The day for the scheduled quote they called and asked to do everything over the phone - fine, though not great as we fit the time slot into our already busy schedule. The time we had scheduled for the cleaning passed, I waited 10 minutes then gave them a call. Was told that they were still an hour away. Immediately cancelled the service due to unprofessional conduct: a couple of minutes late is passable but not calling and being an hour late after confirming a time is unacceptable.

Everything was packed with great care and the items they unpacked were organized very nicely in our new home. They were very accommodating about removing our boxes and even notified us when they found a precious framed photo in the packing material we sent back to them. That photo was mailed back to us right away! Their service is very expensive. Because of this, we chose to do the unpacking after moving day by ourselves. Unfortunately, our moving day was extra long due to a snafu with the movers (see my review of Fuller moving company), so we went over estimate with New Leaf and not as much unpacking as we had hoped could be done. If I could do this again, I would have added an extra day of unpacking with New Leaf to help with the large boxes and more organization, but as I said before our budget was limited. Sara from New Leaf helped with negotiations with the moving company so we were not overcharged. Their services are very valuable for those of us with physical limitations who want to make moving less stressful. They are professional and very pleasant to work with. I recommend them highly for their services.

What I got for $730 was absolutely unacceptable: * Floors were still dusty. * Inside of cabinet drawers were untouched. * Marks on walls and light switches were ignored. * Even a ceiling mark from new lighting wasn't properly cleaned. To make matters worse, one of the workers was standing on my brand-new countertops in shoes (3 ft high) to reach my 9-ft ceiling because they didn't even bring a ladder or a pole attachment. Completely unprofessional and careless with my property. When I called, I was reasonable -- I even offered to pay $200 (close to what I pay for regular service) since some light cleaning was done. I asked for a partial refund of the difference. They refused and insisted on keeping the full $730. This company does not deliver what it advertises, shows no regard for customer property, and refuses to stand behind its work. Avoid at all costs.

The cleaner said something like, "We'll clean your house, and if we miss anything, we'll just go over it with you at the end." But what it really felt like was, "We're gonna do a half-done job and if you happen to catch it, we'll fix it--otherwise, oh well." There were so many things missed. Like yeah, the mirror looked spotless... until I touched the top and it was dusty. Same with the shower--looked great until you ran your finger along the top edge. But it wasn't just high-up stuff. There were bug guts on the wall, dirty handprints at eye level, and dusty baseboards. Just really basic things that shouldn't be skipped. I texted the owner, Jen, and she basically said, "Well, we offered to go over it with you but you refused." And I'm like, yeah--I was already frustrated, and your team clearly didn't know what they were doing if you're the "professional" and I have to point out your mistakes? If I have to walk around pointing out all your mistakes, I might as well have just done it myself. And if I had pointed out everything they missed, they would have been there the whole day. Attached are a few of the basic items that were overlooked. The service agreement feels like an empty promise--they listed a number of tasks that were either not done at all or done poorly. The cleaning team even told me they "spot clean only" and only address areas that look dirty to them. If something doesn't appear dirty, they don't clean it unless specifically asked. One particularly surprising example: the living room TV wasn't cleaned. When I reached out to Jen, she responded that "TV screens are not cleaned as they are sensitive electronics." That's odd, considering all the monitors and TVs upstairs were spotless. Thinking back, I'm actually noticing some issues with a few of my electronics now, so I may need to file a claim.

I paid for the rental and then left. I returned 2hrs later. When I returned there was a man at the desk he processed the paperwork. I asked if som of my money would be returned since it was not a full day. He stated they do not do that. I asked why not since that was something that i was always able to do prior. He stated that is something abba used to offer... at that moment I realized the company was not the same and that's why it looked different inside. We get to the place to pick it up that morning and they informed us they require a Class 3 receiver hitch. Bumper hitch not allowed. Tongue weight of splitter is less than 100 pounds. Towing and rental policies were not explained in detail. Had planned on renting other equipment from them but not now. They cost us money for the ball and the hired help in which we could use neither now without a splitter.
