This place has a porter that is wonderful. The pizza was very good. The crust was thin enough to be crispy on the bottom but hardy enough to hold the toppings and our server was fabulous! They have only been open a couple of months, surely they will only get better with time. The building and patio are designed really well. If you are in the neighborhood you have to go. read more

Really good coffee and lovely baristas. I believe they are the owners. They have a small selection of lotions,soaps, etc in the back that were heavenly. Just wish they had more room and better information on what's available. I did enjoy the honey latte. read more

The building is beautiful and the beer is yummy. The pizza looks handmade and the servers are extremely nice. I sat at the bar with my husband and relaxed with a flight, to get a range of the local beer. Highly recommend! It was busy and still we got seats and fast service. We love the simple food menu and the fact that you can create your own pizza. Their pizza is so delicious, has the perfect crust and doesn't feel heavy in your stomach. Now to the good stuff, they have the biggest beer selection. You can bring anyone here and I can almost guarantee they will find a beer they love. I gave the brewing company two stars mainly because of the craftsmanship of the building itself. The architect was on point with the modern rustic feel and open layout. Of course they have lost my interest due to the inexperienced wood pizza maker. My pizza was burnt and tasted like fire on one side. I understand a little smokiness but this was just flat out burnt. Perhaps their beer selection is better, but I did not partake on this occasion. read more

The place is gorgeous. I can't make this up. In the Winter, visiting the place while it's snowing adds some magic to your experience there. You feel connected to the environment while enjoying some of the best brewed beer and handmade pizza. I've always been a fan of the Viking Ale and The cherry cider. The Viking ale is too good to be true. It's a dark looking drink that goes down smoother and tastier than any 13% alcoholic beverage I'll ever enjoy in the mountains. The cherry cider is sweet and tasty. Not too sweet though, just sweet enough for your taste buds to keep wanting more. The cherry flavor is very much present but not over powering, it's a refreshing drink that I'd love to drink during the summer or if I decide to eat a whole pizza. All of their pizza is excellent and if you wanna build your own, you can't go wrong because their toppings are what make the pizza very tasty. I recommend visiting in the heart of winter when no one else can make it up the mountain. ;) read more

A group of six of us went to the brewery today and all of us came away very disappointed in the food quality. This was our third trip in the last year and we noticed immediately that the food quality has gone down. We ordered three different pizzas and they came out with just a crust with Minimal ingredients. Pizza ingredients are inexpensive and the owner should be monitoring the quality of the food .At this point I could not recommend the pizza. Buy your beer and go down the street for barbecue you will be much happier. read more

They're really a 3.5, I just don't round up. So this was a backup option on a Friday night with some friends. They only have pizza as a food option, but it is good pizza. Pretty sure it's wood oven fired which is a plus and even though I got the pepperoni and added sausage, it still wasn't too greasy which can easily be the case. They only offer one size pizza, 10' I believe. Didn't get one of their beers, opted for an IPA from the Santa Fe Brewery so I can't speak to their beers. Stopped by on a Wednesday for lunch & it was awesome! We showed up with 8 kids, yes 8 kids, and there was no problem. We ordered 5 pizzas and a flight of beer. Pizzas were great especially the Zia pizza. Kids devoured the pepperoni and cheese pizzas & loved them. We enjoyed the beer just wish they had their wheat beer available but they were out. We've been here several times. We love the brews and the pizza. The salads and freshly made homemade soups daily are also very good. The atmosphere is very nice with unique architecture throughout and bathrooms are always clean. Indoor and outdoor seating, (pre-Covid). The staff are always very friendly and prompt with our orders and beers. Wood fired pizza is so delicious here. We've tried several variations and they also cater to vegan gluten free folks. This is our definite go to place every time we come to Cloudcroft. read more

Came to Alamogordo to visit my daughter and heard about this beer brewing company. So we decided to get be it a try. What disappointment, the sitting area was not busy when our group of 5 arrived we noticed a server look at us twice before she came out for our drink order. A short time later a couple entered and was immediately greeted and their orders were taken. When our drinks arrived, the server spilled some water while she placed the water to my wife. No sorry, I'll take of it or anything. We had clean it up ourselves. A short time later the couple who arrived after us received their pizza order, while we continued to wait. When our, pizzas finally arrived, they seemed ok, however why charge an extra $1 for onions when there are very few on the pizza. Our overall experience was very poor and I would not recommend this establishment for others. I would definitely recommend intense customer service training for the staff. As of right now, I don't see this establishment staying in business much long unless staff training issues are addressed immediately. read more

The pizza at this place is absolutely wonderful! We had the Greek Pizza and the Margherita Pizza and both were delicious. Unfortunately, our service was less than desirable. Our server took 20 minutes to take our drink order, despite coming to the area 5-6 times to drop off and pick up surrounding tables' tickets. At this time we were told the water was self serve, information that would have been useful upon our arrival. We watched several tables around us, who arrived much later, get their drinks and food long before we did. It wasn't until we complained about the beer I had ordered 30 minutes before that it was brought to our table, with our food arriving shortly after. The server used the excuse that the bartender hadn't prepared it yet, though two tables (again, arriving much later) had received there's ahead of us. Overall, this place has a lot of potential and seems like a great local hangout. Unless we just had an out of character experience, there is a lot of room for improvement where customer service is concerned. For starters, the hostess could mention that there is a self serve water station available while waiting for a server to show up. read more

First time here, the place is very nice inside and they have a very large open outdoor area in back. The beers on tap are all from New Mexico, and 5 are ones they brew. I was looking forward to some good beer, but all the beers on tap are Ales. Not a fan. Pizza was good and the staff was great. All in all I had a good time. Hopefully they will venture into other types beers in the future. Overall my experience was okay, I had high expectations for this place, but it wasn't for me. If I could give them zero stars I would. Couldn't tell you if it was good or bad, waited at the front to be seated for about 15 minutes and was told several times be with you in a minute. Got tired of waiting and left. I can say that the restaurant was not very busy so I'm not sure what the hold up was. I'm not a local so I can't say I'll ever be back. read more
