I have to just give a big shout out to the staff because every time I go there it's always super friendly and everybody's so extremely nice. Now here's the part that you may not notice if you're not paying attention. When you walk in, there's a big dessert display case, most people noticed that. But if you look to the bottom, there's a row of sandwiches, I believe they're barbecue bologna sandwiches. Friday night I was there and I witnessed people coming in asking for a lunch to go. They were given a sandwich, a bag of chips and I believe a soda or something to drink. I asked my waitress what that was about, she said the people that come in that asked for a lunch to go are generally unhoused. I asked how often they do that and she replied every day and then inquired about how many sandwiches they think they make a day. She kind of laughed and said there's no telling 100 or more. The excellent food makes me want to stop here, but the kindness of the owners and the staff of this place is what will keep bringing me back over and over. God bless them

I will have to say the country potatoes were deep fried to perfection and crunchy. And prices were good. I'll like to come back and try their sweet cream pancakes. So that's my honest opinion.

It takes at least 60-90 minutes to get your meal, which is usually wrong, and good luck getting drinks or appetizers. They are always woefully understaffed, and typically the staff seems like they hate being here as much as we do (tonight was an exception, staff was friendly).
