I've been here a few times before and it was one of the few places that wasn't packed on Christmas Day. It should be. Prepared in a unique style different from a lot of the traditional Mediterranean options. It truly is a culinary adventure. We started out with zucchini pancakes and falafels for appetizers. The Kafta Iraq Kebab was the popular choice with others getting lamb shanks. I chose bulgar and lentil soup for the 2 sides. Delicious meal for the holidays and nice atmosphere for socializing and being able to hear each other.

The manager, who I was told is her best friend, was actually professional, kind, and communicative. I'm an influencer and I also attend Yelp Elite events so I'm very used to trying new spots, giving honest feedback, and collaborating with businesses. On this night I had just come from an influencer event with a big group of friends and we wanted to keep the night going, so one of my friends suggested a hookah place nearby that stays open late and we decided to check it out. I even offered a potential collaboration, which is something I do often with businesses. Some say yes, some say no, and that is completely fine. What isn't fine is overhearing the owner speaking about me to her staff in a rude and unprofessional way, assuming I couldn't hear it. I approached her calmly and addressed it directly. Letting her know I hear her speaking of me. She immediately changed her tone and asked what I heard. I chose to de-escalate and move on and I said I heard she's excited to collab. Just to keep the peace. That alone says a lot. Beyond that, the service overall was unprofessional. At closing, instead of communicating that they were closing, the hookah was abruptly taken from my hand with no communication as decent customer service would do, even though there were still other tables present. Again, this was the owner. Overall, between the low quality experience, the contrast between the nice outdoor setup, and the lack of basic respect and professionalism, I would not recommend this place. I suggest the owner take notes from the manager. The only positives was the managers professionalism and the outdoor was beautifully decorated. But that's it.

Didn't get a good look at the menu of drinks they serve but seems like it's mostly the good 'ol faithful lineup (as in the standard of what you'll find at a kava bar- kava shells) Pretty much good vibes all around lolol. 10 outta 10 would come back when down that way again.

If you like a more standard bar vibe, Wednesday nights are happy hour where the drinks are half off. That's when it's the busiest. However, the atmosphere really shines when there's not a lot of people. It has low lighting, comfy couches and bar seating, chill music is played at a comfortable volume, and the bar has a smart tv. If you're looking for a break from sensory hell, to just go to a place to charge your phone and work on your computer, or to just unwind, I cannot recommend this place enough, especially on Monday/Tuesday nights.

I agreed that sounded like an excellent idea. Patio Tapas and Beer was supposed to have a good happy hour 5pm-7pm so we went with that. Its located in a tough spot to get a parking spot in South Mizner area, but we got lucky and landed a spot right by the front door. They had just moved to this new location from nearby a few months ago. It still felt kinda new inside in a good way. There wasn't many people there when we arrived. We were able to easily get a couple spots at their nice oaken bar. There were a handful of friendly staff there that were quick with some wine and some of their happy hour Montaditos. We tried the sangria as well which they had a large container of on the bar. We tried the potatoes, duck breast, shrimp, and Jamon iberico and manchego. Everything was darn good, the iberico possibly the best. Oh, and the Spanish omelet was a nice bite as well. It was a nice happy hour; much better than going to the gym. We will have to stop in again soon. They had alot of different plates to try.

They still have patio seating, which is smaller but slightly better views. Service is always good, attentive, and helpful. We usually come for happy hour to take advantage of their large menu of montaditos. I think they're all pretty good but our favorites are the piquillo relleno--a small, whole stuffed red pepper with goat cheese, the classic pan con tomate, churrasco, and cordero estofado. I would say those are the most flavorful ones and on our regular rotation. They also have an almond cake we always order that is imported from Spain. Served warm and à la mode, it has a little crusty edge and a very moist, dense crumb. Not too sweet. Sometimes they serve it drizzled with chocolate and I prefer it without.
