Well guys--I am one class away from #400!! I am so proud of myself for sticking with this; however, it is so easy to stick with something that is so good for you plus you have the guidance of excellent instructors and excellent management. Many of us I know spend a small fortune on "anti-aging" products. I have to say that of all the products I have tried, this is probably the very best money spent on antiaging. My husband goes to classes there regularly and he loves it. I can definitely see some great results in his muscle tone. I tried the intro class and really enjoyed it, so I signed up for a membership. Unfortunately, it was a little too much for my back. I have herniated discs causing sciatic pain that need to be treated. I talked to the store manager Lindsey about it. It is a beautiful space overlooking the lake, with high ceilings, ceiling fans, great music, friendly staff, nice reformers, spring wall, extra equipment for workouts and most importantly- fabulous instructors! Since Covid, I honestly haven't worked out. I know, I know... maintaining health should be a major priority but, I tried working out a a gym and it's too crowded, sweaty, seemed dirty, and honestly, I felt more chaos in my brain and body so I quit. It's too cold outside or too hot...you know Houston, right?!? So I tried a lot of things and PILATES works sooooi great for me! I visited this location and they greeted me with smiles and a ton of information. No pressure just a great conversation. I signed up and am soooo addicted now. Talk about an exercise that doesn't really feel like exercise but the next day you're all sorts of sore because you totally had a full workout. You mentally focus on your body and breathing and walk out after class with a rested, positive outlook!! The venue off Louetta is super clean, airy and bright. I felt safe trying awkward things and trying new feats I hadn't done before. The instructors are calm, competent, patient, and experienced. Love love love this place and the people!! read more

I went through a ClassPass to try out their cardio Pilates beginner class. I have never done e Pilates and this class was pretty easy to follow along and figure out. The instructor was great and she made sure we were always doing our exercises correct and described the movements with great detail. It's very low impact but I had sore muscles the next day. I have been going to Club Pilates-Klein for a couple of years now and can attest to the benefits of reformer Pilates. Every one of the instructors are well-trained and knowledgeable regarding Pilates itself and will assistance/guidance when needed or when asked (quite often they can spot an issue with technique before you know it is an issue!). Recently I had knee replacement surgery and am now just getting back into physical activities and the Center and Balance class has helped with the much needed strengthening and stretching. They do a great job of making sure that we are doing the moves correctly and benefiting our bodies. The moves are low impact, yet my muscles feel it the next day. Unlike other places that are similar but not traditional Pilates methods you know you are getting instructed movement from highly trained instructors similar to what you would find in physical therapy. Club Pilates - Klein is a great studio! All of the instructors are knowledgeable and very friendly. A great atmosphere.

Pilates is an excellent exercise, and this studio is great... until it's time to cancel or transfer your membership. Then, the nightmare begins. Unlike most subscription-based gyms, Club Pilates doesn't allow users to cancel/modify/transfer their memberships online. Instead, you need to contact the franchise owner directly and request a cancellation. This means: if they ignore your calls, they can continue to bill your card (in my case, $400/mo) indefinitely. Your only recourse is to cancel that card. There's plenty of pilates studios out there. My advice: pick one that gives you full control of your membership. read more

I love this place! I've been going consistently for about a month now. My core is getting stronger- something I NEVER used to work out.
