I've been coming here for about three months. It's a large commercial gym with a good variety of…read moreclasses, including some unique options like barre and bungee yoga, and the instructors are great. The gym has plenty of strength-training equipment that's generally in good condition, although it gets very crowded during peak hours. My biggest issue is that the HIIT Zone classes take up the entire second floor and frequently don't run on schedule, so equipment and space upstairs can be unavailable for longer than expected. I also had repeated issues with class registration and even received an email accusing me of attending classes I never signed up for. I contacted the gym to clarify and never received a response. Overall, the customer service and professionalism are lacking. There's often no one at the front desk, and when there is, employees frequently seem uninterested or unable to answer questions. I've also had a few uncomfortable interactions with male members, including men trying to rearrange equipment while I was still using it. The gym could also be cleaner, particularly the bathrooms and class areas. I appreciate the hours, equipment, and instructors, but the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and general management make the overall experience disappointing.

Ive been all over the fitness spectrum from over weight, a competitive power lifter, gym meat head…read more I always thought I was "fit". After being bored of the same thing I got to a point where I was so miserable and out of shape, eating bad and unmotivated. I was so unhappy with myself I didn't know what to do. A friend told me to come to a class and try it out. I was instantly hooked and signed up that day. Since starting in February I have made such progress. I used to not even be able to run down the stairs, even though I could lift heavy weights. I wasn't really in shape like I thought. Now I can run a mile, sprint 400+ meters and I have so much more cardio endurance then I've ever in my life. Every day is different and challenges something new inside you. I was so scared to start something new, something out of my comfort zone. I walked into class and realized it was just a bunch of people like me, all ages , all sizes and even women 9 months pregnant! The coaches are all amazing and help you through everything. They will scale your workout to your best availability's but also see your potential and give you that push you don't have on your own. There are always events going on to keep you motivated and give you a goal. The owner Chris and his wife Christi are amazing! They always help with nutrition and guidance, they are so well educated. Inside this warehouse it is so much more then a gym. This is a home and it comes with a family. The people I get to see every day, work side by side with and even in events out side of the gym have become A family. Everyone is so welcoming and everyone is cheering you on! No one wants to see you fail and no one will ever let you. This place has changed my life mentality and physically, inside the gym and in every aspect of my life. Incident: She is giving a class with 20+ people which is too many for the room and BLASTING music which is causing the walls and windows to shake. This class is located in a shared facility/complex. Translation it's a shared space that she rents. She was asked to keep the door closed or turn down the volume and be a decent human being showing a little consideration to everyone on the other side of the wall and she said NO! Lesson: Learn how to get along with others. Respect others and things will move along peacefully BUT if you do t respect others people will talk and get the word out of your behavior. There are many exercise classes out there with respectful leaders/instructors just NOT this instructor.

Every summer the air conditioning breaks and every summer it is patched together to keep it going along. In the winter it's either too cold in the beginning of the class or it is to humid and hot by the end due to the fact that the climate control does not work and the owners refuse to get it properly fixed. They will sometimes bring a nifty fan in to hold over the weeks where there is no air at all . This location does not update the Ipads and they are very glitchy. We were taught an array of moves on the pole and then moved onto a full chair dance routine. The women in our party ranged in age from their early 20's to late 50's -- and everyone had a blast! I can't say enough good things about our experience. As for the regular classes, I took a class here about a year ago and really enjoyed myself. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area or else Sweat Like A Girl would be my full-time workout studio.

I quickly became tired of the elliptical, tired of the treadmill, and the only thing I knew for sure was that if my workouts continued to feel like chores, I'd never stick with them. I tried the Fight Club class after checking out classes at a few other gyms, and I was instantly hooked. It was first time I realized I could have a good time working out. It took me a while to try out some of the other classes, but now, SuperGirl is my favorite. It's always something different, but consistently keeps me working hard. But the really surprising thing was, it didn't take me long to feel comfortable there. Heather, the owner of the gym who also happens to be the main instructor for many classes, is equally a motivator, an entertainer, and a hardcore fitness instructor. I start out each class feeling scared for the intensity i know is about to be inflicted upon my body, and psyched, in the same was anybody is before they are about to do something they know is going to be completely fun and rewarding. Any class with Heather usually includes a stand-up routine at no extra charge. And not surprisingly, smiling and laughing a lot while you're sweating like crazy, definitely takes the pressure off. Actually, all the instructors are pretty cool, care about your success, and will give you a great workout. I've met a lot of people at this gym, and the pervasive attitude is one of support, non-judgement, and willingness to help each other out. The whole environment is pretty cool, and rare. There's something for everybody, whether your idea of fitness involves flipping tires, interval training, running, dancing, pole, or kicking and punching. And the price is definitely right.
