I was referred here by my regular doctor when we found out I was pregnant. Over the course of my pregnancy, I made it to every appointment and while the staff were nice enough, I saw a different provider almost every single time. I met with Dr Kopacz ONCE, in which she wasn't very encouraging and I actually left feeling scared and sad, worried that my high risk pregnancy wasn't going to finish the way we wanted it to. Since I saw different people each time, I really never felt a connection to the office or like anyone was really watching out for me. When I was 34 weeks pregnant, I had a stress test across the way at Dr Ladella's -- i really wasn't feeling it that morning and wanted to cancel, but decided to go anyway. I didnt feel like anyone at FWMG was really watching out for me, so it felt like easy to cancel, Well, its a good thing I did go in that morning because when I went there, they saw I had preeclampsia and immediately sent me to the Hospital side of things where I had an emergency c-section, performed by a completely different dr than Dr Kopacz. A couple of days later, FWMG called me to remind me of my regular upcoming appointment, to which I said they could go ahead and cancel, you know -- since the baby was already here. No congratulations, no concern, no follow up. They just told me to come in when I was released from the hospital and before we took baby home. I never, ever felt like I had a "care provider", it was just a regular drop in and get out kind of place. I never did talk to or see Dr. Kopacz after my delivery. When my baby was finally strong enough and almost ready to go home, I had a follow up at FWMG. It was halloween and my provider came into the exam room and was dressed like a pinata. She threw candy at me and my husband. Really. I get that holidays are fun and it could be a cute way to break the tension, but I just had a life threatening episode and a baby in the NICU -- it felt like nobody took any of my pregnancy seriously. Aside from all that, the billing department does some werid accounting which has lead to many, many issues with my insurance company, the hospital, etc. Very frustrating right after everything. We're 6 months out and I'm still fighting it out. Sigh. Dr. Kopacz very flatly told me this will probably be my only pregnancy, but if in the event its not -- I will for sure be looking elsewhere for care. read more

Worst doctors office I have ever been to. Unprofessional, rude, unhelpful, etc etc. do not recommend period.

I had my first appointment with this office yesterday and left after waiting for 2 hours without being seen. I took time off work for this and not once did the unprofessional staff make me aware or apologize for the PA running behind. Furthermore, the MA/whomever roomed me after 1.5 hours of waiting, was dismissive about my PMDD diagnosis, implied that I would be given a PAP Smear regardless of my consent, and then when I finally told the staff at the 2 hours of waiting mark, that I was leaving, the response was "oh ok". Not offer of apology, no offer to reschedule. Additionally, I paid my co-pay for that visit and never got seen. So I paid to wait, and lost wages. The office was chaos, unprofessional, and I was made to feel entirely unwelcome and unimportant. They don't even wear name badges Horrible experience. As a healthcare worker myself, this is unacceptable. read more

I had been coming here for years and honestly i was so fed up I had to switch doctor's offices. They were great at the beginning but over the years the office staff and nurse practitioners have became rude, and inconsiderate of people's time. I did not feel like I could come to them with my concerns during my last pregnancy. I will say not all the girls were mean (mostly the younger staff) but pretty much everyone made you feel like a burden. Even when you called over the phone. Dr. Kopacz was great and really nice but sadly her office didn't reflect that. I went to the office both my pregnancy but will not return after this last one. read more

This rating is specifically the providers in the office. I want to call out that the office staff here are some of the rudest people I have interacted with in a medical setting. If it wasn't for Dr. Kopacz, I would not be at this obgyn. She cared for me when I was delivering my son in 2024 and a few days later when I developed postpartum preeclampsia. Her care was so influential in how I recovered after delivery. And I am so grateful for her. Now for the office staff, for my first appt, I arrived at the wrong location and instead of letting me know I was at the wrong office, they berated me that I was too far away to make it to my appt time and they would cancel my appt. Understandable that they needed to cancel the appt, but I didn't need to be berated for this happening. After rescheduling for the following month, I arrive to another office staff member (long black hair & glasses) who already had a chip on her shoulder. She gave me quite a bit of attitude when telling me that I was considered a no-show to my previous appt and I would be charged $50 if I did that again. Well obviously I didn't intend to be a no-show and they knew that because she said "you went to the wrong location or whatever." All in all, these women working the front desk seem to really dislike their jobs. If you attend this office, just try to ignore the rude staff so you can be seen by a very caring provider! read more

Update: I couldn't take it anymore so I transferred to another office. When I called to cancel all further appointments I waited on hold for 27 minutes. Then a few days later I got an email saying I was a no show and had to call again. Ridiculous! I would not recommend this place to anyone. My first day at another office they gave me a folder of everything I should know and tons of information that I would have never received from Fresno Women's Medical Group. Do better! read more

My wife gave birth on 4/1/25 at CCMC. She was in the hospital for 2 weeks prior to giving birth as her water broke early. Dr. Kopacz stopped by on two occasions (Not my wife's OB, she was just on call that day). Her bedside manner wasn't great, but it was only a few minutes worth of a visit. The real issue came after my wife gave birth. We received a bill from their office as expected; however, I realized the insurance was not used and they were charging us the full price. I called the billing office to explain my wife had insurance under my policy. The biller wasn't great over the phone, but explained to me that when they ran our insurance it showed it was active *after* the visits occurred in the hospital. I told her my wife had been on my plan for well over 3 years. She went on to explain that it wasn't showing when they ran our insurance and to call our insurance. We just received notice in the mail that we were sent to collections from their office. My wife's 2 week stay at the hospital totaled well over $150,000 towards our insurance. The hospital, the anesthesiologist, the multiple OBs that visited us, the post postpartum care, the NICU, every single one of them was able to bill our insurance appropriately except for this one office and we are now being sent to collections over their ineptitude. As an office manager for a local cardiology practice myself, I have to say I am absolutely appalled at how our situation has been handled. read more

I love all of the staff in this office and have never had a single issue with any of them. I feel like I have been well taken care of since becoming a patient here. I can agree the wait times are lengthy but there are times that's not within the doctors and nurses control. If enough people are 5-10 minutes late to any appointment your time could very well be pushed out. My referrals are always done almost immediately, labs or tests ordered immediately and very punctual when responding to patient messages. I've delivered one baby with them an continued care with Robin as my PCP. I see Jessica most of the time and we've never had any issues! read more

The only reason why I'm continuing to seek care here is because of Doctor Kopacz. She goes above and beyond to make sure her patients feel welcomed and taken care of. She believes in health that goes beyond medication. If the doctor wasn't so great, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Every single one of the staff members are very rude. ESPECIALLY the ultrasound tech and receptionists. This is my first pregnancy, and I would like to have an experience that is memorable. So far, I have only had rude encounters. I called the receptionist to confirm my ultrasound appointment (please keep in mind, they do not confirm your ultrasound appointment times, they will only confirm the visit with the doctor). The receptionist responded with "What makes you think you're having an ultrasound?". As for the ultrasound tech, she does not take the time to explain what we are looking at and rushes you out quickly. read more

Horrible experience! Sadly will not be returning, the only person in the office that cares about the patients is Jessica the PA. This is my third pregnancy and second time being a patient at FWMG. Office staff are so unprofessional and rude. I am 37 weeks pregnant and high risk. The PA sent my C-section referral at 32 weeks and it has yet to be scheduled. When asked at my previous appointment as to why I could not get a direct answer. When I declined and said I would prefer natural birth anyway I was treated as if I was a problem and told I had no choice but to deliver via C-section. I also asked for a note to release me from work and was told it would be added to my MyChart. Fast forward two days and that has yet to happen. I called voicing my concerns and was put on hold for 25 minutes. I screenshotted the call. When I asked who I could speak to about the issues and how upset I was, Mary, gave me an attitude. Told me to have a good day and hung up on me. Needless to say I never got a confirmed appointment for my C-section or a drs note releasing me from work. Due to my high risk and gestational age another dr won't touch me. I sadly have to tough it out and deal with this horrible unprofessional office until I am 6 weeks postpartum and can return to work. read more

I was super excited to been seen as and OBGYN patient until they told me I couldn't be seen. Once I turned 26 I got kicked off Kaiser insurance under my mom so I tried to be seen here and they kept telling me they couldn't see me. Keep in mind I'm already 7 weeks pregnant and super nauseous. I needed help. And the older lady that "helped" me every single time over the phone was no help at all. I tried explaining to her that Kaiser is no longer my primary because I'm 26 now and that I can get a letter printed from Kaiser saying that my membership is no longer active and she kept saying it doesn't matter. So I asked her you can't help me at all and she said yup I can't help you. I felt defeated. I'm super nauseous and all I wanted was some help. I literally have a different primary insurance under my husband but she insisted that Kaiser is still my primary even though you automatically get kicked off on your 26th birthday. I even called Kaiser and told them what was going on and they tried to help me but for some odd reason she just wasn't helping me get in to be seen as a patient. So any moms out there they want to be seen I recommend you go somewhere else. Also, they won't take you as a new patient if you are past 13 weeks. read more

I was skeptical of coming here due to reviews, but only had good experiences here with the RNs, staff and Dr. Kopacz. Wait times were very reasonable for all my visits and the ladies at front desk were always so pleasant and nice. The medical records gal was super fast in getting anything I needed. I highly recommend this place. One drawback was at one point they did not allow a support person in appointments, but most of my pregnancy they did. read more

Horrible place. Do not go here! My was was forced to Urinate - to confirm pregnancy.... in order to get an ultrasound. She was sick, vomiting consistently AND we had proof of a positive test. She was unable to produce urine (from dehydration!!!). Despite having a positive test and evidence, they refused!! Why don't you just do a blood test!!? Because it cost the firm more money!! This is a busy office with a caring Doctor & PA. There is a shortage of good Ob/Gyn's that are female. I am Thankful that I am a patient in Dr Kopacz's office & am able to see her & her amazing PA, Stephanie. They are informed , well educated & extremely Busy. I don't like waiting in the Lobby for an appointment Either. But I would rather wait for a good Doctor than get immediately Ushered back to see a bad Doctor. I have never experienced any staff rudeness . Dr Kopacz tries to run the office as efficiently as possible. There is a website for you to email with any questions or concerns. Please find another place: the front office is the worst that I have ever dealt with, and a liability to you and your baby. I had my first child with Dr. Kopacz, and had a good enough experience that we wanted to have our second with her as well. At my 20-week appointment, we talked to Dr. Kopacz about a repeat c-section, paid our monthly installment towards the doctor fees, and made an appointment for 24 weeks. Everything seemed fine. Two weeks later on a Thursday, I received a phone call that my 24-week appointment was being canceled and as of Sunday (in three days) I would no longer be a patient with Fresno Women's Medical Group. I asked to speak to Christy Kelly (my nurse practitioner) or Dr. Kopacz to see what I should do about my upcoming fetal echocardiogram that was scheduled for Tuesday, and the front office refused to let me speak to or deliver a note to either person. In the space of a phone call I had went from having prenatal care to having nothing. Because the only way to get in touch with Kelly or Dr. Kopacz was through the front office, I had no way to contact either of them, even in the case of an emergency. This was one of the scariest moments of my life, and I was anxious and stressed until I found a doctor that was willing to take me. I'm still sad that this office took away weeks of me being able to enjoy being pregnant because I was so worried and preoccupied about not having a doctor. We would later find that the office had sent us a letter saying they were dropping me as a patient with a 30-day notice, but that letter was never delivered, which they knew as they had sent it certified mail. (The letter gave no indication as to why they were dropping us.) I'm also concerned that the front office had sent such a letter and yet Dr. Kopacz seemed to know nothing about it. It's her office; she should at least be made aware when a pregnant patient is about to lose prenatal care with her. One smaller issue I had with this office, but shows how little they care about their patients, is with paying bills. I received a call the afternoon before my 16-week appointment that I would need to pay my part of the sonogram bill before they would see me the next day. We had only received the invoice the day before and were days from Christmas. We were fortunate enough that we could pay the balance, but I'm sure many other people would not be able to. Someone's prenatal care shouldn't be contingent on paying a bill early. If you are pregnant, please find another office. I have heard good things about Dr. Reddington and Women's Specialty Office (Dr. Dan Dorough, Dr. David Dorough and Dr. Lorenzo Lopez) if you need a few names to get you started in your search. read more

After my child being a patient there for years, and having primary and secondary insurance, they said they can no longer see my child because they don't accept the secondary insurance, even though they've successfully billed the primary insurance! Now they refused us treatment. It's like they are upset because they cannot double bill insurance. Not only that, they've had this info on file, nothing new, but waited until we drove 30 minutes to get there to tell us this. Horrible policy and horrible service. I couldn't agree more that this whole office is a SHIT SHOW. The staff women are catty, give you attitude, and have no sense of urgency. The front desk tells you one thing, then transfers you to records woman...she absolutely has no idea what she is doing and tells you it's someone else's job. They will buckle and dime you for EVERY OFFICE VISIT. You have to pay another Co-pay just to have them read the results to you. This is wrong. And they will not hand them over to you. I wish that I can give this business 0 stars. Every single time I come here, the ladies at the front desk seem to never care to help me and they are extremely rude. I work in customer service... play the part and be respectful. I will not be coming here anymore. I am extremely frustrated with the encounter I had this morning. I had an appointment a few months back and the lady at the front desk told me I didn't have a copay. I came in to my appointment today and a different lady at the front desk told me I had a balance on my account and the doctor wouldn't see me until I paid the balance. The lady at the front desk would not explain to me what the balance was for. She just kept explaining the day that it was on. Nobody seemed to be able to give me answers to any of the questions that I was asking. A man also came in and the lady ignored what I was saying to talk to this gentle man. The day we went in for our appointment they were absolutely slammed. The nurse came in and updated us about the wait time and offered to reschedule us for a different day if we wanted or didn't have the time to wait. She was very kind the whole time. We chose to stay and wait to see the doctor. She was attentive, spend her time explaining all of my daughters different options she had and what the plan of care looked like for each. We left feeling like our concerns were taken seriously and that we were put on the best path to figuring out what is happening with her health. read more

Besides waiting 45 min to an hour I still give this place a 5 star rating. I've been coming here for all my prenatal checkups and always have a pleasant experience with the staff. I believe one of the front desk receptionists name is Dana, and she is THE BEST!!! She's always so polite, and really on top of her job she truly just adds the extra bit of warm welcoming to a doc office. The doctors are all great, they hear you out and take their time with your visit. I have Hansen and Kopatch (pretty sure I misspelled it). That's probably why they take a while to get to you and honestly the wait is no biggie to me. I just know not to schedule things to close to the time I go in. read more

I would like to start out by saying I liked my PA and the nurse who ended up admitting me to the hospital. That being said the rest of this office and it's operations are absolutely horrible. Wait time has exceeded an hour nearly every time I go there with the exception of the 45 minute wait time I had at my last appointment and I mean the last appointment I ever had with them. I went to see a perinatal doctor aside from the OBGYN to make sure everything was okay and they saw spots on my placenta and said my OB should follow up on it and they never did. She actually canceled my next ultrasound! I ended up being admitted for 5 days before having to have an emergency c-section and my son was only 3.4 lbs and had to spend 2 weeks in the nicu. Please, save your time and go somewhere else with better care, nicer staff, and more organization. read more

When I first got pregnant I had no clue what to do. I found this place on Google and I'm so happy I did. For me, it was literally a God-send! They helped me get medi-cal and find a pediatrician. Among so many other things they guided me through, they also provided me with compassion without treating me like a child. They are open and honest and will talk to you about anything. They answer any and all questions you have and never judge. The office is so clean and new. The people in the front are so nice! There is one girl especially, I don't know her name, she was always so happy! I had 2 appointments in 1 day, one in the am and one later, she was STILL happy and cheerful later in the day. It wasn't an act! She's just really like that! I recommend getting your appointments early in the morning to beat a crowd. For some ultrasounds they refer you to another doctor and I would recommend dr.woods. there is also a quest diagnostics right next door to do your blood work done. The labor and delivery will be done at clovis community hospital which is all I could've asked for in a pregnancy experience. I had all 3 babies with dr.kopacz and fresno women's medical group. I love them there and would never.consider changing or going elsewhere. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know who is pregnant. read more

I had a 2:20pm appointment. I was told I needed to arrive at 1:50, which I did. I had already completed all of my "new" patient forms online. When I checked in, I was told that there was one patient ahead of me, for my provider. After the waiting room filled and was cleared, I was finally called back. By the way, the ONLY thing that happened in the 30 minutes prior to my appointment time was a a scan of my identification and insurance cards. Interestingly, I had already uploaded my insurance cards digitally, so really just a copy of my ID. I inquired to make sure that my chart or electronic record was not misplaced or deleted. No, I was still the "next patient!" The waiting room filled and emptied, and I was still there. Many arriving after me, and leaving before me. I understand the concept of multiple providers, but this is ridiculous. If you have time to sit around, this process may work for you.... read more

I always, always have to wait at least 20-30 minutes past my appt time. I have never been seen on time.NEVER. So I went for my scheduled annual exam today and was told I would have to reschedule because I signed in at 9:26 and my appt time was 9:10 and there new policy is if you are 15 mins late you have to reschedule and I was 1 min over the 15 min cut off time. Really!?! Keep in mind they let sit in the office 20 mins before they brought to my attention! VERY DISAPPOINTED with this office!!!! Bottom line: I like the doctors and PAs here. That's the big thing. But, there are some things to be aware of if you choose to get care here. 1. If you're having prenatal care here, you'll rarely if ever see the doctor (and she probably won't even be the one to deliver your baby!). It'll probably be 99% PA appointments. 2. I've had multiple appointments start over one hour late - and I had the first appointment of the day! 3. It seems like "assembly line" medical care here. They take on a lot of patients. They are very regimented with their approaches and policy, so much so that they seem to lose sight of specific things that might warrant a departure from their ways. read more

I've been coming to Fresno Women's Medical group almost 20 years but since they have moved to Clovis..their service delivery has drastically changed. The wait times are very long and you see an NP well after your scheduled time...be prepared to wait at least an hour. Nothing you communicate with the schedulers over the phone is communicated to your doctor. I've only stayed this long as I loved the NP Kristy but now that she's gone....theres nothing keeping me here. Let's just say I'm be switching to a new ob/gyn clinic very soon and I don't recommend this place to anyone.. read more

Being a patient at this office has been such a frustrating experience. -Long hold times 10-15 minutes every time I have called to make an appointment or return calls. -After filling out the long new patient packet there were multiple errors on my chart. When I addressed the error every time I was blamed or my insurance was blamed by a rude receptionist. I called my insurance and they didn't even have the information in their system that the chart said. -Second appointment I had to go over all the same information because they lost everything from the first. All the same information that is on the new patient paperwork that I showed up an hour early to submit on the first appointment. No one bothered to re enter what I had submitted. I had to go over all of it again. -I was told one of the issues I was dealing with wasn't pregnancy related and I needed to see a General Practitioner. After seeing 4 different Doctors EVERYONE of the Doctors said my OB should have and could have dealt with this issue. Three of those Doctors refused to see me because I was pregnant. One even called the office and was told by this office to send me to the ER. After waiting an additional 2 hours at the ER affiliated with this office I was told my OB could of addressed this and there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to wait in the waiting room until the symptom flared again. -When I tried to get my medical records I was addressed by the rudest employee. I was promised the longest wait time for records on 3 appointments. Needless to say nothing about this office made me feel cared for or that the needs of my unborn baby and I would be taken serious. When I was struggling and needed care they continued to say my health wasn't in their wheel house. They act like patients aren't worth their time, that they are always in the right. I couldn't possibly know my own name and birthdate where wrong in the chart, it wasn't their fault. It was mine. Save yourself time and know you are worth being treated better than this office continually treated me. read more

This office has the worst patient care I have yet to come across. The only decent thing about this office is the NP, Christy Kelly, whom is very kind. And the front desk staff who although always checks me in late, always greets me and says farewell with a smile. I was already an established patient here when I became pregnant, so it was a given that I would continue on with my pregnancy with this practice. I had only met the NP, so my time to meet Dr. Kopacz was near. I met her once, for 5 minutes, throughout the first 21 weeks of my pregnancy. There was never another opportunity to meet her because I have cancelled all future appointments and found a new provider. This is my first pregnancy, I cannot begin to explain the stress I have come to have due to being more then half way into my pregnancy and having to find a new doctor due to my lack of confidence with Dr. Kopacz and her staff. I felt extremely uncomfortable at this practice, as if I was a total burden to them. I work for a doctor, so patient care is a very big deal to me. I would never want to be associated with a practice that provides poor care and makes their patients feel like a hassle. I understand that things may go wrong in the office some days and we can all fall behind sometimes, but there is no excuse for how things have repeatedly been going wrong at my appointments. When I was sick and calling the office asking if the medications given to me from urgent care were okay, they made me feel like I was a complete airhead. I've never been pregnant, I am nervous and new to this all, I like reassurance sometimes. Especially when I was seeing a lot of spots for a few days and my vision was getting blurry, the medical assistants would not relay a message to the doctor, they told me I needed to "eat more meat". The ultrasound tech here, which I was told there was only one, is the most unpleasant person I have come across in a doctors office, ever. She looks as though she hates her job, and acts as though she does, too. I thought that I was possibly over exaggerating on the care provided in this office, until my significant other pointed it out without me even mentioning anything to him. I can be quite the critic at times, but when he points something out before me, then I know it's bad. I reached out to the office administrator, Ione, who was quick to reply through email. But after I expressed my concerns to her, I have yet to hear back. This was two weeks ago. I have emailed her again asking if she acknowledged my previous email about the concerns, no reply. I also called the office and spoke to a receptionists (possibly a Rochelle), asking if Ione was available. She stated she was at the office but wasn't sure for how much longer and that she could relay a message to her for me. Still no response after I asked for the message to be given to the administrator. I decided to seek a new doctor, and cancel all future appointments. When I cancelled my appointments they had no worry about it. No worry that I was 5 months pregnant and cancelling all my appointments and not wanting to reschedule. Most offices will ask for a reason, and if there is anything they can do to help resolve any issues. Nope, not this one... Go ahead and cancel your appointments, not even a "good luck" or "take care". I am so disappointed to say the least. And I could probably go on and on, but I've gotten myself upset enough over this practice, and I need to let it go now. I just hope that any new mommy-to-be's out there can see this and hopefully get use from the review. read more

Our experience was with the North Office, under the care of Dr. Dabbs (and NP Nancy). Specific care was adequate, however in the initial discovery visit when questions were asked was met with "we have a process, wait until the visit assigned to deal with that question." If you ask about Cesarean rates, be prepared for a lot of defensive pushback (How dare you ask a medical professional with far more experience than you to discuss their c-section rate!) Initial early pregnancy visits will be with the NP (ours was excellent) who will act as a liaison for your Dr. until later visits. Do not expect to see your doctor outside of the last few visits. In those visits, you will listen and not speak (don't forget, they have a plan for you, regardless of your own birthing plan!) We ended up presenting some potential complications with elevated blood pressure and protein in the urine. Little of the true impact or risk of this was discussed with us and the whole issue came off as a CYA measure for their organization. I get it, people sue, you don't have a choice but to protect your organization. But for the love of god discuss it with us first! Somehow in a weeks time we were transferred to the care of a specialist with Children's Hospital, and pressured to induce at 34 weeks (which happened). There was little to no explanation of the reasoning behind this at the time, and the rush of circumstances left a feeling of emergency, panic and medical necessity that all but removed any initial expectation of our birthing plan. - We did not deliver with the doctor we built a relationship with. - We did not deliver at the hospital we planned to. (The latter led to our child picking up a staph infection while in their NICU that extended our stay by 4 weeks. The numbers don't lie - take a look at infections at each of the primary medical facilities in town. There were massive differences in where we ended up and where we planned and paid to be. Because our care was handed over to another doctor at 34 weeks, we sought to be refunded in part for the up front fees paid to the office for L&D. This became an absolute nightmare and the office staff gave nothing but excuses and pushback for FOUR MONTHS until we were forced to threaten suit to finally resolve the issue (who makes a client do this in order to resolve a small administrative matter?) Overall our pregnancy felt like a medical condition that was to be cured with a template treatment on rails. Even that was accelerated into an non-elective Cesarean at 34 weeks that was not explained adequately and performed by staff and doctors we did not know. After you read the online reviews, good and bad, talk to your friends and neighbors about the pressure they received for early induction and c-sec (from FWMG or any other). Our experience is not unique, and is not the way a pregnancy should be experienced. If you're unwilling or unable to take an active part in your pregnancy and want the rails experience, by all means go for it. We did not, attempted to be more active in our care, and were "put in our place" for it. We made the mistake of sharing our need for care with a business. Good luck out there. read more

Worst Staff ever. now Dr Kopacz delivered my Both my daughter and she was Amazing along with the whole surgical staff, my NP, Christie Kelly, is AMAZING LOVE HER. But as far as the staff! Horrible NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES,rude and don't even take the time to talk or explain shit when you have questions. Usually when being checked in you wait a extra hour for your appointment. PLEASE if you have good insurance, DO NOT come here. Especially if you are expecting. I am expecting my first child and have seriously had the worst experience at this office. First of all, I met my OB I was assigned to at 10 weeks, she failed to tell me she was leaving, and just left. I was furious. They left me seeing a nurse practitioner who is totally incompetent (will not say names) always late, sometimes wouldn't even show up. I didn't get to meet my doctor until I was 28 weeks. Does that seem odd to you? How far along that I'm finally seeing a doctor? Thankfully, the doctor I was recently assigned to, the only male doctor at the practice is very patient, helpful, and I am very happy with him. It all depends on who you see. Overall, the practice itself is horrible. Thankfully my doctor is okay. They have caused me a lot of unnecessary stress since I have been a patient there. read more

First of all, I think they deserve 0 stars, but unfortunately that is not an option on Yelp. This place is a nightmare. To begin with, they seem to not care about their patients. They never had time to listen to what we had to say in regard to any medical concern. They also didn't seem very ethical. After an appointment they were extremely pushy about scheduling a procedure with their own doctor. When we did schedule the original appointment for the procedure, they placed it three months in advance and required payment in full the day of the procedure...before services were even provided. We felt like we were being pressured into buying a used car from a sketchy dealership. After seeking out a second opinion we found out so much more information that FWMG neglected to tell us including some important test results they "overlooked." We were not told about these results until after going to another doctor. This is just one of many examples that shows how incompetent they are. They recently sent a nasty letter telling my girlfriend that they are terminating her as a patient because she did not show up for her appointment on 8/1/2008 "nor did she cancel within 24 hours." This letter was received on 7/15/2008 (sent certified mail) and was dated 7/10/2008. Besides the fact that she canceled this appointment 3 weeks ago, does anyone else see anything wrong with this? She had called and canceled that particular appointment in the beginning of July and had to call 5+ times from 9am until 12pm to finally get a hold of someone simply to cancel the appointment. In addition to these problems: they "misplaced" her file for an extended period of time, always delayed appointments (seeing her well over an hour past the scheduled time), and were extremely difficult to deal with over the phone whenever we called. I would recommend seeking services from just about anywhere else if possible other than FWMG. read more

Pros: I had no complaints regarding the professional services of of PA Kim Harris. Professional, caring, and appts were kept on time. I actually really liked her. Cons: Office practices. They assign you to an NP under a physician, which I didn't mind, but in the almost 3 years I was a patient, my assigned physician left, the NP I saw at my last visit left (my original NP was out sick that day), and my chosen NP I saw had also left the practice. Why is the turnover so high? Furthermore, I was only notified that my provider was gone after an extended phone call and a transferred call when they had no clue who I was. What did you do with my chart? I was an established patient... I didn't appreciate not being notified when my provider left. I didn't appreciate the uselessness and disregard I received from the office assistants while I trying to make an appt. The initial employee I talked to, just kept saying I don't know, I'm new. The second employee wasn't very helpful either. They said I could make an appt with a third provider, and when I asked about that person they referred to the website. Well your website says "information coming soon". Thanks for nothing. This is a huge office with many different providers, heavy staff turnover (makes you wonder why providers leave), and run like a disjointed factory. I am not going back. read more

I love this office! Always friendly and helpful. Dr. Linscheid is kind and willing to answer my questions as is the NP. Dana in scheduling is also great! The office is also convenient since it's near the hospital and it's always spotless clean. I never have had to wait long except 1 time to get an ultrasound. I've had nothing but great experiences at this office. The schedulers were nice, and so were the front desk workers. Scheduling an appointment was easy and I didn't have to wait months to get in. I also requested Dr. Beingesser, and they accommodated my request with no problem. Dr. B. has to be one of the best doctors I've ever dealt with. She has treated my mom for years, and she's also been very happy with Dr. B. She's got one of those personalities that immediately puts you at ease, no matter how nervous or uncomfortable you are. She's funny and personable, and took time explaining the details of my surgery, which I appreciated. She's one of the few doctors I've dealt with who didn't rush through my exam and then quickly shuffle me away. She took time to answer all my questions, then ask if I had more. When I said no, she gave me her email address so I could ask questions if any came up. My surgery went well, and although I had some complications after, Dr. B. still made me feel comfortable. I've never, ever had a doctor call several times to check up on me. After my surgery, she called my partner and I several times to reassure me and make sure I was doing OK. I really appreciated that. My follow up appointment went well, too. She was nice enough to give me some free samples of medication, which I also appreciated. When I was upset and having a really bad day, she walked me all the way out to my car. How many doctors do you know who really take the time with their patients like that? I would really recommend this office. Even though exams and surgery are never enjoyable, this office makes things a whole lot better. read more

I have to agree with the other gentleman who reviewed this place, in that it truly is deserving of "0" stars. It is a nightmare, so if you are considering medical care at the Fresno Womens Medical Group...beware. Good luck getting to see an OB/GYN at the Fresno Women's Medical Group. When I had a serious medical issue, they were extremely insensitive and reluctant to accommodate me with my wishes for treatment. I was made to feel as if I had created an inconvenience for the doctor who was on call. I was never allowed to meet with my assigned OB/GYN, Dr. Beingesser, even when I insisted on it, at which time I was told she was out of the office on conference. I went to the Fresno Women's Medical Group for almost a year and STILL never saw my OB/GYN, Dr. Beingesser. I also discovered (after switching to another OB/GYN at competent medical facility), that FWMC had lied to me about the results of a pap test I had before switching doctors. Horrifying! I would not recommend this medical group for anyone who needs prenatal care, they are extremely negligent in caring for their patients. read more
