There were at least 2 employees in the salon with no customers, neither of which seemed very friendly or helpful. I simply wanted my nails removed which is not a lengthy process. I have been looking for a new salon to frequent every two weeks for nails, as my old one is no longer satisfactory, but I will definitely not be returning to Salon 180. Very disappointed as I was told the salon is always very accommodating. Salon 180 has lost a very loyal potential customer with their rudeness and poor customer service.

When I went back to have them fixed, the tech simply removed the gems instead of properly correcting the design. I originally paid for those details, so leaving without them was frustrating. What upset me most was the technician's attitude. When I asked about fixing the design, she looked visibly annoyed and disgusted that she had to address it at all. As a paying client, that reaction made me very uncomfortable. This used to be my go-to salon, but after this experience, I won't be returning. As a cosmetologist myself, I believe client satisfaction should always come first. Unfortunately, the salon has changed, and not for the better. The increasing emphasis on strict appointment policies and the lack of flexibility have completely changed the customer experience. While I understand that every business has the right to set its policies, customer service should never take a back seat. I believe loyal, repeat customers should be appreciated, not made to feel like an inconvenience. I have my pedicures done regularly, always choose the highest-tier gel pedicure, and I tip generously because I value good service. When that level of loyalty is no longer reciprocated, it's time to take my business elsewhere. Sadly, that's exactly what I'll be doing. I won't be returning, and I'll be finding a new salon that values its regular customers as much as I value the businesses I choose to support. Dane suggested me very enthusiastically and patiently waited for me to choose the color (yeah, I must say that this is one of the nail salons with many beautiful colors and you will spend a lot of time deciding). I told him that I wanted my nails to be durable and sparkly, he suggested I do deep then paint a cat eye, and then he saw that my hands were too empty so l asked him to do a freestyle drawing and he did not disappoint! Finally, Dane even lent me a huge diamond so l could do a video with this adorable set of nails. I highly recommend this nail salon and l'll come back here when I come to visit PA again!

Back story: I was 7 min late to my appointment because of the cluster of the Mount Rose Ave exit. I drove an hour to this spa to get a prenatal massage at the recommendation of a friend who had just had one. I specifically came here because they were the only spa that said they would do a belly-lying prenatal massage with a special pillow. Once I arrived, the receptionist said that I wouldn't be able to have the full hour massage because there was an appointment after mine. I agreed and said that is totally fine, I completely understand. She also said that I wouldn't be charged the full price for the massage because of this. Once the massage therapist escorted me to the room, she stated the massage would be about 30 minutes. I again stated that was fine and I completely understand and she can do what she needs to stay on time. Upon my interview prior to the massage, she stated that I would be in a side lying position. This was a huge disappointment since I specifically came to this spa to NOT do that position. I went along with it since I was already there. She also stated it wasn't going to be like a regular massage. She was right. Again, disappointed that it was basically like rubbing oil on my body. Upon checking out, the receptionist goes to ring me up, and asked me how long it was. I stated 30 minutes because that's what the massage therapist told me it was going to be. There was no 30 minute massage option for check out. She goes to ask the massage therapist who then tells her it's 45 minutes and that counts for the full time. When the receptionist stated this, I said that didn't seem right (my phone timer said 33 minutes when I stopped it to change. Yes I time people because I don't trust them for this exact reason) so she called her manage. She told her manager that I was massaged for 45 minutes. I was not. And they told me that I had to pay the full price. So not only did they charge me full price for a 30 min massage, I didn't even get the massage I wanted. How manipulative to tell a customer one thing, and then change that at the last minute. I left a tip for 30 minutes of work, specifically for this reason. Will not be returning since they told me over the phone when I booked the appointment that they could accommodate a belly lying prenatal massage, and because of their manipulative charging of prices after a partially rendered service.
