I had never done pilates till 4 days ago. I took an intro class, which is complementary and If you just want to see if it's for you I would highly recommend. The intro class was about 30 -40 mins and took us through a basic mini work out. By no means did I feel like we were given a easy work out to make us feel a certain way but a true taste of what a real class is like. It's a low impact work out which engages your core throughout as well as every other muscle group, at least I felt like it did 2 days after. This morning I had my first official class. And I loved it! By no means am I an athlete or athletic, but at no point did I feel like it was unattainable for me to complete. Was it easy? No. I struggled at points my muscles were shaking at certain tasks. Everything worth doing is a challenge. Both instructors I encountered Gabriella for intro and Laura for my class today reformer 1. Both were kind and professional and very helpful for a newbie like me. I signed up for 3 months but wouldn't be surprised if I stay a lifetime! Price points. I will say before club pilates came to town I had researched other studios in the area and the reason I had never gone was the cost. Although club pilates is still more expensive then a monthly gym membership, I know plenty of people who pay monthly and never go, I have done it. I would rather pay for something I know I enjoy and will do. So there are membership tiers 4 classes a month, 8 a month, unlimited. Or you can pay per class. They are franchises and I'm not sure if prices vary per franchise. But for 4 x month I believe I'm paying 109. A single class was 29? I think. If I'm wrong correct me and I'll update it. read more

Club Pilates Bridgewater is extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. I was charged $314 for a month I couldn't use, and Mary-Kate (the manager) refused to credit or adjust my account--despite admitting she had the power to. She sent dismissive emails, applied policies arbitrarily, and when I asked to escalate, told me the owner doesn't allow their contact info to be shared. Add in their broken waitlist system, unfair fees, and the clear difference in how minorities are treated compared to white members, and it's obvious this studio has no respect for its clients. read more

If you take classes here you will receive the care, dedication, and attention to detail that you would want from every fitness professional. This place has some serious work to do! The instructors are nice enough. My issue is with the membership and what the did to me and how they treated me as a customer. I purchased a 3 month membership with my Amex & also bought a pair of socks with my debit card. I got charged 1month membership on my Amex and then my debit card was being debited the next 2 months for the membership. It took me some time to realize what was going on. When I brought it to their attention Maryann , asked me what took me so long. After she continually cuts me off and is just damn rude. I hang up in disgust. Five days later I get the following text message. Hi Giselle, Thank you for allowing us the time to help you- The attendant by mistake allowed the visa to remain on after the purchase of grip sox . Barbara is in tonight to assist updating back to the Amex. Are they crazy? Stay out of my accounts! No membership is worth this and your customer service sucks! Here it is February 27,2019 and Maryann just called me to find out which credit card I want to charge my membership to. She's following up from out last call. Are you kidding me? I joined in the fall & try to go 2-4 times a week. I have absolutely loved every class I've taken. The instructors are absolutely phenomenal! I never feel bored or overwhelmed. I am truly grateful for the expertise, continuous support and positivity that is provided by each and every one of the instructors at the Chimney Rock location. Joining this particular group has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. If you're thinking about joining, do it! Parking is never a problem, the club is clean, the music is always good, & the front desk staff are very personable. This place is truly a gem! read more

I joined Club Pilates Bridgewater in the Spring, never having done it before, and I could not be any happier with the level of instruction I have received. I look forward to my classes twice a week, and hope to be able to go to an unlimited membership when I have additional time to dedicate to Pilates in the Spring! I tried to resolve this with them before writing a bad review, but whats not right is not right! They opened a new location and sucked people in with offering 20% off the membership for the first 3 month (which is still almost $200 a month for unlimited). What they didn't tell was that they only gonna offer 20% of their total classes. So I'm paying $200 a month for an unlimited membership, and i either cant get into a class cause its full, or i have to take level 1 beginners class thats beneath me. After i explained to them that i was disappointed and didn't want to continue, i was told that i had a contract for 3 month and to cancel i would be charged $100 plus one more month of membership. I wouldn't be canceling if it was worth my time and money. They basically scammed me, and then want to charge to cancel. What kinda business does that? The manager Jeff said thats how gyms work, and there is nothing they can do. Im in shock. This is not how you treat customers especially when you are the one thats not delivering what you promised. Save your money and go somewhere else where at least it will be worth your time. And for that amount there are many options out there. read more
