The hot weiner was OK, although it pretty much goes against every thing that people complain about when they evaluate them... The onions aren't chopped right. The sauce was okay. The buns weren't the right kind. And these are more a hot dog than a weiner. But overall they were decent. If you're looking for a quick lunch they would be fine, especially with those fries. The fries were actually great, very tasty with a nice salt blend. So good in fact, that I suspect the burgers and chicken are probably pretty tasty and worth stopping by for. The service was really good as well. Very nice people work there. They probably don't sell a lot of wieners because they're one store away from Sam's, but they are not a total waste of time either. Mostly an order ahead or drive-thru place. It's kind of awkward if you walk up.

Since…read moreopening, my friend and I have been talking about trying this place so l am glad we finally made it happen. We went on a Wednesday afternoon, so it was calm. We ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, an order of wings (3), and an order of spicy tater tots. The total came out to about $35 which is fair. Before paying, they did warn us that they function on a made to order style for freshness so the wait would be about 20 minutes; we were fine with that. While we waited, I took in my surroundings and noticed the fun posters they have on one side and the bright red chairs to contrast the wooden tables which I liked. Our food was done after about 15-20 minutes and it was still very hot. We had to wait a couple minutes to eat the chicken wings so we started with the tots and chicken sandwich. The tots did have a spicy seasoning on them but I wish they were evenly coated; it seemed like the seasoning was added afterwards to only the top side. They were a bit overcooked, so crispy, but the inside wasn't as soft. The chicken sandwich was great. The chicken was tender, thick, big, and a little spicy from the chili oil - but nothing unbearable. The ranch slaw was crunchy and creamy for a texture contrast. More ranch wouldn't have hurt. The bun was also surprisingly very good, slightly sweet. The chicken wings were crispy on the outside, juicy and hot on the inside. The fried (or battered) skin was thin, which allowed for the taste of the chicken to still be present. They do give you options on dipping sauces and we chose hot honey, but it also came with ranch which tasted homemade. The bathrooms are clean, the staff is nice, and parking is plenty since it's in a plaza.

When I submitted my order, it gave me a timeframe of an hour, which surprised me. I decided to call and cancel my order since it felt too long to wait for tenders, especially since I called within five minutes of placing it. The person on the phone asked for my name and let me know that my order was actually ready, even though the app said I had to wait an hour. I feel like this might be happening to a lot of customers, which could explain why online orders are cold as many reviews on here and TikTok have expressed. The food may have been ready for a while, but the app provides a timeframe that is not accurate. I went to pick it up and tried the chicken. It was actually warm and delicious. I was very surprised. The chicken tasted fresh and crispy, exactly how you would expect it. Also, the girl who answered the phone was very kind and helpful, which changed how I felt about the service. I would go back again.

I stood at the window for a good 3 minutes waiting to order while, said "kid", seemed to be avoiding me. Their food truck can be a bit of a hunt, but they keep their location updated on Instagram, and the chase is absolutely worth it. From the jump, they were super friendly and genuinely excited that I sought them out just to try the food. Always a great sign. As for the wings I went with their recommendation: the Original Bo's Sauce, a sweet buffalo-style sauce. The wings were dredged with a perfectly crispy coating, cooked just right, and tossed generously in sauce. They come with your choice of blue cheese or ranch. To be honest, these were some of the best wings I've had this month, balanced, flavorful, and addictively good. I also ordered the onion rings, which came in a huge portion of battered, fried sweet onions. Crispy, not greasy, and paired with a tangy remoulade that took them over the top. Absolute win. Unfortunately no photos this time, I dug into them before remembering to snap one (a problem that speaks for itself). Bottom line: Bo's Wings & Rings is 100% worth seeking out. If you're even remotely serious about wings in Rhode Island, put them on your must-try list. I'll definitely be tracking them down again.

The Box East Bay is a gourmet taco stand that opened in Warren, Rhode Island in June 2019. It was…read morefounded by Matthew King. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, King has 35 years of experience working for a major contract food service facility that focused on the leisure and entertainment segment. Eventually he decided that he wanted to be his own boss. King came up with an idea to develop food trailers that can convert to multiple concepts. For his first project, he intended to sling pizzas on his Italian-made wood-burning oven. His girlfriend convinced him to focus on tacos instead. King's tacos were essentially a hybrid between traditional street tacos and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas. All tortillas are handmade by himself with a mixture of wheat flour and corn. He converted a vintage former horse trailer into a retrofitted food stand outfitted with a removable wood-burning oven. King cleared out an area on his front lawn to permanently park the trailer. The operation was dubbed "The Taco Box" when it first opened, but by July 2022 it was renamed "The Box East Bay" to reflect its growing menu. My family and I visited The Box this past August while we were driving back home from a week-long trip to Cape Cod. We stopped along the East Bay Bike Path in Warren for a bathroom break and to grab some frozen lemonades from Del's. We looked across the street, saw The Box and thought that some street tacos would make a delicious lunch. We had no idea what we were in for. The food stand is surrounded by a beautiful garden and some picnic tables for customers to sit at. We started off with a plate of "Chips & Pico with Guacamole": something quick to get our appetite going. Then my wife and I ordered the "Shrimp Taco" (wild caught Gulf of Mexico shrimp, red onion, shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime vinagreta) and "Street Corn Taco" (flame roasted corn, black beans, charred sweet mild chilies, avocado, lime garlic mayo) to share as well as a "Cheese Quesadilla" for our son. We were shocked when we received our tacos. Not only were they huge but they resembled Neapolitan pizzas more than tacos. We folded them in half and ate them like a taco. The tortillas were crunchy and charred on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. These tacos were spectacular; just busting with flavor from the fresh ingredients (some of which were grown right in the garden). We are so happy that we discovered The Box by accident and would definitely stop again the next time we find ourselves in Warren!
