A gorgeous club in terms of decor! Good for a party but could do with more seats.

We had a long journey ahead of us so booked a table for 3 for 6.30pm and fell through the door at opening time. There's a nice bar and a spacious yet cosy lounge with big sofas and comfy chairs. Lounge and Restaurant was a bit of an off-putting description for me but that's what it is and it was a very pleasant surprise. I had to settle for Black Sheep but it was well kept and there was a good choice of draught lagers. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful and we sat with our drinks whilst looking through the menu. The place was cold as the heating had failed, it was sub-zero outside and little more inside. We were told that they were trying to do something about it and after enduring the cold for maybe thirty minutes a battery of electric heaters arrived as friends and family rallied round to keep the show on the road. Food was excellent, fresh and well cooked. My one quibble would be that it was over generous and the huge dishes of chips and salad were overwhelming and so some was wasted. Nevertheless we shall most certainly be back. This local restaurant deserves support and it was really busy by the time we left despite the appalling weather conditions. We'll definitely be back soon !!!! Lots of parking spaces and dress code I should say is smart casual. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity on offer.

Letchworth was founded by Ebenezer Howard in 1906, and being a Quaker he forbade alcohol and pubs etc within the city limits. That is not common for Brits - who love their beers and gin and tonics!! So the growth of pubs and licensed premises in the last decade or two has been "refreshing"!! Both Mrs G and I loved this place! On day 1 Mrs G went for a burger which she liked very much indeed, while I opted for the full English breakfast which was excellent! We both had juices (no booze!!) while on day 2 we both took the buttermilk pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Rare in England and delicious. Service was outstanding, warm and friendly. The whole ambience was wonderful - families, friends, mums and babies groups. Bright, airy, spacious and in the warm weather a beautiful indoor/outdoor experience. Yes of course we will be back next time that we are in Letchworth again!!

Exceptional customer service, a very thoughtful gesture and presented with a smile and a very professional and accommodating attitude. I will always recommend Cultivo Lounge for a casual meal or drinks, any time of day. Thanks Lizzy and Josh. See you again next time.

Compared to a lot of the pubs I frequent, this one is quite large and open, but it is also a brewery. When you walk in, there are some couches against the wall, but the centre is just open, no tables, no chairs, just a lot of floor space. There is also a second floor that overlooks the floor space... and the bar. I wanted to try a couple of their brews, so I had a half pint of the Bishop's Farewell... mostly because of the fantastic name. Didn't enjoy it. On my second go, had a half pint of the Citra, still a lighter beer, but had a slight finish of citrus which was refreshing and helped curb the bitterness. Eventually there was some music in the background, but overall it was a nice place to get a drink.

This British thing of ordering the food at the bar even though you are seated somewhere is different but my friends did end up ordering food here and they enjoyed it while I put my calories down the old fashion way. I tend not to think of this place as a pub but a casual eatery that serves lots of local beers, that would help me put this place into perspective with its wide open areas and modern layout, decor and furniture. The food selection didn't seem to be from a pub either, asian food. Hmmm, not understanding this from a beer perspective here but whatever keeps the populace coming back. Most of the beers here were pretty good, I had quite a few that night so I can't even remember really which ones I had so come and grab a pint or two or many.
