the breakfast buffet at the club america

Sub par club. We have priority pass so we didnt pay to get in. Otherwise i would have demanded a refund. The food is not even mediocre & the selection is miniscule. & since I have celiac disease i had like 1 food option since most of it was english muffins & cookies. The drink selection is laughable too. They do have a few alcoholic choices. The chairs were comfortable & the club was quiet so I'll give them that.

Hungry? This is all you get at Club America Terminal J at Miami Airport. It's an awful place.

Certainly the very worst International airline club lounge anywhere in the world. And, I have been to many lounges. The amenities are pathetic. One small counter with one miserable, unfriendly attendant serving about 60 people. Want a Diet Coke? Out comes the 2-liter bottle from behind the counter to be poured into a glass by the attendant. What ever happened to self-service? Why can't they offer me my own smaller bottle? And, the lack of food is astonishing. One small tray of pretzel snacks, and every 15 minutes or so a sandwich tray comes out, which is immediately consumed by seemingly-hungry people. It's like watching sharks feed. The WiFi is painfully-slow. ANYWHERE else in the world, I can expect pleasant service, an ARRAY of different food items, delicious coffees, selections of beverages and a feeling of being taken care of. Not at Club Americas J at MIA. The company that runs this lounge should be ashamed.

Where are the snacks????? A bowl of apples... really?!?!?

This lounge is pretty pathetic. Only come here if you want to eat a cookie, an apple or drink juice and coffee... it's no wonder that I was the only person in the lounge.

Terrible lounge. A total shame for Miami International Airport. The worst lounge ever.

What a terrible lounge. Actually it doesn't deserve to be named "Lounge". It is the worst airport lounge I've been to. Terrible food, poor selection of drinks and beverages. I don't understand why Priority Pass partners with such a pathetic place. They offered us a $24 upgrade to their "VIP" area which is as terrible as the regular one. Unfortunately, there are no other lounges in that terminal (the oldest and dirtier one in MIA) so we had to deal with this dump.

Bought a Priority Pass on Groupon and even with the "discount", we were disappointed with this lounge. Crappy cookies. Subpar fruit (old). Most alcohol bottles empty. One star for plenty of Miller Beer. The bathroom in on the first class side....and it looked like my local YMCA. (Green tile...add some rust)

The staff are warm and friendly , and there is ample comfortable seating. The food options are disappointing, but Flagship customers also have access the standard American lounge too which sometimes has more appealing food options and everyday comfort deserts (like Brownies, rice Krispy treats or German cake). One of my favorite amenities of the Flagship lounge is the shower suites. I enjoy a nice shower before a long international flight (as well as the Arrivals Lounge in Heathrow for example, upon arrival). At the MIA flagship lounge if you arrive with sufficient time they will add your name to the list and typically a shower suite will be ready in about 30-60 minutes. Aside from the showers, it's really all the open seating I enjoy compared to the standard lounge which can get very loud and busy.

On this visit we had the pleasure of experiencing Flagship First dining which is a private, full-service restaurant within the Flagship Lounge. Flagship First dining exists only in Miami and DFW. The LAX Flagship First dining remains closed. Food and beverage options in Flagship First are definitely a step above the standard Flagship Lounge offerings including Laurent-Perrier Grand Siecle champagne! Many years ago, Flagship First had Krug champagne but sadly no more. The decor inside is classy and chic and service is impeccable and attentive. I wanted to try something small since I knew the flight would have a meal as well. I tried the crab cake which was excellent and the perfect size for a snack. Of course, I had the Laurent-Perrier champagne as well - truly outstanding! For dessert I had the poached pear which was delightful! I also had the Irish coffee, but this was much worse than the one I had experienced in DFW. There was neither a cinnamon stick nor whipped cream because they were apparently out of both. Oh well. First world problems! Anyway, definitely visit the Flagship Lounge if you are able and definitely, definitely try Flagship First dining if you get the chance!

During our recent visit, it looked fresh and modern, consistent with other relatively recently updated Sky Clubs around the country. This is the only Sky Club in MIA. It's located in the H-J Connector in the South Terminal. Delta mainly operates out of the H gates in Concourse H. From the boarding area, you have to take an elevator or stairs up to Level 4 to enter the Sky Club. Foodwise, I enjoyed the mojo pork, and black beans and rice, as well as a quinoa wrap and warm chocolate chip cookies. Everything was delicious. I liked the touches of Latin cuisine since this is Miami. At the bar, the Bloody Marys were terrific. Overall, the lounge was spacious and seating was comfortable, and service was great (hostess, food staff, bartender).

It's a lounge. It's better than sitting at the terminal. The food is decent enough and you're spending a small fortune for airport food so there's redeeming qualities. I've not seen anywhere to relax, per se. The chairs for the most part are situated for groups of 4 and there's always one person sitting with bags strewn across. Pros: free beer, wine, spirits, and food. Quieter than the terminal when you're a couple of hours early for international. Friendly staff. Cons: those are its redeeming qualities and it's basically a quite terminal seating area. Overall, yeah, I'd want a lounge and this will be one I visit again but to call it VIP and expecting a Delta One experience is disappointing.

Not great, but not bad. The lounge was quite busy on the evening we arrived. It was a Thursday and it was about 3/4 of the way full. Good news is they serve mini pints of Blue Bell Ice Cream. Bad news is at some point the ice cream was not kept cold enough so it melted and got refrozen. Another miss was the lack of salad dressing options for the salad aside from oil and vinegar. Really? That's it? I saw other people looking for salad dressing options and dumbfounded as to how that could seriously be the only option. This was especially odd because it was a salad bar situation where you had so many other ingredients to choose from, but at the end you can only dress it with the most basic option imaginable. More attention to detail would have bumped this lounge to a 4 star in my opinion.

You have to talk to the counter people." I went to the counter, waited several minutes to be acknowledged, and asked again. The response was "This isn't our gate and it's not our problem." There was a wet floor sign leaning against the wall next to him and I asked him to hand it to me. You'd have thought I'd just handed him a bag of week old lunch meat based on the look on his face. He handed me the sign, and I placed it at the spill, then got us moved to a different spot.
