The music vairys each night from cheesy pop to R&B and HipHop. It can get very hot inside and very crowded however it all adds to the experience and definatly worth a visit if you're in the area!

Ranging from rock, metal, R&B, dance, electro... they'll have a lot of different sorts of music playing. If you ask the DJ nicely you can sometimes get a requested song played. The Met Lounge has a very nice, friendly and social atmosphere. This is despite it feeling like an underground party location rather than a mainstream club. My only complaint with the Met Lounge is the floors and surfaces. No matter when you go in (even if you're the first one there) the tables, floors and counters are ALWAYS sticky! Otherwise a pretty decent venue :)

As it is open many nights, it makes going out a lot easier, and gives clubbers a wider choice in when to go. Most nights have free entry till a certain time, and even some nights where drinks are 'buy one get one free', making it extremely popular. There are themed nights throughout the year, and to celebrate this there is always something good planned to entertain. There is a great group of bar staff who are always friendly, and the doormen are also friendly and often helpful. When going here you are guaranteed a great night.

It has three different areas that offer different types of music in each area, such as dance, chart music, hip hop and 80's music with plenty of classic cheesy music as well. The DJ are very experienced and help to make the night as fun as possible. The main club room has comfy seating as well as a good sized danced floor and even pole to dance around if you are that way inclined. The staff are all very friendly and deal with any trouble quickly and without fuss.

But while there, I accidentally bumped into some lady smoking where then she told me to "WOTCH IT!" Also, there seemed to be more guys and girls. You know what that means (I'll let that simmer for a bit). I also couldn't really enjoy their music, not because I didn't like it but moreso because I couldn't get used to it. But everyone around me seemed to enjoy it, what with it being stuff from the U.S. and other countries. The crowd there was very diverse too, especially both young and old. Mostly old. Overall, if I was back in the area I would comeback just to party here one more time. I know there aren't that many clubs/ night spots in Cambridge but the Fez is a good club to check out if you're in the area.

I recently had a bad experience with one of the bouncers on the door, (pure mis communication, I…read moredidn't realise it was policy to check your jackets into the cloak room, and instead of explaining to us that we had to do this the bouncer was unnecessarily rude & aggressive toward me when I attempted to walk on toward the bar). I've always had a really good night out when I've been in the past, so me & my friends decided to put the incident behind us and stay, but it did put a downer on our evening before it had even begun. I'm not normally one to complain but I contacted pinks via their website & explained what happened. They were incredibly helpful & have so far been apologetic, which made made me feel better about contacting them. It initially put me off going again, but as they've been so helpful I would definitely go back & recommend them for a good night out.
