legit. That dude is a straight up moving God. He knows all the tricks to save you money and protect your stuff. His team of Adolfo and Robert are hosses. Those guys rocked it out! I am never calling another moving or storage company again. For 3 month mins they will move your stuff into storage for $350/month. No additional fees for the 1st hour of moving. Each additional hour you pay $35/ mover. Additional pickups are free if 1 guy can do it. If it's more than 1, you pay a flat $35/mover. Drop offs are free. What a great company. Why would anyone use any other company? Screw U-Haul and their ghetto trucks and go right to Clutter!!! read more

I received a response from Clutter that was completely useless. They are sorry??? No they are not...they want the customer to do all the work for a claim! And, believe it or not, they charged me $2000 to drive from San Diego to Santa Ana because they insisted on 2 trucks despite all of my items fitting into one truck. And they left multiple items behind so I had to hire another mover, who treated me fairly, to bring those items here. Clutter is a company that grew fast, and in that process became unprofessional and greedy. They do not care about the consumer--they lie and run up your bill! Do not give them a credit card-insist on debit or GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have had such good experiences with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK--they are fantastic movers, but just weren't available in my timeframe-I should of told my new employer I needed more time to move. I guarantee you will not be happy with Clutter! They will rob you and not give it a second thought. All of their apologies are fake, they take no action to be accountable for grossly overcharging your credit card. It's like a blank check to them. STAY AWAY! read more

Clutter is in the business of scamming people. They are a shady company do NOT accept any services from them. Make sure to read the reviews on the BBB website and Consumer Affairs website. They will hold your items hostage in storage. They will upcharge your move without warning. They will do everything in their power to gauge more money from you and not settle any claims from broken/damanged or missing items from their negligence. Don't be fooled by Clutter responding to these reviews saying they will help. You call Clutter and get sent to a call center not based in the US. You will get the run around from someone via email/chat. They will not help you, they will not settle any claims, they will actually find a way to take money that they offered on items away. Literally just happened to me. I was offered around $2,400 for a damaged/missing item and somehow it's now valued at $109. It was a clerical error supposedly. I was surprised charged $25,092.36 for a quoted $11,100 cross country move. They are brand new to cross country moves and treated this like a broker. They hired a third party to move my stuff. Make sure to file a complaint with the Bureau of Household goods and services (916)999-2041 (California) and with the Department of Tranportation; Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration if they do a cross country move for you. Update to my review 07.17 1:35pm (tn time): Haven't received any resolution from Clutter. No urgency to the settle claims. No urgency to right their wrongs. No one has reached out. Like I previously said don't be fooled by Clutter responding they don't want to help or seek any resolution for their shady, scamming ways. read more

Clutter - The best movers EVER! - Self Storage Near Me

The total service is very well organized. The online room and content listing is fairly easy which is followed up with a video call walk through. I think this was one of the key factors that made the quoting very accurate. My end bill was within 90 dollars of the expected price where we finished a little early. The moving team was very friendly and efficient. They took care and asked for directions on where to place items. They wrapped everything with blankets, pads, and corner protectors. They were efficient and on time. The text updates are very accurate and tell you everything about the schedule. Email document signing is concise and clear. I definitely recommend this company and would use them again. They offer a professional service that provides everything you need for a local house move. read more

I'm very happy with their service. They got to my place on time, packed my stuff really well and placed on the truck carefully. The team was organized, fast, kind and sweet. The only part that disappointed me was the fact that they told me I needed a bigger storage. And went from $106 to $190/month. I definitely recommend it and would use their service again. read more

Victor and Nicolas are amazing! They were honestly so helpful and courteous. I didn't directly hire them, but my sister did for her move. She is using my garage as storage so she had sent them my way. I've never used clutter before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but she set an appointment for an expected time of 7-10 and they arrived around 8. Clutter is pretty cool, they let me know when the guys were coming and they sent me a tracking number via text message with live ETAs. I can literally see the current location of the guys and how long it would take them to roll through. That alone exceeded my expectations. They arrived, introduced themselves and immediately started working. My sister didn't have too many things she need to get unloaded, however, she did end up giving me her couch and that was something that ended up being the most difficult part. She had given me a large black L shaped leather couch that needed to be brought up stairs. That was no problem for the guys. They got it upstairs but it was very difficult to get the couch through the door. It almost didn't fit, but they were diligent and made it work. The first section was the one that took the longest (It took maybe 15 minutes to get it passed the threshold ) and after that the second one was easy to get through and took no time. The house has a lot of clutter I'm working through, but they placed the couches down and we were finished with everything by 8:40- 8:45! They're so fast and friendly! I highly recommend them two. They were so professional and productive, I'll definitely hire them if I ever need anymore assistance. I will advocate and spread the word around (: Thank you guys again! You guys made a stressful transition go really smoothly and painless. read more

I called Clutter to see how much their services would cost. The guy on the other end of the phone was cutting out every other word, making it nearly impossible to understand him. I asked him to call me back, and he did so in five minutes or so. He asked me to go through my house and inventory my stuff. It went like this: "I have a TV tray that is 9" by 15"" Guy on the phone: "So that is an entertainment center?" Me: "No, it is a TV tray. It collapses." Guy on the phone: "So it is a coffee table." Me: "No, it is a small table we use for a printer stand." And it went on like this for the next 15 minutes as I walked around my house. It is almost as if the guy had never seen furniture before. I went back to my desk, expecting an estimate, and he said he wanted more information. He then started going through the entire list again. After going through the first half dozen items, and reliving the conversation about the TV trays, I decided not to use their services. read more

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! I accidentally found them doing a google search for a last minute move. They can pack, they move, they store and they deliver---all this AND they saved me a almost a thousand dollars on movers and storage, and that estimate is low, likely over a thousand. And NO kidding it was no fuss no muss for me! David Simpson, Carlos Guzman, Jeremiah Bustt were my moving specialists. They were friendly, knowledgeable, hard workers, through, and honest. I didn't need as big a storage as I thought and they told me and saved me even MORE money!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! read more

The movers came early! Which is way better then other companies I have used. They were professional and treated my things with care as if it was there own belongings. They worked well together and with me. I would highly recommend them. I have already referred two of my friends to use them and on called me today to thank me for the referral. The prices they charge are very reasonable (half the price I was paying at a dirty place with no electricity or lights in a large unit. I will be using them again. They informed me that they could bring my items I. Different shipments so not to be overwhelmed with unpacking everything at once read more

Clutter came to my house & packed up my things much better than I would have! Francis & Heshimu were the movers, I know that cause they texted me with who was coming. I really appreciated knowing beforehand who & being able to see the ETA via text. The guys were very professional & friendly. They made sure I understood the process completely. They were very sweet to my dog too! The entire process took no time at all & I didn't break a sweat. Definitely recommend! read more

This is a follow up for my part of my household goods that was return from clutter storage. This is not intended for the mover. They arrived on the time that was schedule and very professionally bring all my things to my new home. However my household goods only had been stored for a little over a week and it had been returned damage and my dining table was returned without the screws and I have to take it to the Home Depot to hunt and found the right screws for all 4 of my table legs. I can't wait to find the crew who take apart my dining table on 6/6/2018 and ask "where is my screws.?" That is unacceptable and one of my removable shelf for my big bookshelves was returned scraped and broken. I am very disappointed by the way my shelves and dining table was returned and I can't wait for the rest of my household goods to be returned. I don't want any of my household goods to be store in their warehouse since my goods is returned damage. It was wrapped in a blanket too so do they just throw my stuff around in the warehouse. The worker who store household goods In the warehouse need to have more intense training on carefully storing these items. The mover even told me that they don't put away my things once it get to the warehouse so whomever the company used for storage need to be fired or change. I am not rich to replaced every items returned to me broken or the time to go to Home Depot to hunt down the right screws. I am a full time working mom with two toddlers. I took a chance with Clutter and I know that the company is only developed for couple of years but it is not acceptable for the company to return my items broken when the motto was pack and store and returned in good condition. I should get refunded for my storage fees. Another things they should do better for a company that is so high tech is to put a good friendly search engine for client to be able to look up their individual items that was returned on the online account. I was trying to look up one box with the barcode that was returned and enter the exact barcode number and it came back none of that item was returned or . WTF. Each of the barcode tag to my items don't tell me what it is inside the box until I open it. I had work in customer service for over 14 years and the most important thing was communication and empathy. I am frustrated and paid lots of money for packing and storing and also labor fees and the best thing I expect is to have my things back in the conditions that was pick up. read more

What a great moving experience we had with Clutter. I had never heard of Clutter until our neighbor recommended them. Our move was SEAMLESS and the Clutter crew was professional, efficient and made us part of their process. I'm trying to understand what is happening with my account! The monthly automatic payment has NOT been deducted from my account and it was due on the 15th. I am certain, that if I had missed that payment, Clutter would have been hunting me down for it. But YOU miss deducting it and it's no problem? I have tried several times to sign into my account, to be certain I still have an account with you, and that my items are still safely stored. But, now my password is invalid. After trying several times to reset the password, by requesting the Password Reset Email, that email does not arrive. As though my Clutter account does not exist! Then, when I try to contact your company's Customer Support via email, it takes me to the sign-in screen. HOW CAN I SEND YOU AN EMAIL, IF I CAN'T SIGN IN? AND HOW CAN I SIGN IN, IF YOU WON'T SEND ME THE PASSWORD RESET EMAIL?? I need someone to contact me immediately! read more

Updated review: Although we were originally disappointed that Clutter damaged some of our high end furniture, broke our box frame and lost our mattress, after several back and forth conversations with Clutter, we were satisfied that they ultimately agreed to compensate us for the loss of the mattress. Essentially, we argued that damaged decor should not be compensated in the same manner as lost or broken essentials. You can get by more easily with a chipped table than you can without a bed! We felt our request was reasonable: we agreed to forgo the losses we incurred in rent (due to delayed move in) as well as all damages to our furniture. We asked only that they reimburse us partially for the loss of the mattress. We didn't ask for the full amount to replace the mattress since we took depreciation into account. There was some push back but the customer service team was courteous in listening to our argument and eventually agreed to our request. We were satisfied with the way the customer service team resolved our issue. read more

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! What should have taken 2 to 3 hours tops took over 5 hours. We moved out of a one bedroom and our new place was literally 3 blocks away. We had one small dining table, a king size bed (both disassembled) maybe 20-25 boxes (most of them very light with only about 5 heavy ones) and two TVs.. that's it. And all we're stacked and ready to go at the front entrance. First of all, they were an hour late. We got two guys.. one was on it moving at a good pace while the other guy was downstairs taking cigarette breaks and on his phone while on our dime (our neighbors are witnesses as well). We overheard the one taking his breaks tell the other dude "hey take your time and only move one thing at a time".. really?? I understand you should move things carefully as to not to hurt yourself but he meant otherwise. We tried to contact this company several times we know response. A week later we got a call on a Sunday and missed it and we got a msg that said "hello this is clutter calling you back.. I guess this incident is closed thank you" and hung up. All we wanted was to try to get this down to at least 3 hours of labor as this should not cost over $500.. our friends ended up coming over to help unload most of the truck otherwise this would have been an easy 6.5-7 hour move. Unbelievable. I've yet to hear back from them. read more

Update to my review, I originally wrote a one star review as during my move 2 of my mattresses were misplaced, one of them was never recovered and multiple pieces of furniture damaged. I am updating my review to 3/5 because they did find one of my mattresses and because after the troubles I dealt with and the damages I received some one finally reached out after about 2 weeks and they did refund me an appropriate amount for the loss of my mattress and the damages I received to my other household goods though I rather have never had these problems I have to give them credit for putting forth a strong effort to make things right. I do believe this was a fluke and not a great Representation to their company's normal operating standards as I have used them before with no problems. Original review: So I thought Clutter was a respectable business when I started using them and had them pick up all of my stuff and put it into storage. Then when I got my delivery of my house hold goods come to find out they are very disorganized and do not know where they store your stuff. I was missing two mattresses upon delivery which should have been with the rest of my shipment and come to find out they have no idea where they put them. The mattress's they lost value over $1500 Combined and they are only willing to cover $1 per pound which equals less than $200 for each. Also in my shipment I had someone else's personal belongings wrapped into my couch which they have no idea who that belongs to. It seems when the goods get to the warehouse they have no concern for where they put your belongings and no honor to pay the proper replacement for large items that mysteriously disappear. Multiple items of furniture also came back with broken pieces and legs as well as scratches. I'm still awaiting any compensation but so far doesn't seem like they will be willing to repay me for damages or losses even close to what it will cost. read more

I have had my items in storage for 2 months now and the service just continues to get worse. First off, the movers showed up an entire hour outside of the arrival window I was given, making me late for work and throwing my entire day off. Next, a box was lost and it has been a week since I submitted a claim and the issue still has not been addressed. The movers didn't even take a picture of it so i don't remember what all was in it, therefore my claim estimate is at a loss. I had a few items delivered from my unit, one of them being a TV, and the remote was not with it...I'm told that in order to find it, I can have all boxes delivered, to then rummage through every single box, in order to locate the remote. Are you kidding me. Absolutely absurd and inconvenient would be a major understatement. I also had a shelving unit delivered, and one of the shelves was missing! Honestly just extremely disappointed and would NOT recommend. Between being late for my moving appointment, lack of communication and losing several items, this whole process has been a nightmare. Update: Had more stuff delivered today and glass, broken. Also, knobs on my dresser were ALL broken, one of which is lost Seriously do NOT use these guys. I expressed my frustration to the movers (they have been great) and one of the employees actually informed me that Clutter has not been responding to an issue he has been attempting to get resolved for the past 1.5 weeks, and he is frustrated as well. It's one thing for customers to be upset, but for employees to feel the same says a lot. Overall, communication and response is HORRENDOUS. read more

This company is pure garbage they used to be makeshift moving. They are not a real storage company they use Amazon warehouse and you are not allowed to go to your storage unit...the phone number that they have is just there when u call it it tells you to use their portal and you have to request a call which can take up to 6+ hours a email which can take up to 5+ hours and the chat that u have to sit there n use...now if ur like most of the world and use your phone you have to sit there and keep their chat open n do nothing else or it will disconnect you from the actual chat... so getting to speak to an actual human is vague and takes hours especially for something so simple like updating an address they basically expect you to do everything.. the only thing they are good for is picking up your stuff it's so basically a scam once they collect you items...I had to hire a third party company to get my items bc they ONLY deliver in San Diego n that's it...I've been sitting here for 6 hours and they haven't showed up to do my truck to truck move they're not good for military just horrible ppl they respond very vague and don't care about the customer service part at all read more

Overall, I had a fairly good experience using Clutter. I had to move my furniture out of my apartment for a couple of weeks, so this service was perfect for moving my stuff out of my apartment, storing it for a couple of weeks, and returning it when I could get back into my apartment. I had a great experience with my movers. Alejandro and Anthony were extremely friendly and helpful, and took care to place all my furniture where I needed it. The website was also easy to use, and allowed me to view pictures of all of the items in my online account so I could choose which items I wanted back for the return. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my kitchen table was damaged at some point during the storage process. The table was packaged for storage in such a way that one of the legs broke completely off, so now I will need to buy a brand new table as a result. I did opt for the Protection Plan and have submitted a claim, so I hope to get reimbursed for the damage. read more
