We received very poor customer service from Sam and the owner, Mike. After multiple calls and…read moreemails to correct a mistake they made with our crown molding costing us over $2500, they have been unwilling to refund what I paid for the molding and insist on me buying more at cost ($1250) after I already paid them initially. There were also errors with an oak trim piece (3" wide instead of 5") for my range hood and incorrect drawer fronts on our island that do not match the other wall cabinets. The cabinet touch-up kit has items missing and an incorrect color touch up so I have no way to fill nail holes on the trim. They have said these were their errors and that they would re-order the pieces, but they have yet to do so. I would hesitate to trust them if you are considering doing a kitchen design as it is simply not worth the risk and months of delay due to missing/incorrect items. Please look at their reviews as most of the high rated reviews are made up profiles with one or only a handful of reviews. Buyer beware. [Update, I just noticed the owner posted a reply today stating they warned against this crown molding and that is simply not true, in fact, I wanted two-stage crown and they advised against it since I was going with 39" cabinets. He also states that he would still like to help complete the job to my liking and to call him, but I can assure you that we talked twice this week including yesterday afternoon and he refused to refund even just the cost of my crown molding unless I buy more from him. This is no longer an option as I have already spent hours making custom crown and getting paint matched for the trim. He said at the end of the call the "we're done" so not sure why he posted this today. We have not received the 5" oak trim board, missing touch-up items, or corrected drawer fronts. Based on these measurements, we were directed by the designer to purchase custom pieces that we were unreturnable. When approached with the problem, they first blamed the contractor, then REFUSED TO PAY to fix the problem. This problem DELAYED a 6 week project back 2 weeks and they were very unapologetic. If you are looking for a group to increase the ease of your project, they will make mistakes and delay completion. For the price of their services, go elsewhere.

Within a year of the shower installation, we had a leak in our first floor ceiling. We also found a loose tile. I asked Reese to come out, and he came within a reasonable amount of time to re-caulk the bathroom, but did not fully diagnose the problem. When I asked Reese to come out again because the leak had not subsided, and it was clear that the new shower installation was incorrect, he said he would come diagnose the problem, but not without payment due to the warranty expiring. This left a sour taste in my mouth and I did not feel that I should have to pay for contractor failure. After 5 years and a proper diagnosis of the issue, we just spent over $8000 to fix the damage caused by poor workmanship.

Over the following weeks, after multiple discussions, we were eventually able to get some of the furniture replaced. However, these delays pushed the project timeline back by nearly a month. As a result, the photographer was not able to come on schedule, and we missed the peak selling period of the season. To make matters worse, during the de-staging process, one of their team members accidentally removed or discarded the hardware for an expensive grill, causing additional damage estimated at several hundred dollars. Throughout the process, the Voila team largely denied responsibility for the issues raised. While they described their service as "premium staging," much of the furniture appeared low quality and inconsistent with that positioning. Overall, the delays, damages, and lack of accountability resulted in significant financial and timing losses on our end.
