I didn't know where to begin, so I began checking online and by word of mouth. A friend of mine recommended Yellow Dog Estate Sales, so I called them up and scheduled a meet and greet. I had already met two other estate sale companies, so when Jennifer and Jennifer (yes, there are two Jennifers at Yellow Dog) came to the house, they were a breath of fresh air. Unlike the others I met that day, they knew their stuff and they didn't promise you the world. Yellow Dog Estate Sales did a tremendous job! It took them about 10 days to prepare for the auction, because we had a lot of things. The weekend of the auction went without a hitch, and, of course, there were things left over. For an additional fee, they will make sure everything is removed and leave the home left in broom-swept condition. If you don't want the hassle of dealing with leftover things, I highly recommend paying the little extra, because it's well worth it. Just as important, during their preparations, they found family mementos we had missed. Instead placing them in the estate sale, they placed these items is a secure place, so family could go through it later. If one is looking for an estate sale company, I recommend you look no further than Yellow Dog Estate Sales. They're professional and know what your going through. They will work very hard for you and will put your interests first. Just as important, their payment was on time, and it accurate.

It struck me that somebody has an excellent eye for designing and utilizing space. The rooms are filled with Christmas decorations and household decor, with a masculine spin, a lot of copper and stags. Displays throughout the house were lit with artificial candles, flickering enticingly. They also have regular candles. I did not note any smell while I was there. No fake perfume and scents cloying the air. Also no Santa Clause (...until one room on the 2nd floor. And then, it was tastefully done). The place is stock full with things making the clearance walking down the halls difficult if you're carrying anything. For everyone's safety, I set my stuff down and kept shopping. I would call it cluttered were it not so elegantly laid out. It's also clean. No dust to be seen. But I would be careful never to put my keys down out of fear I would not find them again. I was offered Meyer lemons on the way out from their trees. I am eager to return to see this wonderful little curio shop and will bring friends.

She showed him a couple of watches that were beautiful but were not working properly.
