I love her Tower, Yamuna, and TRX Pilates classes. She has been a fitness instructor for many years and keeps the energy up and positive and humorous but also uses expert clinical direction for body movements and alignment. She has a keen eye for proper form and offers personal adjustments which is my favorite kind of instructor. You will see and feel results when you start coming to her classes. I also love Jennifer's jump and Power Tower classes. I can feel every muscle working and it's a guaranteed solid workout. Plus she's so kind and friendly and the classes have great sequences. I purchased a package of private Pilates sessions with Teri as a gift for someone else and they absolutely love her attention to body movement and how their body feels after a 1:1. They say there is so much more awareness throughout the day of body position and posture and that they make corrections for better support. This place is a gem-- I don't mind the drive from St Paul in rush hour to attend any of the classes here. The instructors are high quality and very well trained.

The fun doesn't stop there! The also offer mat, Yamuna body rolling,,4!types Pilates classes and a nutritionist to help you meet each goal. The coach was energetic and provided adjustments. What I was missing was modifications for some of the moves. Some of them were hard and I wasn't sure on my own how to change the move to still get something out of it, but change it for my skill level. Yes, barre is based off of ballet, but I felt it was a much more prominent feature of this class compared to other studios. The worst part of the class was the music. Instead of playing Taylor Swift's music remixes of Taylor's music was played. It wasn't the same. You'll want to arrive early for your class for a variety of reasons. One of those reasons is to give yourself time to fine the studio. The building is confusing.

They also offer all props you could need at no extra cost. When you show up, it's at a (former?) church in the basement level. There's space to hang coats and leave shoes, and you sign in on a clipboard by the door. The space itself is warm and inviting with dark wooden floors. There are a few windows that let light in near the ceiling.

I worked with Caryn on both the reformer and the mat in private and small group sessions, and she is phenomenal. She took note of my body issues and limitations and adapted whatever movements I couldn't physically do. The price is higher than for the more typical personal training session but I found it to be well worth it. And I can't wait to get back in there the next time I visit!

I have some body issues stemming from injury and flat feet (thanks dad) and caryn not only was respectful of them but also showed me how to modify certain stretches and sequences so as not to hurt myself or cause discomfort and also get the maximum stretch and strengthening. This morning I went to my first mat class (we had a private "family" class with my mom, me, our friend and her daughter) in probably 3 years and it was wonderful. Their new (well, new to me!) space is light, airy and just beautiful. Caryn is a fantastic teacher and is extremely attentive to all in her classes. I will admit, Pilates can be a bit expensive but the effect it has on your body...and really your mind, can be well worth the expense.

There are so many different classes some from beginners to advanced, outdoor and on paddle boards, special events and yoga teacher trainings, which deepen your knowledge of yoga. My husband and I took the big step of becoming 200-hour yoga teachers at this studio and I can't say enough positive things about that experience. The quality of the teachers is amazing. They are always giving pointers to correct your form so you have a safer yoga practice and giving you the freedom to do what feels best for your b. My favorite classes are the yin, meditation and mixed level. Conveniently located in the strip mall on Hwy 96, this studio has a small grassy area for outdoor yoga and two studios inside. You never have to worry about getting a parking spot - there's plenty. You have the option of an unlimited monthly membership or you can buy a block of class passes. Another cool feature of this studio is that you can reserve a seat in class using the Mind Body app. Check out their website for classes, special events, and a little bit about each instructor. My latest favorite thing is their online studio where I can access many pre-recorded classes for when I am out of town. As a result of COVID-19, the studio also offers live classes via Zoom, that I take advantage of whenever I can.
