My encounter with Clutter Storage has been an absolute nightmare, leaving me utterly frustrated, deeply disappointed, and questioning their dedication to providing satisfactory customer service. Despite my immediate notification of the stolen items and providing them with a police report, Clutter Storage callously insisted on storing them, demonstrating a complete disregard for my distressing situation and a shocking lack of empathy towards their customers. From the very beginning, when the account was transferred to my name without my consent, it was evident that Clutter Storage would follow their internal policies blindly, completely disregarding my police report and the information I shared. Despite making it clear that I would not pay for their storage fees, they obstinately stuck to their policy of retaining my stolen items for an entire six months, followed by an auction. To my disbelief, Clutter Storage not only failed to take prompt action to address the issue and offer support during this challenging time but actually insisted on persisting with the storage of my stolen belongings. Their dismissive attitude and lack of urgency were absolutely appalling, causing me to seriously question their commitment to ensuring the security and well-being of their valued customers. What should have been a straightforward resolution process turned into an exasperating back-and-forth with their customer service team. Despite my repeated pleas for them to remove my items from storage, they shamelessly evaded responsibility and failed to provide any meaningful resolution. It is profoundly disheartening to witness a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction display such blatant disregard for the trauma and inconvenience caused by theft. Furthermore, the complete lack of transparency and communication from Clutter Storage only exacerbated my frustration. The transfer of the account to my name without obtaining my consent was highly unprofessional. I woke up one day to discover my stolen items stored in a unit, accompanied by a demand for payment. It is utterly unacceptable for a company to dismiss the valid concerns of their customers, particularly when those concerns involve stolen property. Clutter Storage's behavior throughout this ordeal is nothing short of shocking, showcasing a severe lack of accountability and a complete disregard for customer care. In conclusion, my experience with Clutter Storage has been one of extreme disappointment and immense frustration. Their insistence on storing my stolen items, despite being fully aware of the theft and provided with a police report, exposes their astonishing lack of accountability and concern for their customers' well-being. I strongly caution anyone considering their services to think twice and explore alternative storage options that genuinely prioritize customer security and satisfaction. read more

Once in a while things that seem too good to be true... are actually THAT GOOD! Free packing? Free moving? Only pay for monthly storage fees? Unbelievable... but real. For real, for real. I was beyond skeptical about the quality of work to expect for such a low cost quote. I was skeptical the low quote might become super-inflated after the trucks were full. I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed. My 3 BR / 2 BA / 2 Family Room home is undergoing a major renovation therefore required Clutter to pack everything including dishes, glasses, silverware, clothes, shoes, bedding, toys, books, toiletries, pillows, furniture, (sinks, toilets, washing machines) take apart bed frames. Etc etc etc. I received a text notification when they were on their way & another saying they were close and another when they arrived. I love this level of communication. On time two large Clutter trucks showed up with 9 strong movers. They brought 100 medium boxes and got busy immediately documenting everything with photos, packing everything in the boxes and labeling them. The project manager, Francis, was very professional and explained everything about the process and answer all my questions. I didn't have to lift a finger. I was there to answer questions regarding if anything was supposed to remain in the home... a few things didn't need to be packed that were being sold. I left for a meeting and got a text with a question that I was conveniently able to answer. So impressed they involved my input and wanted to make sure I'm happy. I got another text with a link to the progress of their loading up the trucks. They had moved 3/4 of the rooms out and the link showed they had only filled 61% of my allotted space. They filled one truck with furniture and the other truck with boxes. They even moved a giant cabinet to the carport as a favor to me. When they were done the text with link showed my stuff only took up 81% of space allotted. The project manager, Francis, showed me my monthly fee will actually cost LESS than what I agreed to. Unheard of. Francis explained as different rooms remodel becomes completed, I could select certain items to be returned at different times by cross-referencing my item's photo catalog with item number then schedule xyz items to arrive on one date and abc items to arrive a few weeks later, for example. After some items come back to my house, the monthly fee gets reduced b/c takes up less storage space. I highly recommend trusting Clutter.com to pack/move/store your precious goods. read more

From the affordable pricing, to the sign up process, to the assistance with packing and moving, I was blown away with this incredible service. I was pleasantly surprised with the consistent follow up and information leading up to the move provided by Cailtlin H. Her cheery and warm call/emails made me feel secure in my choice, she answered every question I had patiently and she ensured I had all the information needed to move forward. Leading up to the big moving day, I received helpful check ins and remainders which kept me on track. Loved this and found it very user friendly. The day of the move, I was lucky enough to work with Ricardo and Josiah. This is where my experience went from 5 stars to 5+ stars. Ricardo and Josiah were both so friendly, professional and a genuine joy to work with. Packing and moving your home can be stressful and it can be nerve wrecking trusting anyone but yourself with your most precious belongings. They both took every bit of stress or worry out of the process. They packed and moved efficiently, had all the supplies ready to go and took care with every single fragile item with the attention I hoped for. What set them apart most was their customer service but their skill was very clear. I would strongly recommend using Clutter and cross my fingers that you receive Ricardo and Josiah as your A-player moving team. read more

Sometimes life hands you lemons, and it requires big and quick changes. That's where Clutter came in, to help us have an incredibly efficient and painless moving experience. We couldn't have been more grateful to find a service such as theirs that could do everything for us! Devon, David, Carlos, and the rest of the team did an amazing job communicating from start to finish, answering questions, and accommodating our needs. They were professional, personable, and fast. From the smallest piece of china to the biggest piece of furniture, everything was wrapped in high quality and professional products. Furthermore, every box and item is documented and photographed and uploaded into an online directory we'll be able to access any time. We feel confident that it is all in great hands! Also: one of the telling qualities of a great company is how their employees talk about it. From the start, I was impressed by how they - especially Devon and Carlos - really seemed to love their work and believe in what they were doing. It was neat to hear how proud they were of Clutter's achievements, and I believe that says a lot! I highly recommend the great team at Clutter, and I greatly appreciate them helping make a stressful situation so much more relaxing! read more

Clutter DIEGO! Style. was great with packing, listening, waiting, moving, lifting all my storage contents taking photos logging each item into inventory. Clutter is Cost effective. It's goes by the cubit feet not storage sized. Francis the lead took charge to make absolutely, all my exact wishes were met. He even waited til I jump my Van using. Verizon Him roadside assistance to juice-up my Van So I can unlock it to retrieve my items to be stored. Thank Brison for remembering to not pack personal photos he handed them to me personally. I had an accident that day... causing me not to tip. But the next day I was able to leave a tip for all three Clutter movers. Thanks Peter he suggested the correct size storage for the items on my list. If you remove an items from storage the monthly rental fee goes down automatically, you don't have to move your items to a smaller storage like other storage company offer. Security WoW!! No one is allowed to enter the Clutter storage Facility, only the employees; therefore, Keeping it Security. If you need your items they will bring them to you, you can see them online on your personal secure account. Thank you Clutter, for DeCluttering my home. Mona San Diego read more

I recently heard about Clutter and their economical storage services. My plan was to combine my two separate storage spaces and add additional items from my garage into a single storage space at Clutter. In talking with Randall the sales specialist he quoted a great price which was 1/3 of what I was currently paying. Randall kept an open communications with me through the move where he was always quick to answer all my questions. Clutter was real flexible on scheduling for the move allowing me time to prepare. They provided the packing materials and moving staff to make my move painless. The team that supported my move were nothing short of fantastic. I had Victor, Anthony and Mike support the move for me. They were friendly, extremely helpful and did an excellent job wrapping furniture and bar coding all of the items for storage. Victor was even able to consolidate my items to get my stuff into a smaller storage space giving me a lower monthly cost. I am confident my items will be safe in storage given the work they did. I look forward to working with Clutter as they store my stuff. They are professional and a class act! I will be recommending them to my friends and family. read more

This is by far the best company I have ever used for storing my personal stuff. The company is amazing! First of all they price match anyone else's prices for storage you can find in your area, all you have to do is show them the deal you found and they match it. PLUS, unlike anyone else they send out a delivery team to pack and load your stuff for you, take pictures and inventory all your items so you can request items to be returned individually and they do that limitless for free and they will do the drop off for free when your ready to end your service with them. But wait, there's more! Also as you downgrade your storage they'll reduce your storage diameter and reduce your monthly fee automatically! It's freaking awesome! I had my stuff picked up by Billy and Miguel. They both were super accommodating, very quick and efficient. Excellent customer service and very hard workers. I can't thank them enough, made a daunting job look like child's play. If you live in the San Diego area I would highly recommend requesting these two gentlemen you won't be disappointed, great hard working guys. Thanks again! Again if you're needing clutter stored, go with Clutter read more

I'm changing my review because although Clutter did make some major mistakes, they also corrected them very quickly. Instead of staying at a hotel to wait for them, I ended up buying a small mattress, Clutter reimbursed me for the mattress as well as gave me a $70 credit towards the return of my things. Other problems were they had told me all along it was only going to be two guys but day of, it turned out to be three. I had budgeted for two and got enough cash for a decent tip for two, but not so decent a tip for three movers. I felt bad for the movers, who were diligent, hard working and completed the job in a short period of time and I would have liked to have given them more $$ for the tip. Other issues were that things were broken. At the time I set up for the storage I was discouraged by the Customer Care people not to take the additional insurance, so I got very little back at the outset for the things that were broken, but Clutter then gave me an additional refund to offset this. So while Clutter has major issues in their communication with their customers, they do try to do right by their customers and that's why I'm changing my review. read more

I was skeptical about how this worked but the whole process was very simple. Victor, Miguel, and Joseph came to my home. 90% of the stuff that needed to go, was packed. The rest that was difficult to pack, this crew packed for me. They came in, and took amazing care of my things. Victor documented the whole thing. Victor, Miguel, and Joseph are my whole reason for writing this yelp, they represent the company amazingly. They were so professional and fast. Thank you Clutter for sending amazing employees. -They came picked up the items that go to storage -They will pack whatever you need to go into storage. -they load it up in the truck -they take it away -they store it. -you can have some or all of it back when you want it and where you want it. This is an amazing option for things like remodels at your house. If you're moving and there is a bit of delay when you leave one location and get into the next. If you have difficulty moving your stuff. If you don't want to spend hundreds on packing materials. Great job Clutter. Amazing job Victor, Miguel, and Joseph. read more

The entire experience has been better than what I expected. I'm always willing to give my business to start-up companies, but trusting a company with your possessions can be nerve-wracking. My experience with the sales rep, Michael, was fantastic. I myself work in Inside Sales, he was very well informed, listen to what I was looking for and made a fair suggestion. Our pick went smooth and our online experience is easy to navigate and intuitive. For someone who has a lot of Christmas boxes and camping gear, this service is great. The service is great for things that I don't want to store in my place, but want to have seasonally. The price is fair and honestly cheaper than any 5x5 that I was researching in San Diego. Most important is the time savings, the team is always communicative for pick up and drop off. They work diligently and are conscious of our valuables. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great deal and a stellar service. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect using Clutter but I was happily surprised. They sent a wonderful team of 3 ppl who really seemed to enjoy their job. They took great care in wrapping all my things and loading them up. (they did a way better job than I did packing) They were helpful and kind and kept me involved throughout the whole process. They were very careful to ask what I wanted taken and what I wanted left behind. It was the most stress free moving experience you could ever have! Honestly when I looked up storage pricing they are actually cheaper than most storage units to rent. With Clutter you get packers, movers, climate controlled units for your things AND you can go online and use the photo index of your items, and pick certain things you want brought to you! Good luck with that in your hot, inside, sketchy storage units. No thanks! I even found a $30.00 coupon on-line you would be stupid not to use them. AMAZING!!! read more

Truly an amazing process with these guys. I got my stuff moved by Shimmy, Josiah and Brian. Early arrival. Great customer service. It truly felt like having neighborhood friends pack my life up so I can start my new journey. I highly recommend using Clutter. It was easy to get my estimate started online too. Recommendation: If you do not know how much you'll need, call ahead, let them know what you have so you can get the appropriate size. It's a very easy fix if you underestimate but it did bring up my charge which factored a change in my budget. (If you're handling a much more stricter budget than I was, this may be an issue). Lucky for me, it was a fair price. I felt bad having underestimated the work I'd be putting Shimmy, Josiah and Brian through. But they didn't skip a beat. And encouraged the notion that everything was alright and they have things covered. I couldn't be more grateful. read more

I discovered this company after doing a little research for a typical move-out after a property sale. I went in hoping to find a good storage service, and came out finding a moving & storage company with very reasonable pricing. Carlos, Adolfo, and Alex were very professional. We took the time to prepare before they came, and they did a fantastic job boxing and wrapping furniture and kitchenware. They were very personable and spent time making sure we knew how the process worked, clearly explaining the contract, and photographing our items. These guys come off as pros and have a passion for their work. After countless moves in the past that were a major hassle, I'm happy to say this was a largely stress free process, and the pricing makes it an easy service to approach for even a small project. Love the flexibility and built in accountability. I strongly recommend this service. read more

I had to move out of my apartment because I had a flood and mold problems. I called Clutter Storage and got a great quote. They told me how it works. I scheduled them to come on Saturday and they showed up on time. Shimmy told me how this works, and they all started working right away. Shimmy, Taylor, David and Rob worked so hard and made me feel good. I had packed as much as I could in two days, and they packed everything else so nicely. They take pictures and have bar codes for each of your packages. Its so nice. I was so happy how they made me feel. They were all so nice and professional. I highly recommend Clutter Storage. Shimmy really took good care of me and my belongings. After dealing with all the stress from my apartment, I just want to say thank you so much, for making the move stress free. I can't thank you enough. read more

I have never written a Yelp review, but my experience this morning was so great that I have to share it with everyone! At first, Clutter seemed too good to be true - you're going to bring all the supplies, pack my stuff AND not only move it out, but you're going to store it too... I was suspect. But every step along the way put my anxiety at ease. When Francis, Joseph, and Rudy arrived I felt immediately that my stuff was in good hands. They were kind, courteous and fast. I was able to grade papers while they took care of everything. So far looks as though it was packed well (the true test will be when I get everything back in a few months). Literally every move has at some point brought me to tears... except this one! Stress-free! Hassle-Free! I will update this review when I get my stuff back! read more

I randomly found out about these guys by seeing one of their vans with advertising on it. My wife and I are getting ready to move in the next 3 months and we are putting our house on the market. Our garage was filled with so much stuff it was giving me a headache. Clutter storage came scooped everything up in a 16 ft truck. They are storing it for me and the. When I'm settled in my new house are going to drop it off. The pricing is not horrible either. The two guys who came to pack my stuff up were AMAZING. David and Carlos were the two guys. They worked their butts off to make sure we got everything done in the 2 hour period so that i wouldn't have additional charges. Highly recommend these guys. read more

I recently hired Clutter for my move, and I couldn't be more impressed! The two workers who came were absolutely amazing--professional, efficient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They made what can often be a stressful experience feel so much easier and more manageable. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze, and I really appreciated their flexible hours, which made it convenient for my busy schedule. Their attention to detail and care for my belongings truly stood out. I would rate my experience a solid 10/10! This is my second time using Clutter. So friendly, flexible and easy to work with. They showed up on the dot and were careful to wrap all of my belongings. Plus they take pictures of everything, so I know what is in each box. Would definitely recommend and use them in the future! When it was time to return my items, movers were great about communicating where they were, showed up on time and were positive, even with my heavy furniture. I am so thankful and appreciative that they were able to help me! I literally could not have done it without them. Reasonably priced considering how carefully everything is wrapped and stored. read more

Outstanding service. Clutter has nailed a wonderful solution for the storage and moving industry. I hope to see this company do amazing things because the service is truthfully wonderful. It was more competitively priced than me getting my own storage unit. For the San Diego Clutter team - Francis and Victor were phenomenal. They were on time, respectful, kind and careful with my belongings. They were very efficient with time - not rushed - but very fast!! I cannot express how HIGHLY I would recommend this company and service to anyone looking to store some extra things - or to move completely. Best service of 2018!! read more
