It is however very expensive for a Friday and Saturday night if you enter the club after 11 and for what you get, I don't feel it is worth it! So be sure to enter earlier to get the offers! The music vairys each night from cheesy pop to R&B and HipHop. It can get very hot inside and very crowded however it all adds to the experience and definatly worth a visit if you're in the area!

Ranging from rock, metal, R&B, dance, electro... they'll have a lot of different sorts of music playing. If you ask the DJ nicely you can sometimes get a requested song played. The Met Lounge has a very nice, friendly and social atmosphere. This is despite it feeling like an underground party location rather than a mainstream club. My only complaint with the Met Lounge is the floors and surfaces. No matter when you go in (even if you're the first one there) the tables, floors and counters are ALWAYS sticky! Otherwise a pretty decent venue :)

Got to love heat stroke on a winter night, eh? Went to an event last night at Club Revolution…read more Downstairs was one event, and upstairs another. Two different events simultaneously going on. The upstairs event has fans, I was told, never made it upstairs, but the downstairs facility has no ventilation. I'm talking steaming hot windows from all the heat the people generated from the inside. I went through about 8 bottles of water trying to cool myself, although I was dancing to some really good music and dressed in fancy dress, but my costume was tiny and skin baring, I still managed to get heat stroke. I left around 2:00a.m. with my temperature boiling and headed back to the hotel. Luckily my background in medicine allowed me to pull through without going to the hospital but there were times I was really scared that I wasn't going to make it on my own and even more fear of going to a foreign medical facility. This should never have happened, and I am sure I am not the only person plagued with heat stroke that evening. I took many breaks and went outside, but even outside became stricken with heat from all the people trying to cool themselves off. There is one bar, not a very sound facility. Looks like a store that was renovated into a club that isn't really even a club now. They need to install windows and fans to cool off their patrons. Not a good experience.

As it is open many nights, it makes going out a lot easier, and gives clubbers a wider choice in when to go. Most nights have free entry till a certain time, and even some nights where drinks are 'buy one get one free', making it extremely popular. There are themed nights throughout the year, and to celebrate this there is always something good planned to entertain. There is a great group of bar staff who are always friendly, and the doormen are also friendly and often helpful. When going here you are guaranteed a great night.

It has three different areas that offer different types of music in each area, such as dance, chart music, hip hop and 80's music with plenty of classic cheesy music as well. The DJ are very experienced and help to make the night as fun as possible. The main club room has comfy seating as well as a good sized danced floor and even pole to dance around if you are that way inclined. The staff are all very friendly and deal with any trouble quickly and without fuss.

The good thing about this place is they don't charge you for cover (well at least when I went) and dress codes aren't strict (I guess cuz they assume everyone in Europe has a good sense of style). Last I was here my friends and I got there early enough to get a booth and ordered ourselves drinks before we hit the dancefloor. But while there, I accidentally bumped into some lady smoking where then she told me to "WOTCH IT!" Also, there seemed to be more guys and girls. You know what that means (I'll let that simmer for a bit). I also couldn't really enjoy their music, not because I didn't like it but moreso because I couldn't get used to it. But everyone around me seemed to enjoy it, what with it being stuff from the U.S. and other countries. The crowd there was very diverse too, especially both young and old. Mostly old. Overall, if I was back in the area I would comeback just to party here one more time. I know there aren't that many clubs/ night spots in Cambridge but the Fez is a good club to check out if you're in the area.

For the taller person this place is a little cramped but I'm used to that now but it can be a hit hairy after afew and you forget to duck. Also the coat check is a joke, there is no real queue and it's basically just a free for all to get your coat in or out ad this means it drops a star as a good coat check is the mark of a good club. All in all it's not a bad night out, especially seeing as cambridge has little else to it's name.

I recently had a bad experience with one of the bouncers on the door, (pure mis communication, I…read moredidn't realise it was policy to check your jackets into the cloak room, and instead of explaining to us that we had to do this the bouncer was unnecessarily rude & aggressive toward me when I attempted to walk on toward the bar). I've always had a really good night out when I've been in the past, so me & my friends decided to put the incident behind us and stay, but it did put a downer on our evening before it had even begun. I'm not normally one to complain but I contacted pinks via their website & explained what happened. They were incredibly helpful & have so far been apologetic, which made made me feel better about contacting them. It initially put me off going again, but as they've been so helpful I would definitely go back & recommend them for a good night out.
