Service reached 3 stars because our server (Dean) was genuinely helpful and took our orders when asked quickly and efficiently. They also appeared to be the only one actually working as I didn't see another member of staff on the floor other than behind the bar.
However on the previous occasion and this occasion the food wasn't great. Including incorrect meals coming out of the kitchen.
However on this occasion we were approached once for drinks order with no follow up! Waited over an hour and a half for our food to be delivered to the table. This is only because I called a member of staff over and asked how long, such a coincidence it then arrived at this time. However not such a coincidence because the food come out cold, so must of been ready a while.
The standards of the food did not come out as expected with Yorkshire Puddings tasting stale. You could tell it had been sat under a heat lamp for a while
At no point did anyone let us know food was an hour wait, not once did anyone ask if we would like any more drinks, nor did anyone come back and ask if the food was okay.
On two out of two occasions the Paul Pry has been let down by its staff, there is no organisation, staff are running around aimlessly dean on this occasion and a few others on previous occasion.
The staff on both occasion do not seem to be trained to a high enough standard you would expect and sometimes cannot answer basics.
On the previous occasion there was a power cut, so we ate under torch light and we were still expected to pay full price, and when told we only had Apple Pay and card we were ordered to go find a cash machine. Even a small discount for sitting under our own lighting would have been great.
