I love working out at Club Pilates in Metuchen! I started out in October doing the 4 classes a month and within a few weeks, switched to the unlimited because I enjoyed it so much. Is it super super cheap? No...but it's worth investing in myself and my health. Plus I go so often that classes come out to around $10 each. I've really loved challenging myself in Kathleen, Jared, and Dara's classes - they're all really great instructors! Overall the staff in Metuchen is friendly, helpful, and the studio is well kept and clean. Definitely recommend giving Club Pilates a try in Metuchen! read more

This was my first Pilates experience ever and it was excellent. While home for the holidays, my mom, sister and I dropped in for the Center + Balance 1 (50 minute) class with Adina Pintilie. The Club and members were very welcoming to new students. The equipment is brand new and everything was very clean. During the class, each step was calmly explained step-by-step with careful consideration for each persons abilities. Adina asked if anyone had back, neck, or other pain and gave alternate moves for those with any trouble. If you were performing the move incorrectly, Adina would physically adjust your pose and movement. One time I said sorry for doing something incorrectly and she said, "Don't apologize! If you apologize I will make you apologize for apologizing!" And everyone laughed. There was a camaraderie in the class. It was not a competition. There are lots of different classes to try. Your first intro class if free. I believe a typical one time drop-in class is $35. They also have a "hotel" pass for out-of-town visitors, $70 for 3 classes. read more

Classes are taken up weeks in advance and tons of people are on the waitlist making it hard to get into a class. Also, my biggest complaint is the instructor GINA. She was incredibly rude to me when I walked into a class exactly 5 minutes late which is the allocated time to be late. She loudly reprimanded me and immediately judged me (either as a result of my body or race?) as someone who has never done pilates before (even though I've done it several times at various studios). Throughout the class she would make references to the number of classes I've taken there with her and say that I shouldn't try any hard exercises. I will no longer be returning due to the discomfort she caused me. The other instructors are great though! And the front desk staff are kind. read more

My experience at this studio was good until I cancelled my membership. I emailed a month prior to cancel membership and spoke to a rep that same day. I made it clear I had no intention to extend, and they offered to extend membership period so I can fit into February classes because all night classes were full from 12/23-1/23. (8pm) I found out on the day that they were still going to charge my account on 1/23. They emailed me this saying I will not be able to take last class, which I still paid for and couldn't take because of limited night class offerings. This is how they treat a member who spent over $300. So glad I cancelled my membership. read more

I'm a Club Pilates member in Las Vegas where I live and was visiting family in New Jersey and wanted to try out a class. When I registered for the Metuchen studio Jenna texted me the next day to check to see if I had any questions or needed help booking. She was friendly and very responsive which was a great first impression. I was on the waitlist and decided to go by the studio to see if a member did not show up. I was greeted by Jenna and the instructor Nicole. They were both super friendly and the studio was so lovely. It is so spacious! I ended up making it into the class and was so happy. Nicole is a great instructor and I really enjoyed the 1.5 class. I am looking forward to coming again when I'm back in NJ! Thanks for a great experience. read more

I've been a member since January 2022 and I'm so pleased to have join this studio! The instructors are great - shout out to Molly and Gina. The classes are never the same. I subtracted a star due to parking - the apartment complex and the various signs do not make it easy to find a spot at times. Additionally, there is only one bathroom and there can be upwards of 25 people in the facility at one time when classes change over. Lastly, the weekend classes book quickly and I find myself on the waitlist constantly for weekend classes. Overall I'd give it 4.5 stars if yelp allowed. read more

A friend and I recently joined Club Pilates Metuchen. And...I must say...the best decision I have made in a long time!!!!! I paid for the 8 classes for the month package. Regarding pricing, I believe it to be a moderately priced, considering some other wellness programs I have previously joined. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to finish my classes with work and overall life to navigate; however, to date I have completed five classes. The studio offers early morning and late evening classes, so it is doable!!! I have experienced several instructors. I have taken both the Reformer Flow and Cardio Sculpt. I feel great and look forward to continuing on my wellness journey. The location is convenient and the studio is extremely clean. The instructors are wonderful, personable, encouraging and give great works. Oh, did I mention I am sore as HECK. The staff are super friendly! All and all, a must location to join. I think I am a Pilates convert for sure. read more

While pilates is not for me and I won't be renewing my membership I highly recommend this studio to anyone who is interested in Pilates. Jenna has been super helpful in answering all my (annoying) questions, and helping me book my classes. She is extremely nice and very customer service oriented. I joined Club Pilates Metuchen about a month after it opened in November 2019. I always had a hunch that Reformer Pilates would get me back to exercising regularly. The Club Pilates team made that hunch turn into reality. I have grown from taking one class per week, to at least three, and can thank Jenna, Nicole, Adina and Jada-Rae for motivating me to keep coming back and to work harder every time. The studio is clean, like squeaky clean. Participants wipe down all equipment used during class with antimicrobial wipes after each class. Then the studio staff comes back through and gives everything a thorough wipe down as well. Everyone is masked up in the studio--even during exercise. And while I look forward to a time when we can go back to unmasked classes, I understand and respect the rules of the studio. And so does everyone else. Managers are helpful, staff are knowledgeable. I've been a member of this club since the very beginning, before it opened. I love how compassionate the instructors are here. The whole staff is very friendly and each class is unique. The instructors always explain things to you and let you know options to modify. They are different levels and pilates is a great workout, with the different levels loops are added,weights, balls etc. The reason instructors don't want you to be late is you miss instructions. NOT one instructor here is trying to insult you when they come by reformer, they care enough to let you know. We all start somewhere and you shouldn't get hurt or insulted if a instructor thinks you should take a few more classes, before leveling up. I usually take Gina, Nicole or Molly's class because it fits my schedule, but looking forward to taking other instructors classes. This place is AMAZING. I lOVE the fact that when I do something incorrect Gina will come by and show me. ALL The Instructors and management are terrific and they truly care. The members are FANTASTIC and my body feels great! I always kid with the instructors my legs. arms are sore. That being said Gina's class was so GREAT this morning, she is so pleasant and EVERYONE I know Loves her and the instructors here at Club Pilates Metuchen. Give it a try. Sometimes there is a wait list and you will get in and they have added so many classes, there is a time for everyone's schedule. read more

Very clean and well organized studio. Instructors and staff are very caring and knowledgeable and willing to help. The studio is well equipped with all the state of the art equipment to facilitate your best work out, and I would highly recommend trying this place out, you wont be disappointed.
