I found the studio online and of all the studios I looked at, it had the most variety of classes at times that worked for us (after regular working hours and on weekends). We signed up for the initial $20 unlimited 2 weeks pass and crammed in as many classes as we could over that time. Every class we took and every instructor we worked with was fantastic. I did 2 of the video classes as well. Everyone was kind and welcoming. And we loved that every single class and instructor reinforced that everyone's yoga practice is individual and we should feel free to modify as needed and ask for help when needed. We have since purchased multiple of the 30 class packs but I think we'll switch to the monthly rate as soon as we've used all of our classes. We look forward to the 2-3 classes a week we attend; they've become so much a part of our weekly routine that everything feels "off" if we miss one! The fact that Lift has now added a John's Creek location is even better for us, since we split time between my home in Alpharetta and my partner's house in John's Creek - so wherever we are, we can find a class time and location that works. Final note: I can only assume the handful of people giving 1-star reviews and complaining about the studio being "activist" and "political" are anti-maker folks who bristled at being asked to wear a mask and social distance inside the studio. We gladly wore our masks for the first several months we attended and continue to distance while inside the studio when requested. Yoga is not a-political. The very essence of yoga requires truth, justice, peace, and learning - and yes, activism. Anyone who doesn't understand that doesn't understand yoga.

They offer quite a variety of classes and have the most up-to-date, nicest equipment including full cadillac reformers. Sign up for a jump board (cardio Pilates), Pilates aligned, Core-Align, Pilates chair, or a mat class. Highly recommend all of them! The instructors here are so knowledgeable and really help push you to your fullest potential. They also offer private sessions if you are new to Pilates or looking to have a solo session so you and your body are the main focus. Heather also trains my 83 year old father and when I say she has saved his life I mean it with my whole heart. Dad was unable to stand straight, walked with a cane, and couldn't move his neck very much. Thanks to Milton Pilates, watching him age backwards has been astonishing. I called multiple times before class started and no one answered, and there were no instructions or signage indicating where to enter. The doors were locked, leaving me standing outside unsure of what to do. When someone finally came to the door, I was met with an extremely rude response and told I was not allowed to join the class and should instead "reserve" (and pay for) the 6:00 PM class. This was especially frustrating considering it took me over 35 minutes to get there, and the delay was caused by their own failure to provide basic directions or answer the phone. Poor communication, locked doors, and dismissive staff made this a complete waste of time (1.5+ hours of driving and swearing). I would not recommend this studio to anyone.

Owner, Lori Denton, is so sweet and instructs weekly at this studio (she owns/operates multiple yoga/pilates studios around the area). Her classes are fantastic for all levels, and will teach you so much about your practice and how to continue growing and pushing yourself further. It's a beautiful space with plenty of reformers and cubby space for personal belongings. I attend the reformer "power" and "sculpt" pilates classes, and I always leave feeling more aligned and like I got the best full body workout. I also highly recommend taking Melissa's classes. She is amazing! It's hard to find instructors who are truly there to watch your form closely and correct any positioning while offering modifications, and Melissa always makes sure to connect with every person in the class and she's also super encouraging which will inspire you to push beyond your boundaries.

I'm tired of this constant battle and cancelled my membership. Despite all scheduling issues, the staff and Pilates teachers are great, no complaints.

I could tell this is an intimate studio and people know each other, there's good vibes, which I always love. The hot yoga is a bit too hot for me, and they use the same routine every time, which a lot of people love! I personally enjoy more variation, but the poses give you a well rounded experience and you feel nice and balanced! I joined for a trail month, and plan on continuing the three months I'll be here for work. I also have only tried hot classes, I look forward to trying the other classes! One suggestion I would make. I didn't really care to see the bathrooms while I was practicing. It's probably just me, so I sat a different place the next time. Was thinking maybe some curtains in front of them would be nice!
