Somehow I lucked out and showed up at 8:30 feeling horrible and there was no one in the waiting room. The nurses were kind and Dr. Sidhu was wonderful. He took his time and really listened to how I was feeling. He explained the medicine he was going to prescribe and the possible side effects. He was thoughtful and thorough. I was taking a medication that upset my stomach and after calling with concerns, Dr. Levin called me right back to talk about it and help me. I took my wife here as she has been coughing and hacking for almost a week now. We got there at about 9:30am on a Saturday and there were two people ahead of us. It took them at least an hour to call each patient and we saw NO ONE leaving. What was taking so long? It makes absolutely NO sense! Two hours later we get called in to the room and the doctor spends less than 10 minutes talking to us. What are they doing the other 50 minutes per patient? I would never return to this place even if my life depended on it. Ridiculous! read more

As far as urgent care goes, this particular practice does a great job all around. Everyone complaining about long wait times should try getting seen at a hospital emergency room in this town, and THEN complain about long wait times. I think the longest I've ever had to wait to see a Doctor here without an appointment here is a little over an hour, and that was with a full waiting room. They are very good about getting patients in and out efficiently. Every year, like clockwork, I get reactive bronchitis during the summer when all the forest fires hit, and then in the Fall when the weather changes, I get my annual ear infection. Seriously... I could set an almanac by these two ailments of mine, and it's not feasible to try to make an appointment with my primary on these issues because who wants to live with these symptoms while they wait to be seen for two months? Also, ER in this town? I just don't have two days to spend waiting with all the other puking and hacking patients at Clovis Community, so I've found this place is my best bet. Like I said, the wait times are more than bearable. Some advice I would give you though is to to get there early. They open at 7:00 AM weekdays, and 9:00 AM weekends, and if you are in the parking lot ten minutes before the door opens, you're almost guaranteed to be home in time for your mid-morning coffee. Just remember that on certain days, they stack "follow-up" appointments, so you may end up seeing people walk in after you being seen. These appointments are usually very quick, and won't impact your wait too terribly long. The Doctors also try to schedule these earlier in the week, anticipating more walk-ins on the weekend. As for the Doctors themselves, I have had both Doctor Levin and Doctor Sidhu help me with my health problems in the past, and both are highly skilled in emergency medicine, as well as having great bedside manner. I've never felt uncomfortable or rushed with either of them, and they both listen to me as a patient and then go from there. In fact, I would feel perfectly fine having either one of them as my primary care physician if they ever decided to start their own practice. This last go around with my latest ear infection, Dr. Sidhu gave me the normal antibiotics and medicines to help knock everything out (it also turns out I have a sinus infection that is messing with my eye... lovely), but he mentioned some really great "at-home" tips for instant relief that have seemed to work, if only temporarily, but have given me a modicum of comfort. Hot olive oil drops in the infected ear after irrigating it with hydrogen peroxide. After that first evening of doing that, I was able to get my first night's sleep in over a week! Yeah... I'm a fan of his now. All in all, I am very impressed with the level of care that I've received through the years from the entire staff at Clovis Urgent Care, and I'm sure that I will be bringing my family here as they encounter the sickies and owies as they grow up. I'm sure that I'll also see them next Summer for my yearly allergy shot when I get my bought of reactive bronchitis, and then soon after when I get my yearly ear infection. I will (do) also recommend this facility to anyone in the Clovis area in need of emergency care. read more

The staff is wonderful. Dr. Levin is kind, great with kids, the only reason I rated them a 3 was because their billing department is awful. They never get the secondary insurance correct. They asked me for the same information multiple times. And I have caught them trying to bill me twice for things that are already paid by the insurance. read more

Dr Daliwa was very kind and knowledgeable. Explained my grandson ear problem to him. Reception (Angela) went above and beyond. He had out of state medical cards that were photographed and texted to me, and then a medical release that was emailed. She worked with me and helped to get all the information straight so he could be seen. She was patient and sweet when I ran into tech problems. read more

DONOT EVER VISIT. They will try to take every penny out of pocket . My 17 years old cousin went to them to get Immigration vaccinations and medical . I go thru that process many times with different clinics . All of them charged 235$ which includes mandatory blood and urine sample . These guys told me to come , they will only charge 200$ plus extra for samples ( remember samples are part of the test ) . After paying 200$ , they said they need urine and blood and one vaccine and will charge 650$ for that . They told me it will be cheap if you go thru us rather than going to lab bu yourself . Then I came to know they are third parties and send sample to Laboratory and make money out of that and they don't do test themselves . We went directly to Laboratory and they charge nothing at all and Med Cal paid for it . We went to Sierra vista clinic to get free shot . I will reach USCIS and medical authorities to make sure what they charge from patients for lab tests match what they charge from them or their insurances . I already see many reviews regarding sending bills to customers again and again and charging a lot . And second time my wife who had insurance from Utah went to them , they said they can't take her as it says urgent Care but we bill as family care so your insurance only cover urgent care and not family care . She said then why it's saying Clovis urgent care ? Answer is because they charge more as an urgent care but I don't see anything to deal with urgency over there . Better go to hospital . So please Be aware and visit somewhere else . read more

Wonderful! I woke up this morning sicker than a dog. It was early; most urgent cares do not open until 9. When I arrived I was pleased that this place was clean. They got me back right away due to my severe symptoms. That's always nice to see that staff are triaging appropriately. Dr. Levin was very nice. He answered my questions appropriately and prescribed the right medicine. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Since I was diagnosed with the flu, I told my husband to go get checked out since he's been exposed. He went to another urgent care and I think he was there around 3 hours. I'm already feeling better. I recommend this urgent care. read more

Small facility waited over an hour to get in a room with four patients ahead of me, once in the room waited another hour to be seen by a doctor. However the doctor and his staff very good knowledgeable at their craft compared to two other doctors I've seen at other urgent cares for the same issue that hasn't been resolved symptoms only got worse. So if you are ok with quality medical staff and don't mind a wait I would recommend this facility. Bring a phone charger though. read more

Have had a bad cough for 3 weeks now and called my family physician for an appointment. Couldn't get in until Thursday (today is Tuesday) so I thought I would try this place. I am extremely happy with the service and care that I received here today. The service was great, especial from the medical staff and the on duty physician, Dr. Dhaliwal. He was so personable and caring, great "bedside manners". I feel like he was extremely competent with his analysis of my condition and the in-office treatment that I received was very helpful to alleviate my medical issue. This is now my "back up" medical provider for those rare (hopefully) occasions when I can't see my family physician. read more

I was recently seen here to have a tb test done, and i was having horrible allergies, they were able to get me in right away to have that done in addition to my test super fast and everyone was extremely nice. Overpriced! STAY AWAY. I received a bill for $517.00 from one visit here. WTH. I Googled "How much should urgent care cost" and the results ranged from $55 to $155. Dr. Roy Levin seemed nice enough and competent enough. Maybe there's been a mistake somewhere with the company he uses to send bills to his patients. It's been hard for me to resolve because his freaking billing company HUNG UP ON ME LITERALLY 10 SECONDS INTO THE CALL. The minute someone picked up the phone they asked for my account number, I gave it to them, then *CLICK*. Thanks! Second time I called, the representative said that it looks like they may have forgotten to make "adjustments" to the bill and they'll send it out again. We'll see what happens. The bill shouldn't be anywhere close to $517.00 regardless of any contractual adjustments/discounts are involved with my insurance company. The out-of-pocket, no-insurance cost for urgent care should be less than $200. At any rate: WTF??? Does this place send overpriced bills out the first time hoping they'll get the sucker patients to pay them, then arbitrarily reduce them if they get complaints??? I'll update the review depending on what I get back from this billing debacle, but in the meantime, STAY AWAY from this horribly overpriced urgent care center. Since Dr. Levin seems like a nice guy, I hope this is just a glitch in his billing department. If it is, he really needs to iron it out ASAP. read more

Actually I had a horrible experience at your facility onethat almost cost me a career opportunity. I take pride in being in the healthiest shape so I can be there for my family. That includes watching diet and not doing drugs. Yet I somehow managed to test positive for pills , sleep medication and depression pills is what your facility claimed was in the piss test. Thats such a disgrace and should be ashamed of that costly mistake that could have been. I would encourage better handling of drug test for your employees I assume the only explanation would be urine sample got mixed up with another one of your patients. If there was a medication involved and someone got misdiagnosed I would feel bad for whomever got that mix up. But hey it's medicine and mal practice happens right? Just hope no one ever has to go through a situation like that again. Horrible experience! Luckily for me my now employer believed me and ordered a retake sure enough everything was fine and this time everything was done in front of me lord is my witness...... read more

Dr. Dhaliwal and staff were great today. My total time there was maybe about an hour and half but that included chest X-ray and breathing treatment. Not bad at all for all that plus the doctor spent a quality amount of time with my son. I would highly recommend this place. You can always call ahead to ask how busy they are and approximate wait time. read more

My son was here from out of town, he hurt his left hand and he's a lefty. He went into this urgent care to get help. The receptionist was a total hag. He asked for help filling out the paper work as he's a lefty and his right hand writing is horrible. She said he'd figure it out. Thank God there was a lady listening and she helped him fill it out. His nurse was also not nice and when he called me all he could say was he was disappointed in the care and he felt as if he was a huge burden on this place. So as a father would do I called. As I explain my situation to the receptionist she found it in her soul to tell me that wasn't what happened and my son was lying!!!! And as I went back and forth saying I wanted to speak to who's in charge she then said "I don't have time to go back and fourth like a child " I couldn't believe this so I said "what???" She then said "I didn't stutter!!!" Then she hung up on me. I called back in 30 min and she picked up and hung up twice. Is this the kind of care we have these days????? read more

Both of the Doctors are great. X-rays done on the spot. The place got popular though, it's such a wait to get in.

My son had a 24 hour stomach flu that others at home had. I took him to this urgent care and the doctor that was there is a quack. All he did was touch his face and said my son has bronchitis. He didn't listen to his chest. He then perscribes Tamaflu, which cost over $100. He probably gets kick backs from the pharmaceutical. He also prescribed him vicodin for pain. You don't give a 17 year old vicodin for body aches. read more

Never take an appointment here, they don't actually keep them. When you question them on it they say well an appointment doesn't guarantee you a time it just puts you in line!! But when they are busy they always suggest them as a way to avoid the queue. So aggravating. read more

Only worth the wait if you can't live long enough to get into your regular physical, and sometimes it is. The return with an appointment is truly a joke. You go ahead of half the group waiting. 30 people ahead means your going after the next 15 people. Still a 2.5 hour wait. Best you just don't go to the return if you are getting better, why expose yourself to the sickos. I'll go again if it is the best option at the time. read more

My son who has been a patient here for over 10 years was told that they were closing Jan first and was turned away. Why bother staying open until the first when you won't see patients. Apparently the doctor's oath means nothing here. read more

This is the worse Urgent care,its like going to a doctors office.They have long wait hours and on top of it they take appointments so If you're not feeling well and needing urgent treatment,then this will definitely not a place you would want to get treated.Even if you come in ahead of time and patients that they booked for appointment comes in,you will be seen last after they see all their patients.Its just sad that they have their name as urgent care wherein they don't render this kind of service read more

I've been to Clovis Urgent Care twice, at the suggestion of another teacher friend of mine. Now, keep in mind, I live in Madera, which is almost an hour drive away. I saw Dr. Lao the first time and I really liked him a lot. He explained that I had come down with a sinus infection, gave me a steriod shot and prescriptions. It was a good experience. I just went in for what I thought was bronchitis last week and Dr. Levin diagnosed me with the flu. I will say the wait was horrible, almost 5 hours, but every emergency room and urgent care around was overflooded with sick people, so it was worth the wait there because it's so clean and just very nice. The girls at the front are very professional. Seeing Dr. Levin was terrific. He's just the nicest guy you'll ever meet, especially when you are sick! I called today because I'm not feeling better and HE called me back within 30 minutes. What a great doctor! I'll be going back for my follow up this week with him. I highly recommend that if you need an urgent care, make the drive to this one. THE BEST! read more

I called at 230am about some severe symptoms my husband was having. I received a call back from Dr Levin within 15 minutes, I was not made to feel as if I was bothering him, and he treated my concerns with the respect and urgency that I felt were warranted. After asking a few relevant questions, he encouraged us to get to the ER right away and even told us what to say when we got there. read more

I showed up at 655p. This place is supposed to be open until 7pm. The doors were locked and everyone avoiding looking at the door. I finally knocked and they came to the door and said 'we're closed - we shut down the front desk already'. Really lame. If you have business hours you should adhere to them - especially in this line of business. read more

I made an appointment two weeks ago and when I went into the office for my scheduled appointment, they couldn't find it. No apologies. The front desk girl was going to have me wait like a walk in patient. Finally, the OM told me she could double book me later that day. I went in and still had to wait an hour before getting into a room. I have a sprained wrist and was given a brace, but after wearing the brace the rest of the evening, it became painful because my wrists are bony and the brace was rubbing against my bone. I called to ask if I could return the brace and they said I can't return or exchange it. I've not even had the brace 24 hours. read more
