This Cross Fit gym/ box is pretty cool - I love the space they have and the location, tucked away…read morebehind a residential area for easy parking. Given the space/size, there is ample room for a class of 25. I was skeptical at first, but they can definitely accommodate this class size. There is plenty of wall space, rig space, equipment, etc. The cross fitters are focused and hard core here - they push themselves during the EMOM/ WODs, and then, as expected each day, they push through with the "finisher." It changes up every day, but it's like asking your body to sprint when tired, so it's a great additional skill to work on especially when tired. The classes each day and during the week are well thought out and planned for targeting various skills and muscle groups. Each 1 hour block is packed with so much stuff, it's great. There's no "down time," only go time. Go time may be cardio intense or skill intense, but it's always keeping you on your toes. The 2 coaches I met, one of whom is/was the head coach/ founder/ owner, are very friendly and approachable. However, don't let that deter you from seeking or accepting their spot-on advice for different skills. They kind of look like they know what they're doing.. okay, kind of is an understatement. With just a few moments, they can advise you on what else you can do to be better at your skill of concern - cool! The only downside in my opinion is that there is not as much camaraderie among everyone working out as I would have liked. If you don't mind that, this place is perfect. There are clearly small groups of people who know each other and work with each other, but there was not the cheering for everyone or the last folks working out. Oh, and the speaker system/ music is/was fantastic. Loved the music choices - really keeps you energized and going strong! This place is a great choice for locals living around here, and I am certainly very happy with the experience. When back in the area, I hope to return for another class!

The trainers, Tim, Pat & Allen were all there to help me improve & get stronger. When I started, I couldn't do a pull up, double under, nor had any knowledge of Olympic lifting. They modify the WODs for all levels so don't even use the excuse that you can't do it. You can always do something to make yourself stronger, faster, better, but it all takes time & dedication. Within 6 months, I was a Double Unders monster (which I am very proud of). I left being able to do Rx pull-ups in a WOD, as well as doing Chest to Bar Pull Ups unassisted. I participated in the CF Games Open in 2012 & hit some major PRs which were really exciting. CF908 is an awesome place to learn & the other people there become like a 2nd family. Everyone is friendly & helpful. The other people are there to root you on & are very supportive. I miss everyone at 908. I will always compare all the other CF to 908, but have not yet found another one like it yet. I just might have to move back! :)

Their classes are a unique blend of strength, cardio and hiit but the foundation is weight training. They have a separate LIT area where they offer yoga, body pump, dance sweat and Pilates classes. Members get all of this for a price that is less than just about every group fitness studio in the area. They smartly located a bit off the beaten path but super convenient to get to from all the surrounding neighborhoods in central bucks county so your membership fee isn't going to pay for rent in an expensive shopping center. This place is a "diamond in the rough". Finally, you will see your neighbors and friends here and if you don't know anyone you will quickly be welcomed into the Bria community. The Box itself if nestled in a gorgeous area and well kept. I emailed them a week or so before dropping as was required by their website. Janine, one of the owners, got back to me rather quickly and clearly indicated what was needed. My first day drop in, I was surprised to see the coach actively doing the WOD with the only other member that came in. He didn't want the member to do the workout alone as he was the only one that came in the day after a particular taxing workout and for the early class. The box is really clean and spacious. I think I ended up meeting all of the owners who were very friendly and accommodating. The other members were also very friendly which is expected in the Crossfit community; however, after a less than stellar drop in experience in Philadelphia, I really appreciated working out with this group. I also cannot thank them enough for their generous drop-in fees. They take the attitude that if you pay to train elsewhere that you shouldn't have to pay to drop in. So the first one is free and every subsequent one afterwards is only $15. They also waived that fee for my second visit. I've been meaning to send them a shirt (which they also accept!) I cannot say enough good things about this group. If you live in the area, I highly recommend trying them out. If you are coming through the area, then I really recommend dropping in!

Head…read moreTrainer Pat Neill has years of experience in physical training, and is always seeking to further his knowledge and certifications, having recently begun the OPEX CCP. Coach Pat understands fitness, and where he elevates the Shed over other CrossFit boxes is that he knows how to teach pacing, so that the maximum benefits are gained in each workout. He passes this knowledge to the other coaches, as well. If you come into CrossFit with a deficiency, Pat and the other coaches will show you how to modify your workout so that you are still making gains. We've had several members, including myself, who are cancer survivors, and coming back to CrossFit after treatment was easy because of the coaches. There is no judgment as the Shed. We are a very caring, down to earth, and supportive community. No meatheads or screaming in your face. There are many younger members, as well as families at the Shed, and there is a room for the kids to hang out in while you work out. There is also a CrossFit Kids program. It is a workout environment unlike any other you've experienced. CrossFit has grown immensely over the past few years, with many new boxes opening in the Northern Morris & Sussex County area. We have a few members who have tried other CrossFit boxes, but after speaking with Pat have decided to come to the Shed; this illustrates Pat's understanding of how to meet the needs of each member. You want to make the best choice for your health and wellness, and RedShed CrossFit is that place.

After being bored of the same thing I got to a point where I was so miserable and out of shape, eating bad and unmotivated. I was so unhappy with myself I didn't know what to do. A friend told me to come to a class and try it out. I was instantly hooked and signed up that day. Since starting in February I have made such progress. I used to not even be able to run down the stairs, even though I could lift heavy weights. I wasn't really in shape like I thought. Now I can run a mile, sprint 400+ meters and I have so much more cardio endurance then I've ever in my life. Every day is different and challenges something new inside you. I was so scared to start something new, something out of my comfort zone. I walked into class and realized it was just a bunch of people like me, all ages , all sizes and even women 9 months pregnant! The coaches are all amazing and help you through everything. They will scale your workout to your best availability's but also see your potential and give you that push you don't have on your own. There are always events going on to keep you motivated and give you a goal. The owner Chris and his wife Christi are amazing! They always help with nutrition and guidance, they are so well educated. Inside this warehouse it is so much more then a gym. This is a home and it comes with a family. The people I get to see every day, work side by side with and even in events out side of the gym have become A family. Everyone is so welcoming and everyone is cheering you on! No one wants to see you fail and no one will ever let you. This place has changed my life mentality and physically, inside the gym and in every aspect of my life.
