I called this morning to ask if they would help me move my 5th wheel to level it. New gravel had severely packed on one side affecting gas flow. Cloverdale Auto has recommended them. Due to a complication at a previously scheduled tow they were able to come within 2 hours of my calling instead of next day. Wow! Knowledgeable, efficient and more helpful than I could have imagined. Horrible! My insurance lined them up to come get me and they said an hour. An hour and twenty minutes later I called to check on time and they said within twenty minutes-the driver said the last tow took longer than he thought. Waited another forty minutes and called my insurance, they couldn't even get through to that tow company and called another, who showed up in twenty minutes. Do NOT use them, call literally anyone else. read more

Hopefully, you never need a tow truck. But when it's 8:00 PM and pitch black and you're stranded by the side of the 101 with a non-working motorcycle, you'd be lucky to be near Cloverdale, CA where you can give Cloverdale Towing a call. After a 5 minute orientation session ("Are you hurt, do you need paramedics? Which direction were you headed? Can you tell us what exit you passed? What's your cell number - we're dispatching the driver right now.") the bright lights of the tow truck show up and the moment of bliss is nigh. After checking out my bike (which was alright except for a broken shifter), my driver gave my bike the royal treatment on a lift, and I got a drive into town. They stored the bike overnight for FREE, drove me to a motel, and even got me in touch with a local welder to get the shifter repaired first thing the following morning. It was a surreal experience - I went from a hopeless post-accident evening to being on the road and a good night's sleep, and they charged me a fair price for their help. I should add that I had called 4-5 other towing companies in Ukiah prior to giving these guys a call, and was getting the run-around, disconnections, and unprofessional phone operators - they were not helping my agitated state. Don't make the same mistake - if you need a tow and you're near Cloverdale, let the team at Cloverdale Tow help you save time, stress, and get you on the road quicker. Amazing experience with this company. They came quickly when I had an issue with my Mercedes. I ended up having a mileage issue with Mercedes (they wanted to charge me an extra $350 to tow my car to the correct dealership) and Cloverdale Tow stayed on the phone with them until midnight and made sure the remainder of the tow was covered w Mercedes. I broke down in the side of the freeway, and I called my towing service, who called Cloverdale Tow. I was given a 60 minute wait time. Mind you, I'm literally sitting on the side of SB 101. So after an hour passes, I call them and the woman who answered told me to give it another 10 minutes and they should be there. So I continue to wait, still no tow truck. I called my towing service to complain, and they then called Cloverdale Tow. Now I get a call from them saying their driver is running about 20 minutes behind. So finally after 2 hours, they show up. I would never go through this company on my own. They left me out in the burning heat for 2 hours. 2 thumbs down on this one. The only thing they helped me with was my tan. read more

Within 40 minutes they found me in a remote area near Lake Sonoma and got my car safety to the auto shop. I wish I had called them first and will only call them in the future. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have such a business nearby as Cloverdale tow. I just got a new car (New to me) from a dealer, and an unforeseen issue arose with part of my suspension/steering system. I almost lost control on the road, and I was afraid that was going to cost me hundreds if not over $1000 to remedy. Cloverdale auto showed up, the young gentleman looked me in the eye, with a confident smile, and said "Let me take a look at this. " He crawled under my car with me, and we started looking at the under workings. I am not a car person. I'm mechanically inclined, but I'm not very good at cars. After about three minutes of letting him check it out, he said "aha! I think I found your problem " So, he offered to help fix it, we jacked the car up, he tightened a loose nut that for the lack of better words holds my wheel to my chassis and the problem was fixed. We MacGyver'd a very safe fix that would get me home safe, using our combined mechanical and technical experience, and he strongly advised me to get it into the shop for what turned out to only be about a dollar in parts and 15 minutes in labor when I got it fixed. Back on the road with a baby on the way. I wasn't sure how life was going to work out without my car functioning and a potentially large bill looming on the horizon. Below is my review for ABC Tow, operating as All City Tow, and named on the Cloverdale Tow website. This barely worked out, I wish there were better options in the upper north bay. The company's name is now All City Tow, and the business is based in Cloverdale, but also operates out of Healdsburg. I think they have severe telephone and scheduling problems, it feels like they take on every tow request that comes through, but then have real trouble delivering what they promise. My car was at a local repair shop in H'burg, and needed a tow down to San Rafael area, and I was already home, just trying to arrange the transfer. The price was competitive, compared to outfits in San Rafael and Novato, and they said they could do the tow the day I called. After the first promised pickup had come and gone (at noon), I was told the driver was finishing a run, and would be back to get the car at 3:00. My mechanic near San Rafael stayed late to receive the car, but it never came. The tow company had picked the car up at end of day, and left it on their flatbed overnight. When I checked in the morning, was told they had communicated with my mechanic and would have it there before noon. It didn't arrive until 4:00 So, it worked out, my car was moved, and is none the worse for the delay, but I'm dumbfounded by the poor communication and broken promises. http://www.towingincloverdale.com/ read more

We ran out of gas outside of Cloverdale. Called these guys for help because they were close- or so we thought, but they said they will send a guy to bring us gas but he is coming from Santa Rosa and it would take an hour. We waited for an hour and a half! Don't call them if you want quick service. read more

No one wants to break down, but if you do these guys are great! We were stuck in Sonoma on a Saturday afternoon and called AAA. Our car need a flatbed so it was a little longer wait, which it always is. While we were waiting a regular tow truck from Cloverdale pulled up and the driver (who I think is the manager or owner) got out and came over to see if we were ok and offered us bottles of water. He said he would stay until his guy with the flatbed arrives from another job- amazing! The flatbed showed up AHEAD of schedule and we were on the road in no time. Horrendous customer service. Called on the Saturday afternoon for a charge for a dead battery. I explained that I was babysitting my grandchildren and the car was my daughters that hadn't been driven for five days. This was not an emergency but I wanted to get it taken care of before my daughter returned on Monday and needed the car for work Female customer service rep was courteous and forwarded my order to a driver to contact me that day with a time. Heard nothing from company. Called again Monday am to verify when someone was coming. A very rude man said there was no record of my prior request and seemed annoyed when I attempted to rescheduled for that morning. I decided to try a differential Geico authorized vendor who came immediately and took care of the issue. This is one of those reviews where I wish I could give less than one star. This company was dispatched via Geico and after multiple delays on their initial ETA I finally canceled the tow. I would never do business with them and recommended Geico remove them from their provider list. read more

Excellent roadside assistance. I suffered a tire blowout on my way to the airport, with little time to spare. I pulled out my AAA card, dialed the number, and listened to a recorded message tell me it would be a minimum of 20 minutes before anyone could even speak with me. I hung up, found Coverdale Tow on Yelp, called the number, and explained my situation. The service truck driver called almost immediately to confirm my location, told me he was on his way, and arrived promptly. He removed the blowout, installed the full-size spare, checked it's tire pressure, and got me on my way. I made it to the airport on time, and am typing this review as I wait for the boarding call for my flight. read more

Cloverdale Tow was subcontracted by my insurance company to provide a tow. I called Cloverdale Tow to confirm my whereabouts and their estimated arrival time. I waited for two and a half hours (one and a half hours past the estimated time) and there was no tow truck and no phone call indicating any status. I called Cloverdale Tow and it took 15 minutes for them to tell me that they "passed the ball" and called my insurance company rather than providing the assistance of a direct call to the customer waiting roadside on 100+ degree day. Maybe that's all you can expect from this tow truck company. read more

After being stranded on Mark West Springs Rd. in the dark and rain after my car hit a rock and blew a tire, I called my recommended roadside assistance at 5:22 who directed me to Cloverdale Tow. At 5:44 They got my directions and said it would be 90 minutes and I had to be with the car. After 1 confirming text and 3 confirming calls later I was still waiting at 9:15 at night. I was just lucky my husband had cell service. Called again and they said," Oh no we can't go that far." What????????? Now they tell us? In the time we were there, another car blew a tire, we called his tow company for him and 1 hour later her was towed while we still waited for the tow we had called hours before. Now another hour to call another tow, finally getting home at 10:30 at night. Thank you Cloverdale Towing for you courtesy and caring. It would have helped to know 4 hours earlier you were not going to come. I really wish I could give you even lower marks. read more

Geico had arranged a tow for me from Cloverdale Tow. They gave an ETA of 45 minutes. After I talked with geico, Cloverdale Tow called and asked for more details. They asked if the car was lowered and I said yes, the dispatcher said he would send a flat bed. 45 minutes go by without seeing a tow truck and geico calls back saying Cloverdale Tow claimed the car had a flat tire and could not tow my car. After geico tried to sort things out Cloverdale Tow said they would not tow the car. Why couldn't they tell me that in the first place? I'm sure they would manage to tow my car if I left it in this parking lot. read more

I love these guys! Cloverdale Tow showed up alongside the highway when our car broke down just north of town. We hadn't even had time to finish calling for a tow truck--our driver said CHP called them.He was very professional, fast, safe, reassuring. He immediately saw what the problem was, got our car hitched up to his truck, and called ahead to a local mechanic who was able to fix the problem immediately. The whole thing was so quick and professional and pleasant. They made breaking down by the side of the road as nice an experience as it could possibly be. Highly recommended. read more
