"We held our Wedding Reception in Deans on Saturday 6th July 2013. We hired the Majestic Suite. From the initial planning stages the event co-ordinater Joe, helped organise our event every step of the way. The day before, Joe called us to check everything was in place and double checked everything we had asked for. He had also arranged for the venue decorators to come in and decorate early and had coordinated with them. When we arrived for the reception, there had been a problem with the food, and it had not arrived from the caterers (Separate company). However Joe discreetly came over to explain that he had chased up the caterers, and our guests had been seated in the main bar whilst the food was set up. He really worked so hard to keep everything running smoothly and done much more than we could have ever expected. All of the staff at Deans worked very hard on our special day, and were very friendly, polite and smiley! Many of our guests, whom had never been into Deans, commented on the Majestic Suite. They said it was lovely, and Perfectly sized. Its also nicely decorated and modern, and clean. Our guests had plenty of room to sit, or dance but without feeling swamped in a large function room. We had our own private toilets and could also use the main bar areas and outdoor area. (Which is also lovely!) The prices are extremely competitive.
