This review is certainly long overdue considering how much I love their Chicken. This has to be some of the most flavorful and moist rotisserie chicken Ive had. Chicken falls off the bone and the skin is amazing !!!! My son is a super picky eater but he never turns down chicken from here (and for that I am forever grateful). Its so nice to have a healthy option to eat at that fills you up without making you feel guilty. The owners are very friendly too , always greeting you when you enter and pleasant to interact with. They create such a warm atmosphere with how they interact with me that I have occasionally opted to eat in with my 2 year old picky eater. I highly recommend this business. I stopped by on Tuesday to place an order for a luncheon on Saturday. When I arrived on Saturday around 11:15, Oscar was incredibly helpful--he rolled everything out to my car and assisted with loading it up. He was super friendly and made the pickup process smooth and easy. We ordered the package that serves 25, but since we had 30 guests, they recommended adding two extra chickens. This place had been popping up in my feed recently and I was in the mood for some good Mexican-style rotisserie chicken, so we decided to try this place tonight for dinner. They have a great location in the Stater Bros shopping center on Day Creek. Prices are also pretty reasonable. We opted for the mini meal which is one full chicken, tortillas, salsa, a medium bean, rice and potato salad. Having never eaten here before, I opted to get an additional 1/2 chicken and extra salsa to make sure we had enough, and hopefully some for leftovers. The chicken was absolutely delicious. The citrusy flavor was bold and bright. I'm glad I got the extra half chicken because we devoured it. The tortillas were warm and fresh. The salsa was flavorful and had little bits of carrot in it. The sides were rather small for being labeled as "medium" but we had enough. The beans were really good. I liked the rice, which had small chunks of chicken in it as well, but my kids did not. The potato salad was honestly quite bland and was hardly touched. I would definitely come back here for the chicken, tortillas and salsa. My experience was wonderful at Cluck and Pollo. It always is very pleasant. Oscar greets you with a hello or welcome and always with a smile. The woman that works there with is just as nice. Both of them engage in positive and uplifting conversations with their customers while they're preparing our food. The food is fresh and very delicious, especially the potato salad. I had only eaten my Mom's potato salad and she's from Mississippi in the South, until I tasted Cluck n Pollo's potato salad. My mom became sick and couldn't take care of herself anymore, so I sure looked forward and knowing that Cluck n Pollos potato salad is the closest to the way my mom's taste. The ambiance is very inviting, especially because your smell the wonderful aroma of the chicken and other foods cooking as you open the door and go in. The rotisserie chicken here is so juicy and flavorful! We always get the family pack which has: two rotisserie chickens, rice, beans, potato salad and flour tortillas. We have enough for two days with this meal and it's pretty affordable! They also have other food items, like flautas and taquitos. Sometimes I like to order for parties (they have party platters) and my guests always love it! Service was great and the store was clean and spacious! Finally did myself the service of checking them out and the only thing I regret is not trying them out sooner. Originally I went in tried their burrito which was solid. Pretty big loaded with chicken, rice and beans. Got to speak to the owner who is a down to earth guy, Oscar, Oscar you run a hell of store. He loves what he does and makes sure you as a customer get your money's worth. He has good energy and hyped up his food having me come by a few days later to actually try there food.
