Deeper inside the building is another retail area that carries a creative stash of gifts. You'll never meet a stranger at Bonito Valley. Stop in and give them a try. Their answer was "if your dog is friendly, we are dog friendly." So we say down and ordered a pint, and several customers came over to pet our then-6 month old husky mix pup. We each ordered a sandwich (I don't remember the specifics) and got a plain unseasoned hot dog without a roll for the doggo. The staff was very pleasant, and the customers were friendly and chatty. They had some very funny signs on the walls that made my wife and me laugh. We will happily return when staying overnight or passing through Socorro again.
