Absolutely amazing!!! 32oz steak.... Sooooo good. The people and Service is amazing and the atmosphere is on point. Hands down one of my favorite places. Definitely my favorite supper club in WI!

I hate this place! As soon as you walk in here it smells like old people! not sure why this place is always so crowded and my co workers love coming here so much. The place is so dark, you can't even read the menus or see the food.. I saw a lot of old folks struggling. My coworker had to use his iPhone flashlight! Lmao my friends have dragged me here 3 times already and the food ALWAYS disappoints. I had their meatloaf, prime rib meatballs and some other shenanigans that were not memorable at all. Only thing I can say is that their cheese curds are good. The breading reminds me of the funnel cake breading. Everything else here is a hard NO for me.

Our dinner party. Look at that Prime Rib

We enjoyed our experience at Club Oasis. The Old Fashions were a treat. We ordered Prime Rib, it was good along with the potatoes but the salad bar was great. It had a variety of offerings, clean and the food on the buffet were clean and cold. It offers soup that is homemade. If you are in Sparta, definitely try Club Oasis. We loved the Wisconsin Supper Club feeling

We both had the Prime Rib and it was excellent!!! Old Fashions were awesome!

Great salad bar. Delicious entrees especially the walleye filets. A must stop on my travels to Wisconsin.

Foxhole Pub - Salad bar. Lots of good salad options.

I've always liked the Sparta side of Fort McCoy better than Tomah, as it just seems more like an individual small town versus a big-box thoroughfare. What a wonderful recommendation, I had a fantastic visit. My co-worker can second the old fashioneds! Staff was super friendly and service was attentive. Clearly there are locals and regulars coming in that know each other by name, but being out-of-towners we were still treated the same and welcomed. We sat at the bar (always my preference), but there is plenty of restaurant seating if you come here with a group or with your family. They have a decent beer selection on tap, and the menu can cover pretty much all appetites. I ordered the veggie burger, which was somewhat generic but nevertheless tasty and I ate the whole thing. Overall, I'd say the food here is good - maybe nothing crazy unique, but good, especially with the somewhat limited options in the area if you want to stay away from chains and fast food. I will absolutely be back for another dinner and continue to try out options on the menu. I'd really love to do the fish fry if I'm ever here on a Friday night. But, who needs dinner when you have dessert?! OMG I'd seen some photos of their desserts online, and even though I'm not usually a dessert person, these photos drove me here that night! Wow. The Brandy Alexander is absolutely incredible. It's large but my co-worker and I each ordered our own (and finished it completely). Anyone can make a Brandy Alexander you sip from a cup... but this was like a soft serve goblet of ice cream with the booze mixed in throughout. The BEST. I will be back here every time I'm in the area just for this (and then good food and beer is always a nice add-on).

Pan fried walleye was great! Salad bar looked sketchy, but don't they all…read more The place was dark and had a definite pub vibe going for it.

So, why the low rating, you might ask. Well, as much as I loved the decor and vibe, the service and food just wasn't there. Trust me, I so wanted to walk away with that warm and fuzzy, but instead it was cold and "Meh." It was about 1 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon. When my group first arrived it was pretty empty. Maybe 6 other people tops in the entire place. There was 8 of us, and we went into the back room where we could eat and also have a meeting. Ideal, right? Well the server (also the bartender), was nice enough, but she really didn't know the menu very well, and it's pretty simple. Nevertheless, we ordered drinks, then we were served said drinks in a timely fashion, and then ordered food. All good so far! The glitch? Our meals were piece mailed to us, if you will. A couple individual appetizers here, then one person would get his burger, then another. At one point about 5 of the 8 of us had completely finished our meals when the last 3 just got theirs. I'm sorry, but that's NOT how it's done. It's not cool! I don't think it was the server's fault, but the cook just didn't know how to multitask I guess. This is common restaurant style cooking, everyone gets their food roughly at the same time. That's why it's referred to as "Sharing a Meal." Now that nice young lady tried, but she could have easily sold me a second bloody marry, and almost all of my eating mates' beers were empty and she never once asked if we wanted another round. In addition to not satisfying the customer, that actually cost the owner money. The food? Pedestrian! I'm sorry, I know, I know. How dare I? Look, I'm new to Wisconsin, so all I have to go buy is what I know. And I know that I recently fell in love with the burger chain Culver's. Those burgers are the bomb! And they're "Fast Food." So surely a cool Sparta sports bar with amazing ambiance can match a fast food burger joint, right? Wa wa wa, wrong! I had a patty melt and it was small and dare I say, boring, and a little dry. Once again, I wanted so badly to love this joint, but they let me down. Maybe it was an off day? I hope so, because if they're enjoying the limited options this cool little town has and just mailing it in, that's not cool either. Nevertheless, you be the judge. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than we did. Cheers!
