Our insurance company was being so difficult so we ended up calling this company directly. The representative who answered the phone was so helpful and even gave us some tips on dealing with our insurance company. We had already been stranded for about an hour in 100 degree weather with 3 kids in the middle of no where. The representative sent someone out right away with waters for all of us and said they'd send out the bigger truck so we could all fit in for the ride. Our driver Daniel arrived and we were on our way. As we arrived at the Tesla charging station, we discovered the car was so dead we couldn't even open the doors or get it to start charging. Daniel stayed out there with my husband for what had to be about an hour and a half trying to help him figure it out. He allowed my kids and I to stay in the tow truck with the AC. Daniel had to call another truck out to help and all was resolved. I am very grateful for how quickly they got to us, how understanding they were, and how patient they were. AAA sent Lake Fleet Repair to help me get my baby home. The driver - I'm so sorry I don't remember his name! - was very friendly and helpful even though he had to navigate his huge truck on the narrow, bumpy roads to the barely accessible location where the car had decided to stop running. He was unfazed and good-humored despite the heat. Just his manner was enough to make me less stressed. He quickly got my little car (which wouldn't start) on the truck and was soon on his way. I left shortly after but didn't catch up with him until we passed Pinole on highway 80. When we got to Albany the driver was nice enough to help us get the car into a parking spot before he left. He was easily the friendliest, helpful and efficient driver I have ever encountered. Situations like this tend to bring out the worst in people but he was happy to answer questions, address concerns and explain what was going to happen even though he was loading a car onto flatbed on a twisty road in the middle of nowhere in 100+ degree heat. And I haven't mentioned the nice helpful woman I spoke to while setting up the tow. I've forgotten her name too but she deserves a shout-out for her professionalism and calm, relaxing manner while she explained and walked me through the process. The dealer said my ECM under the dash had shorted due to rain and fried my fuze box and damaged the finer things like radio and TCU and some smaller circuits. The repair of drivers door, replaced seats, ECM and other items as well as the reason for non start, the ( oil pressure sensor ) and the tiny paint chips due to the other cars parked to close at S&K ding ding ding warning Warning WARNING !!! The simple $90 job to replace a pressure sensor was a $9648. plus towing. Now the CarFax showed damage and it reduced my $52100. truck to $38800. Warning, this place is a grease pit that is so f_ _n bad that the grease killed the shade tree. OH yah, they took my new K&N air filter and put in an old dirty paper filter.
