The store was very well-kept, bright, and inviting. Service was a bit of a miss. The cashier seemed new and wasn't very familiar with the menu or ordering process, which slowed things down a bit. As for the food, the donuts came out hot and fresh. That said, they were very sweet. Almost overpoweringly so. If you have a big sweet tooth, you'll probably love them. If not, it might be a bit much after a few bites. Tried a breakfast sandwich as well... solid, but nothing memorable. Same goes for the coffee... perfectly fine, but didn't stand out in any way. Overall, it's a good concept with fresh-made donuts being the clear draw, but the experience as a whole landed right in the middle for me. I'd come back if I was specifically craving a warm donut, but not necessarily for anything beyond that.

Everything food-related is either made in-house or sourced locally. The brisket is good! .. I've had brisket in every state south of the Mason Dixon line. This is definitely on the top 10.. it's not as "fall apart" as the best I've had but the flavor is immaculate and it is still tender like good Brisket should be! The beer taps change regularly and they always feature seasonal brews from local breweries, along with their own. They host a lot of events as well. I've only been for weekday lunch so I can't say much about the events other than; it sounds like a lot of fun. All of the staff are great people and seem to enjoy what they do. Shout out to Eric. I don't know how to spell his name but he's a good rep for this place. Great service and really helpful when you're not quite sure what you want. He'll help you out. I'll have to stop by on a weekend sometime... They host live music and I bet the bands are as good as the brisket :) Try their Nachos!! I had to get a side order of chips so that all the toppings didn't go to waste. So good!

She ordered a cappuccino, and I went with the mushroom-turmeric latte sweetened with honey. Both drinks were well‑made and had their own personality. The cappuccino had smooth, velvety foam and a balanced espresso flavor -- simple, clean, and done right. My drink was earthy and warm with a gentle spice from the turmeric, and the honey rounded it out nicely. It's not something you see on every menu, and they executed it well. The shop itself has a relaxed, modern feel and makes for an easy stop whether you're grabbing something to go or settling in for a bit. We were walking back around to wait in the parking lot when one of my friends spotted this place across the street. I've eaten at the other restaurant a million times, but I had NEVER even noticed this place! It's tucked away in the corner behind the burrito place, and all I can say is, what a delightful surprise. The girls working behind the counter were SO nice, super welcoming, and really helpful with picking out what we wanted. The whole place has such a cute little vibe, and we decided to sit outside. They brought our food and coffees right out to us, which was so nice. And the coffee was amazing. Everyone loved theirs, including two of my friends who are serious coffee snobs, so that was a HUGE win. For the food, my crepe was absolutely delicious, and my friends loved their meals too. The strawberries and bananas were SO fresh, you could genuinely tell they had just been sliced. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. I fear the other popular brunch spot in that parking lot has some MAJOR competition now. Definitely give this place a try!!
